[IC] Gundam Build Fighters Maximum - IC and OOC

Von Braun City, a port-city in the coast of Northern California is where our adventure starts. It is a city that frequently see foreign cargo ships drop their merchandise before leaving with new cargo. As a result, it is one of the first cities to receive new merchandise such as the Gunpla model kits from Japan. With the collapse of the PPSE as the regulator of Gunpla Battles it was Anaheim Corporation that took it's place under regional license from Yajima Trading, the company that took over what remained of the once proud organisation in ashes. *** Peter was in shock with what he heard. "Wait, there is not a Gunpla club here?" He tried to make sure. The teacher he was speaking to didn't look at him when answering. "I told you we don't." He answered. "If you want to make a club then feel free to do so." The student thought about making a club. "How can I make a club?" He asked. The apathetic teacher now sipped on his coffee. "You need to gather people of interest, reason why the club should be established and a teacher or parent to endorse it." He explained. "If you can bring them all together then the club will be approved and the school will help in registering for events such as cooperation." Peter noted on what he will need. "Thank you sir." He said as he left to show some respect. He opened the door to leave the teacher's lounge that will become as crowded as students either go home or stay for extra-curricular activities. While he was lost in his thoughts a dark-haired teacher bumped into the young man. "Entschuldigen sie." She apologised as she entered the teacher's lounge. By the way she dressed she looked like a teacher but was speaking in German. Since it was his first day at this school he may yet to meet this teacher in a lesson. He walked back to his locker to get his bag that also contains his prized Byzantine Gundam. Once the bag was filled with his homework and miscellaneous articles Peter left the school with his bicycle. He rode to a local Gunpla store called "Layzner's", a store that once only sold model kits of planes and tank but began venturing into Gunpla after the boom with the discovery of Plavsky Particles years ago. As he entered there was a gruff looking man at the counter building a Val Walo from Stardust Memories, the owner known as Kelley due to the coincidental appearance with one of the characters. At this time other students from the school will be there. The young man decided to look around to find someone and the first place to look is the store's battlefield where fighters can test their skills.

Gary wasn't doing much in his spare time. Being a transfer student was hard especially being from the east coast of the good ol' US of A. It was like an entirely different life style here than it was in his home town. At least he didn't need to deal with his brothers constant badgering. He was sitting outside at this moment looking around the school yard and mindlessly tossing a small coin up and down. He dropped the coin every now and then but hey no one was perfect right? He unconsciously reached for the case in his backpack but pulled his hand back. "You know I really miss doing things with you." he grumbled to the case as he chuckled. "Oh course though all good things must come to an end...well at now for least maybe when we get back." he said to the case as he fumbled around with his brown jacket. It was odd not wearing his other one but that was for a life that he'd left behind on the other side of the continent. "Man days like this you just need to sit back look up at the sky and hope that something nice happens." said Gary as he chuckled to himself, "Man I really shouldn't talk to myself like this people would think I'm some sort of monologue loving weirdo." he said after getting up and pulling out another case different from the one he had and pulled out a small hand held system and put in a game cartridge. It was a Japanese game but it had English subtitles luckily for him. It was a hack and slash game featuring a group of people from some anime he'd never seen before. And thus Gary walked wherever he could. There was no plan for today so may as well just chill at school for a bit.

Marie couldn’t help but sigh as a new student to the school there was not much she was able to do no clubs really grabbed her attention and she had no friends at the moment either. Sometimes she thought to herself it was not worth being considered the “quiet” transfer student. This however was nothing new she was always a quiet person and as such people tended to leave her alone. Though shaking that thought she went out perhaps she could find a hobby shop or something that carried gunplay and or hopefully contained a battling stage. With these thoughts she shuffled through her duffel bag and pulled out her rollerblades before lacing them up. With her preferred mode of self transportation chosen she stood up and smoothed out her skirt before heading into the city to look for any type of hobby shop that sold gunpla. It took her awhile and having to ask for directions multiple times to eventually find a small hobby shop from the looks of it that might contain what she was looking for. The shop name she forgot off hand as she wasn't paying much attention but if it did contain what she wanted she would have to look into getting the address of it memorized. Stopping at the front she slipped off her skates and drapped them over her shoulder before stepping into the shop and began to look around. So far it did contain what she was looking for though no models really jumped out at her. Though while she was walking she stopped at the part of the store contain models from gundam 00 and started to browse there. While looking one particular model grabbed her attention and she grabbed it the Reborns Gundam which for some time has been evading her. Now all she needed to do was to see if they had an arena for gunpla battles hopefully they did since it’s been awhile since she was able to take out her freedom impulse for a spin.

