(Being unable to switch off, and subsequently sometimes being unable to fall asleep, is a pain in the ass.)

(Yeah, one of my big issues is that it's virtually impossible for me to switch off. That's why I always seem on edge. No matter what I do, I just can't "relax", so it really does make going to sleep a huge issue sometimes. I don't really think I have legit insomnia or anything, because I sleep just fine once I can get passed the initial "stop thinking" phase. Though, to be fair, due to a weird health condition I have I don't really feel rested after sleeping. Basically part of that weird health conditions (doctors have no idea what it is, friends think it's fibromyalgia) includes chronic fatigue syndrome.)

@Shoryu Magami damn! Im sort of that way. I have sleep apnea. So...I don't breathe as well when I sleep on my back and my symptom is fatigue mentally and physically. My mind is constantly going so I sometimes cant think straight and would need to make myself relax. Im not on the edge, I actually laidback but I just don't sleep much because of how active I am mentally. Especially when I'm RPing late at night. I damn sure won't sleep then.

(Ah, right. Yeah, I understand the whole physical and mental fatigue thing completely. I suppose look up fibromyalgia sometime. We're not sure if I have it, but I have a lot of the symptoms (unexplained pains pretty much all over and severe joint/muscle issues, constant nausea and fatigue, cognitive dysfunction problems, to name just a few). I also had a blocked nose until I had an operate for it a few years ago, so basically one of my nostrils was completely clogged up by cartilage and it caused me to go for roughly 30 years with severe oxygen deprivation, so definitely understand how not being able to breathe properly can cause you to have trouble focusing.)

Jeez man. Sounds near life threatening and straight annoying. Have you been under treatment for most of that stuff?

I was diagnosed with a serious case of insomnia in which I required medication to force myself to sleep, simply because my brain refused to go to sleep normally regardless of your "de-stress" exercises or whatever. It took me years to re-adjust my sleeping habit, but now it's going haywire again due to school projects, exams and other RL woes. :/
