### Water, Earth, Fire, Air.
---
The avatar, master of all four elements, has rose and fell with the world like a tide. Avatar Korra fell nearly two hundred years ago, died saving the land once more from those who wished for chaos or order, and the avatar after her, a handsome man named Wan, died peacefully in his sleep, leaving behind an era of prosperity and hope for everyone.
Or... So he thought. The nations were swelling with power and knowledge. Computers were born first, allowing the lands to discover whatever they were unaware of, and then phones, better cars, television, guns. The time of industry was upon the land, and from it new technology sprung one after another, as well as a splurge of pollution. Future Industries lead the nations into a time of lights and electricity, but at what cost? Cities grew into havens for the homeless and killers, small villages became working towns, full of comfortable houses and the common middle class citizen. The change was thought to be good, but was it really?
Humans strive for knowledge, almost aggressively so, and soon, whispers of inhumane experiments began to fill the streets. Benders have gone missing, and the new leaders of the Southern Tribe, Future Industries, and Republic City have caused a bit of suspicion in the communities. Unknown to the rest of the world, a dark group called "The Seekers" has begun to stir. Their current plan is unknown, but those who know of them know it can't be anything good. We're here to uncover their secrets, as well as save the missing Avatar and the rest of the world if needed.
Who are we? Just call us The Jiyū

Things to Know: WIP
The Jiyū - The freedom fighters who are going out of their way to save the world before it is too late. Centered in Republic City, the Jiyū's main headquarters is an old, ooold apartment building, run by Tai-Mei. The landowner also doubles as the leader of the Jiyū, and she is appointed as head for a reason. Tai-Mei disguises the Jiyū's base as an apartment building, and many of the members live in the rooms without pay (though there are many civilians that live there as well). The apartment [building's](https://41.media.tumblr.com/fddc819b2611c96a4e99162d850a2b6a/tumblr_n46zioucqC1qai03no8_1280.jpg) alias is "Green Heights".
The Seekers - The little known threat to the nations. Supposedly, many of the world leaders are apart of this clan (or, at leats thats how the rumors go), and they seem to have a very devious plot. The possible kidnappers of the Avatar and many other benders. They seem to have some influence over Future Industries.

**Nations:** WIP
Water Tribe:
The ever-winter of the two poles still are a major part of the Tribes lives. Motorboats and roads have recent plagued the white landscape with black, and pollution is a growing threat. Under new leadership, the Southern Tribe has been the center of suspicion for some time now.
North:
Located at the North Pole, the Northern Water Tribe city is huge and multi-tiered, built into the icy landscape. Looming over the city are giant ice cliffs from which it was originally built. The city rests on the shores of the Northern Sea, and behind it is an enormous frozen tundra. The city of ice has grown exponentially in the past few decades. Buildings scrape the sky with metal-infused ice, allowing for more people to gather and live in the city, and lights gleam blue and purple from within the rooms of scholars or scientists. The chieftain's home remains at the top of the ring, a large, white-blue manor where people come and go as they please. Technology is mostly seen in the center if the city, where glowing billboards and gleaming store fronts gather around a paved town square.
Powered by waterbending, gondolas are used to navigate the city's expansive system of canals. Roads have since been placed next to these canals, allowing for easier travel for non-bending citizens. The sewer system of the city is extremely advanced and expansive, making for an easy hiding place for many of the homeless that line the city streets. Since the election of Chieftain Igoo, the people of the Norther Tribe have begun to loose their connection to the spirits. The Spirit Oasis has since been lost to the mortals after a horrible avalanche, burying the cave in thick snow, and the spirits in the Spirit Wilds have begun to show up less and less as the weeks pass on.
The tier system works much like the Ba Sing Se walls used to. The lowest tier is where the poor gather, the Slums. The second tier is the middle class, and the third the high class. The final tier is where the chieftain lives, completing the tier and the class system.
South:
The Southern Water Tribe has bloomed since the addition of technology. Buildings have grown taller, made of wood and stone and snow, and the addition roads have allowed travel to be easier. The center of the city is where festivals are usually held, and colorful billboards and lights line the tall buildings with energy. The chieftain's home sits at the top of a snowy hill, a relatively big house where many town meetings are held. A road has been paved toward the spirit portal, allowing easy travel to the spirit world and, if not for the North's forgetfulness of the spirits, the Northern Tribe.
Foggy Swamp:
Not much has changed, they still live in huts, but have introduced some helpful tech into their life. No electricity, no plumbing, only swamp.
Earth Kingdom:
The entirety of the Earth Kingdom has shifted towards technology. Paved roads and cars zoom through the mountainous landscape, and the glow of small cities can be seen from almost every hill top. There have been some rumors surrounding Ba Sing Se, little whispers that tell of the Dai Li's return.
Ba Sing Se:
Ever since the collapse of the walls during Korra's era, Ba Song Se has never been the same. The class system has begun to fall apart once more, with the outer part of the city returning to a slums-like state, while the middle of the city has been almost completely torn down to welcome in the "president's" new home. Skyscrapers claim the air, and smog surrounds the large city in a massive cloud. Many of the buildings are made of complete metal, with stone for architectural touches, and smaller, slum-based homes are almost strictly sheet-metal made.
Roads have been paved and cars rush through the richer parts f the city. The city square is huge and full of gleaming lights and storefronts. Alleyways are considered a death sentence, and odd people dresses in black wander almost every street corner. The catacombs beneath the city have been left untouched, but those who attempt to go down into them have never returned.
Fire Nation:
Pollution is rampant in the Fire Nation.Smog coves most of the land, and many of the forests and pastures have since died because of this horrid fog. Cites are huge and sweltering with people and power. The new Fire Lord leads her nation benevolently, and she is a very well-liked figure.