Peter observed the posters in the hobby shop. A green customised Tallgeese, the Tallgeese Valkyrie of Californian Greco Logan was one of the recognisable models in poster, following Build Strike Cosmos of Japanese Iori Sei and the GM Sniper K9 of Argentina's Renato brothers. There was one new poster that he noticed, a dark-haired female builder with a Sandrock in green-gemmed psychoframe, freshly autographed. The battle that was going on in the shop's battlefield ended, the two fighters shaking hands at the end before collecting their respective models. Peter looked at the battlefield and looked around for a vacant fighter willing to spar. He hopes the level of this city is good enough to recruit from for his team. If Gary noticed the school entrance, a dark-haired teacher exited from the door and walked to a car to place her paperwork inside. In the car there were a number of Gundam memorabilia like M'Quve's Northern Song vase, a red pillow with the Red Comet's insignia and an Earth Alliance towel. The teacher started the car and exited the car park to the direction of "Layzner's" store.

Too engrossed in his game Gary failed to notice the car nor the teacher. He failed to beat the boss in the game forcing him to start all the way back at the start of the level. Man I hate when there's no check points...but hey gotta go for broke right? Gary thought to himself as he looked across the hall. A group of guys where complaining about something and next to them was a group of girls trying to correct them. Steering himself away from the group he decided to go back outside. Things weren't so fun at school were they? Gary walked outside until he noticed a folded up magazine on a nearby bench. Seeing as his game wasn't going anywhere he promptly paused the game and decided to check out the magazine because it looked like an anime one. Maybe he could find something he would watch online sometime. As he opened the comic he noticed immediately to his delight it had some gunpla in it. Well hopefully he wasn't intruding on someone. If he was he'd have to go and apologize to the person for using their magazine without their permission but seeing as school was over and all...well he guessed it was all fair game. Not that he was planning on taking the magazine but...wait why was he trying to justify his own actions? There was no harm in looking at a magazine that was set aside.

Thomas Law - THE BLUE STAR The interface dissolved back to the real world, his hands fell from the movement controllers as his opponent's build toppled in half. The black hair teen was eighteen perhaps, pimples dotting his face but obscuring his gray eyes. He came out the machine slouched and defeated, holding his model in both hands, the legs in one and the torso in the other. "Damn you're good. Better than I thought you'd be at least. That build you have must be top-dollar or something, I've never seen a Unicorn one without a beam rifle," he said while drawing closer to the blue haired youth. "I mean whose so stupid as to give up range all together. Its going to bite you in the ass one day buddy." A slight chuckle left him as he proudly held up Brave Passion. "I sacrifice range to be able to decimate my opponents. Its no problem! I'm quick and unstoppable, that's why they call me The Blue Star," he reminded the guy. In his hands was a weathered Unicorn build, a cobalt blue paint one of its shoulder pieces and horn. "Ahh yea, I think I heard of you. You were that kid that was making a name for himself in New York right? A...wasn't your sister RED HOT?" That was the best way to cool him down after a winning streak. Even in Cali his sister's shadow was still bearing down on him. He rubbed the back of his head and plopped down on a bench next to the current arena he was using. "Yea, I suppose you want me to verify her skills right?" "Hell ya! was she really as good as they say?" "She was better," he admitted coldly. The guy let out a shuttering breath before leaving, on the way out he was shaking his head in disbelief as if trying to wrap his mind over a folklore. Thomas pulled on the collar of his gray hoodie, the fabric tight on his neck since his plop. It also felt pretty hot since he had been so focused on the battle before. He never felt more alive than when he was battling with Brave Passion. It's like I'm actually there, actually piloting. I feel unstoppable when I'm soaring through the Space Field, he thought, closing his eyes and relishing the moment. I want to battle again. He shot up off the bench and went to the door that led out to the hobby shop. "Yo! anyone wanna battle out there? I'm up for another one and my controller hands are itching for more!" He poked half body out, keeping a instinctive eye on his drink and spot since others were already wandering around; spectators of his previous match. Looking at the digital watch on his wrist, he figured she'd show up soon. I'll get my chance to outshine her today! My master-plan and greatest achievement will soon come true!

