Personality: Jason is a very sweet and shy boy. he loves to see people happy, doesn't like to fight, and has trouble with confrontation, and is always worried about not being able to live up to his father's legacy. Seems like it would be a problem for someone in his position right? Well, it is. That's why his quite eccentric father came up with an idea so crazy...it just might work; he had his son hypnotized to completely change his personality whenever he put on a pair of glasses.
Glasses Jason lacks the kindness of his normal personality, having been described as cold, distant, and uncaring. While this isn't too far off, it's also not quite right; Glasses-Jason simply doesn't allow his emotions to get in the way of his judgment. That being said, he does still have a soft spot for anyone that he's close to, so he's not as detached from his emotions as he would like to be
History (real): The American people were suffering from high gas inflation because of the middle west. OPEC charged the U.S insane prices for it's oil. This all ended when one rather eccentric, yet highly charismatic man managed to start up a large company to get at all that oil hidden under the American people's feet. He somehow managed to convince the bureaucrats not to block development. Not only that, but a friend of his named David Yost had managed to find a way to get at the oil in rather fragile ecosystems without causing them any real harm, something that won them the support of the Green Party. This man's name is Arthur St. John, and he is Austin's father
Because of his social status, he found it practically impossible to make friends. This led to him having a very lonely childhood. His father decided to fix this issue in his own special way; hypnosis. While this didn't do a thing to solve the problem, it did give young Austin a controllable second personality, which would allow him to function once he inherited the company.
At first, Arthur was against sending his son to school at a place as far away as Outer Reach, so young Austin was home-schooled. However something happened that forced his hand. One day at the family's private beach, a terrorist group formed of members born in Kuwait attacked, taking Austin hostage. They demanded several billion dollars, and a helicopter in exchange for his safe release. Arthur however, quickly realized that they had no intention of giving his son back, even if he gave into his demands...so he decided to take a third option. What many people didn't know about Arthur, was that he was a Navy SEAL veteran (which was one of things that helped him cut past the red tape to start up his company), which meant that he was far from a defenseless CEO. Because of this, he was able to go Liam Neeson on them, slowly picking them off one by one with his trusty handgun to save his son. While the official investigation didn't turn up anything, he suspected that they had been sent by OPEC as either some sort of revenge for stealing America as a customer, or to harm his company. Either way, he realized it wasn't safe for his son out in the open. Thus he consented to send him to Outer Reach
Talents: His love of meat and sweets are apparent by his skill at a grill and an oven. Also, because of his dad, he has plenty of experience with firearms, and has a really good aim for someone his age
Other: The glasses he wears don't punctually have lens in them, just normal glass that looks like lens'
Three Random Words: It's Morphin Time
