"Right right." Hiro agreed on the last statement his friend made. "And I think I have a few of those I stopped using. So you can take 'em from my place." He said, before their numbers were called. He'd already paid so all they had to do was pick up the food. They didn't call it fast food for nothing. Maybe not the healthiest, but it wasn't like they ate it everyday or anything. "Let's go. We can hang out and relax back at my place."

Grabbing his food, Jake nods in agreement and leads the way out. As they walk, he rests his hands behind his head and looks up at the sky. "So Hiro, be honest with me. What do you think of the research my dad and his team are doing? You know, the EM stuff." Jake and Blade had taken to listening to the undertone of hushed conversations during the time between periods of class and a lot of kids weren't happy about it, especially the other battlers. It was going to force them into starting over. "And don't spare my feelings because of my dad. I want to know what you think."

Hiro looked at Jake for a moment and then sighed. "Honestly?" He took a deep breath. "It's dangerous. It could be revolutionary, but only IF it works. And if it doesn't it could send us back so many technological years. We could lose our navi's. Our friends. Our PETs. Lets not forget about the lives that could be lost or ruined. Years of advancement could go down the drain." He rambled a bit about the consequences. "And all in all, I think they're using your dad. I mean if something screws up they can always blame the lead scientist. And if ANYTHING about his past is known that can be used too." He glanced at Jake again. He told Hiro not to spare his feelings and he wasn't but he was still worried Jake would get upset.

"Overall, I think it was a stupid choice to accept the job, even though i'm happy he got the opportunity. I also think he should have better weighed the consequences." He was referring to the terrorist attacks of late. "His life could be in danger. And where would that leave you?" He finally stopped a bit winded. "The project makes me worry. And even though I know risks must be made, sometimes you gotta think about height of risk and whether or not it will actually be worth it in the end."