Marie exhaled she had just brought the model now her idea of hers could finally begin but first she needed to get better at building. Shaking those thoughts out of her head she headed out it seemed they did have a gunpla arena in the shop after all hopefully there would be someone willing to fight her. With those thoughts in mind she headed out to where the arenas were after carefully putting away the model and skates into her bag. As she walked she noticed the posters of some of the more famous gunpla fighters such as Iori Sei in Japan and Greco Logan from California. Though in her honest opinion they did not matter there was only one famous gunpla fighter that she really cared about and that was it. Ignoring those thoughts she entered to where the arenas were leaned against a wall if anything someone would announce asking for a fight than she would agree but not the other way around that was how she operated no more and no less. Though with a sigh she opened her bag and took out her gunpla and sat down at a nearby table. It was awhile since it had its last battle and she wanted to make sure all the parts were working correctly. Her gunpla Freedom Impulse was a one winged strike freedom custom that one she spend years working on going from a standard strike freedom to what it was today. With a sigh she set out to do her job though not before catching the tail end of a fight between two people. It seemed that there might be something interesting in this town after all she thought.

Thomas Law - THE BLUE STAR Thomas sunk at the silence, some vacant shoppers had looked up at him for a moment but returned shortly. He guess they weren't that into Gunpla to consider battling. He stepped back into the arena room, the urge to battle festering. He needed to find someone else or he'd explode from the ideal. A bit desperate, he spotted two people inside that looked busy but inside nonetheless. One of them was a girl, silver hair flowing down to her back and quite cute. Though, she much too busy to be a battler, he thought. The other was taller and older, he looked like a competent battler but who actually knew which was one was stronger. Only a dedicated Gunpla Battler would respond to his challenge. Confident steps clapped against the floor as he made his way to a spare arena. He had a itch that could only be scratched by Unicorn Brave Passion and he couldn't leave until he got his fix. He activated the arena, dispersing the Plavsky Particles that announced the start of a challenge. A hand reach over to touch the back of his neck and out of view, below the table, Brave Passion was wrapped in his hand. A mechanized voice asked for step 1 of the process. Thomas obliged but he wouldn't place his Gunpla down until someone accepted. "Anyone wanna take me on? I'm warning you now though, I'm no slouch."

Peter, observing the apathy of the people around him gave him a poor impression of Von Braun City. "Plebs." He muttered. He walked to the vacant battlefield. "I will accept your challenge." He answered the call. He got his Byzantine Gundam out of his case and placed it in the arena. When the GP base was set up, the base lightened up with the names and the Anaheim logo as the model was registering into the system. "So, show me what you got Von Braun." The golden Epyon variant began coming to life, ready to battle when the opponent is ready. Peter noted how the model damage has been set to the lowest due to the friendly nature of the match. When the battle looked like it was about to start, a woman entered the store. She immediately placed away her glasses to reveal a more youthful look she hid. The owner of the store noticed the new customer but returned to his Val Walo, working on the red paint. She took notice of the battles that are about to take place and a girl working on a customised Strike-Freedom. She chose to watch the scenes from the background and pose as buying new kits. Back at the school where the Gundam merchandised car was there was one thing that was forgotten. It was a strap that looked like it had Quatre Raberba Winner left on the ground and the teacher would only notice something is missing after she returns home.

Thomas Law - THE BLUE STAR The reflective mirrors of his eyes glanced towards the strong hand of the male he spotted earlier. He had to admit that it was expected but it wasn't exactly what he wanted. It was the studious ones, like the silver haired girl that were truly interesting. Even still, the battle was welcomed, hell, it was laid out with a red carpet. With a smirk, he nodded a greeting towards the guy. "Nice, I'm happy to have you as a challenger." A RX-0 Unicorn Gunpla, with a blue shoulder plate and blue horn was set down, the plavsky particles showered through the build. "Let's go all out, no holds bars!" The mechanized voice spoke. "Field 1. Space. Battle Begin!" Brave Passion's eyes came to life, the neon green streaming about as it pulled out a lightsaber in one hand and held out a shield in the other. He floated forwards, his enemy coming into view. Thomas pushed forwards full speed, the sapphire thrusters speeding him through the vast scenery of space and towards the golden mecha. "Alright! here I come!" shouted an overexcited Thomas.

Gary was looking over the magazine still when he moved over a little and accidentally pushed over his backpack. Grumbling he went to pick it up, after putting the magazine aside, only to find a small strap on the ground. Looking at it he noticed that it has a name on it. On closer inspection noticed it was a Gundam name, Well someone is missing their cosplay piece...well I'll keep it with me until someone either claims it. If no one comes along before I leave I'll hand it into the lost and found. Gary Miller thought to himself as he put the strap on top of his back pack after picking it up and resumed reading the magazine. It was talking about a couple of the old legends of the gunpla circuit. Namely the Meijins from Japan and the European Champions. Interesting to read since not many people around here sell these sort of magazines. Realizing his game was still on Gary quickly flailed over and grabbed the hand held system and he saved the game before turning it off and stuffing it in his back pack.

