Characters of the same faction will initially meet up with one another. Though the two groups will meet eventually. That, and you are always free to split off of the main group if you so desire.

As a side note, a certain important Luminite NPC really, REALLY hates curses. So, as long as Mastrix needs to actually learn to use her very advanced equipment, it can be powerful. After all, just because she found it, it doesn't mean she knows how they were used. Alright deal.

One of the things I forgot to mention in the first post, which I can't edit anymore. There are two types of coins. Golden ones, naturally, are the most valuable and called sovereigns (gee how original), silver coins are just that, silvers. One sovereign is worth 100 silvers (why try to reinvent the bike?). For one sovereign, you can eat lavishly for a week, or if you don't want anything fancy, you would have enough money to last a month. For ten, you can buy a horse which is a huge luxury. The mysterious employer will offer quite a bit more than that. Rumor goes that he will pay 25 sovereigns for the job.

I'd also like to tweak my charcter. He uses a sword, a [Souba](http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Souba).

Laue I have a question before I post: Is the Paladin group that is being formed going to just be a small squad consisting of the player-characters? Or will it also include NPC recruits among the ranks?

WoW. Reading Mastrix of the Scar's personality an idea shot me in the back of the head. Where it says _"Her world is that of hate and despise"_ Then by definition of Ordore's Purgatory (To put any hate that's in the area of 500 meters into a target, causing pain, suffering, paralysis etc.) Just being around her would make this power invincible (Not literately) But yeah, being near her and using her hate and putting it into other people. WoW. Sorry, just wanted to throw it out there

Oooh trust me, some powers your characters have will really greatly change some things. A little early spoiler: Grinnoc's second in command despises any type of curses. He's usually calm, reserved and simply cool. Try to use a curse with him nearby, and that will send him into a rampage. Which pretty much removes the collateral damage consideration when considering what to do next. And under normal circumstances, not causing extreme collateral damage is his main worry during combat. But he will only be introduced/relevant later on anyway.
