1st idea. 5 kids develop powers at the forefront of the whole conduit business. So there is no d.u.p yet and we have to come to terms with our morals and fight with each other and at times even against each other. Very open. Characters shape this. 2nd. 5 kids again but this time we are going to be captured by the d.u.p put through testing and come to serve as a soldier of the d.u.p possibly in some special forces unit. Characters can choose to leave the d.u.p and try to fight the other side of the war.

I like this idea and I'm leaning towards the second one because I sense more plot-development from it. Hmm, interest is grabbed but I'm not sure if it'll be kept.

Same here. I'd love to a Infamous RP since i have some character i've been needing to flesh out, plus practicing writing in general. I'll need more details before I can honestly say my interest will last beyond the concept of Infamous. Also not to call dibs, but the character i had in mind will be a cloth conduit so stripperism will ensue. No joke though it's either gonna be her or plastic boy.

I honestly just started thinking about this one so I don't have much. But there would be 2 primary parts that I can currently think of, being prisoners forced to display and test and push our powers living together in curdon day(or even a different facility. Then joining the ranks of the DUP and capturing conduits. At this point numerous things could happen. The group could split and begin to fight each other. Characters could try to change what the DUP is. For a larger plot, we could get caught in the weaponization of conduits by the government. International war maybe breaking out. This is all brainstorming. Any ideas you may have yourselves?

A little more into it now. Would this follow the canon story closely? and if so how close and where and when will it occur in relation to the source material. As for the group itself how will they function exactly? You said special forces unit in the first post so there are two ways i interpret that. The first is your standard mission per mission group wherein they go to a "hot" zone and capture conduits at large, retrieve them, and then move onto another mission. The other being is that they live in a central region, say Portland, and act as a form of DUP police form/conduit special unit tasked with both protecting the city from conduit, criminals, and general anarchy and chaos. Personally i'd prefer the latter seeing as there is a more stable environment to play with. I think it would also allow the characters, depending on which side they'll fight on, to change the flow of power more if they had a consistent playground to work with.

Also I think I can actually do both ideas you have. We could be focused in one area, but its also possible to be called to far off cities to help catch these at large conduits, on occasion. I'm thinking for an age limit 16 at the youngest. I may choose to forbid certain powers that the group considers op. I'll allow people to create the occasional minor antagonist/conduit on the run. With the DUP present we can either do before the fall of Augustine or after. I do think after would work, following the Delsin's evil storyline so she's dead and he is at large with Fetch and Eugene. The DUP has been given more funding than ever under its new command of "currently unnamed conduit" also because the actions of delsin feeding into the fear of the general public. Its possible we could run into them or they may pop up later. But as for now it would minimal appearances, generally news casts, DUP officers talking about Seattle and etc.

Do we really have to go with the Evil Delsin route? I'm all for us being DUP conduits, but the whole Delsin and co being bad guys leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Can we at least have it so that in the eyes of the public they're evil, but still the good guys, basically Hero With Bad Publicity.

Nice twist, we're not the Heroes, we're the "possible" villains.