Finishing up her repairs it seemed there were some things that needed to be fixed and she was glad that she took time to go over it rather than just accepting that one person’s fight request. It was probably for the best after all if she tried to do a fight with how it was the arm probably wouldn’t have lasted all that long in the battle. Packing up her items but leaving her gunpla out she stopped to watch the battle it should prove interesting if her hunches was correct. The two people fighting was using what seemed to be a modified Epyon if she was not mistaken so a close range fighter though judging by the equipment loaded on it the speed wouldn’t be great. The other person on the other was using a straight Gundam Unicorn but who knows what exactly was hidden beneath its frame. Though just going by its lack of ranged weapons it was a close range fighter. Seeing those gunpla she couldn’t help but think of strategies against them while brushing a stray hair from her face. For the Epyon she would have to try and use her speed to out pace it and hopefully strike at it than run guerilla tactics at its finest. Though for the Unicorn one it would seem that bombarding the enemy would be needed considering his lack of ranged weapons if she could control the range victory would be hers. Finishing those thoughts she looked back at her gunpla her Freedom Impulse was a speed and range fighter and while it was pretty well built she felt that there was still more she could do for it. One thing she was thinking of was replacing the wing for a more powerful backpack that contained dragoons or funnels but also had an extra cannon something similar to the backpack that was used by Iori’s build Gundam mk2. Though this was still far off before she could even think of doing something like that as she went to watch the fight between the two.

The Byzantine Gundam entered the space battlefield with the pilot observing the surrounding. The radar began showing the speeding Unicorn Gundam heading towards him. Peter quickly reacted by drawing his beam-sword and blocked the attack with output placed enough to prevent his opponent from slice him. When the Unicorn's movement became slower due to his block he used a kick to push it away and transformed into his double-headed eagle MA mode to his in one of the surrounding asteroids to get time to analyse his enemy. "The opponent, certainly using a Unicorn Gundam." He noted. "An agile close-combat modification. Sounds like a good contrast to my armoured close-combat." He transformed his Byzantine Gundam back to it's MS mode to prepare for another melee.

Thomas Law - THE BLUE STAR Brave Passion clashed with the golden mecha for a moment, the humming of the two beamsabers pushing each other made the bout all the more real. Outwardly the youth eyes narrowed, realizing the difference between this man and other Gunpla Battlers he had met so far. This one had some experience under his belt, that much was obvious from his quick block, but was enough to beat him? that was the real question. As his opponent broke away from the clash, he lowered his four-petaled shield to block the kick and let him burst away. He wasn't into chasing, at least not usually but this guy could actually offer him a good fight. It would had been easy to impale the protruding leg but he didn't want to end it too quickly. With that mode-change, he's definitely quicker but not by too much. Me and my sister did a good job with this Gunpla and its not just for show! he thought aloud. The blue-horned Unicorn sped off towards the Asteroid, Byzantine hid behind, the radar on the interface bleeped more the closer he got. He held his shield up in case of fire, laxed his hands on the controls in case of emergency maneuvers, and held his beamsaber off to his side. "You won't beat me by simply looking. Its experience that really teaches the soul. It's a quote from my sister, you should probably write it down." Diane Law - RED HOT Walking aimlessly through the campus was a beauty of a woman. Red hair tied up in a messy bun, her golden eyes were prodding the ground for something missing. She had lost it. She had freaking lost it and it was the latest volume too. Here she thought she'd get a good read in while waiting for her Narutard. She smoothed out the formal dress she was wearing for the meeting with Thomas' principle today, mother couldn't make it and neither could Luke. So she was the next best thing, of course she would had done a better job than Luke anyway. Looking up, she pulled a strand behind her ear and spotted the cover of her magazine in a boy's hand. With an exaggerated yelled, she sprinted off towards him, her steps perfectly balance in the heels she wore. Smoke was thrown up behind her as she came to a stop and heaved in front of him. "You! you have my magazine!" she huffed, cheeks blown up and oddly cute. "Its really expensive and I had to fly it out from Japan, please give it back."

"Whoa whoa there Miss I wasn't going to do anything to it. I saw it sitting here and figured I'd take a look at it. Saw it was an import and thought it might have some cool articles. Better than button mashing my way to hell on this little thing." Gary said handing her the magazine and then pointing out he had a hand held game system with him. "If it means anything I'm sorry for taking your magazine without permission just saw it was left out so I saw no harm in checking it out. You know like those magazines at the doctor's office. Oh yeah I almost forgot about this... Miss is this yours too? I found it nearby." Gary continued offering her the small strap that had the name Quatre on it. Gary didn't really want to deal with a panicked girl so he'd figured it was best to just chill out and have her calm down a bit. After all if this magazine was hers then why would he have any right to say wait or no despite the fact that he was just about done reading it. "Oh and the name's Gary by the way."

Peter saw how his opponent smashed through the asteroid he hid in. It was part of his plan however with the the asteroid's debris meant to blind him. From behind he rushed with his beamsabre to get a chance in the unguarded area of his opponent. "I see this city is not full of Plebians as I thought." He remarked at his impressive opponent. "I don't who your sister is but you are only yourself! Not your sister!" The teacher looked at the battle with interest while holding a box of 1/144 Gundam Spiegel. It was a feeling that she used to feel long time ago in Europe where she was once prominent. She noticed another girl closeby, the same girl that was at the work-bench earlier. Taking a closer look at the battle she saw how it was between a golden Epyon and a Unicorn Gundam with minor colourations of blue and noted how coincidental that her own model is based off both Gundam Wing and Gundam Unicorn.

Thomas Law - THE BLUE STAR The asteroid had exploded before he reached it, debris flew out all around him, large chunks and small chunks alike repelling off his shield as he guarded Brave Passion. The Unicorn remained still and Thomas looked out for enemies' build, a second afterward he noticed the Golden Mecha coming from behind. He jutted to the left with a short burst dodging the attack, twisted in a quick motion, and brought his beamsaber diagonal of his adversary's ranged weapon. If he had hit right, it was bound to explode in a few short moments. He thrust back out of the blast radius, throwing it in Space would do little good, it'll only float a few feet away. I wonder if he'll find a way out of that one. Its been awhile since I thought on my feet like that. "Not bad, but the The Blue Star won't be winked out so easily. I'm quick and powerful, remember that!" His eyes remained focus on the screen, despite his playful tone. Diane Law - RED HOT After listening to the boy's explanation, she had to admit that she felt a little foolish. Although she usually came off a bit headstrong and airy, it wasn't good to display it at Thomas' school. I miles well be Luke, she scorned herself lightly. Grabbing the magazine and the piece of her cosplay that fell from her purse, Diane stuffed them back in with pink on her cheeks. She looked over the boy and stopped on his hands, they displayed familiar features of her own and Thomas', they were oddly sturdy looking, designed for control and precision. With a friendly smile she replied. "I'm Diane Law, nice to meet you. Are you by any chance a Gunpla Battler?" she asked, slowly putting the pieces together. "Or perhaps a Gunpla Builder?"

"Uh well Diane I'm no Meijin, but I consider myself a pretty competent gunpla builder." Gary commented as he reached into his back pack and reached for his black case. He had no other reason to grab it otherwise so he figured now was as good a time as ever to show it off to this chick. He showed her the case it was bulky. "This is my latest model. It's nothing special I'd say but it's alright." Gary commented to Diane as he opened the double sided case to reveal a big dark green version of The O. It was straight built but it was sturdy and the color was well painted. The suit had a small H painted on the side in orange however. "That mark on the side of this is a personal symbol of mine. Like a signature. Does this suit your fancy? I mean it's no pretty Bear Guy like I'm sure you like but it's still pretty strong." === http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/PMX-003_The_O

Marie couldn't help but smile this was something she been wanting to see for awhile a battle between two people who actually knew what they were doing and actually making plans up to try and win them the battle. Though with the rate it was going it was probably be for awhile before the battle settled down. Leaning back against the wall with her gunpla nearby she would would break protocol just for a moment after this fight she thought a battle between one of those two would be to good to pass up. Though seeing as she was going to be entering a battle she quickly slipped on her red Zaft jacket that with the FAITH pin on it. it was something she did not battle without. She than quickly brushed her hair back since it was getting in her eyes. This battle would be one to remember thats for sure hopefully she could nab a battle between one of the two after they finished it might prove interesting to say the least.

Diane Law - RED HOT Her brow furrowed at the comment of the Pretty Bear Guy. Only amateurs went after baby Gunplas like that and if he had known of her moniker than he would had been smarter. But of course she had long left that behind, only fanatics remembered her face now. Her golden eyes faded after the comment but she was impressed with the The O build. It was nicely made, it showed the guy's experience but not his love. She had to teach Thomas about that as well. She straightened herself up and smiled fairly at the youth. "I'm more of a Char Aznable type of girl myself but the Pretty Bear Guy build is cute. Let me ask you a question while I have ya, have you seen a blue haired guy, about this tall, slim?" She needed to find him so she meet with the Principle, knowing him he was off Gunpla battling somewhere.
