Still open because I think we are losing a little steam however... I want a post that brings you up to speed and make it a hefty one please :)
I think this is still open. Go ahead and make a character. Just remember, no pendulums . . .What?
. . . And no CXyz's.What?
Bastion and his Water Dragon?Yeah. That mother-fucker is badass.
Of all of those, I'd say Cyber Dragons would be your best bet in beating people down here. Cyber Dragon Nova and Cyber Dragon Infinity, anybody?Oh really? Well I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh noob. Well, a re-noob since it's been so long. I stopped paying attention once 5Ds came around. Bikes? No thanks. Googled again. Those Cyber Dragon cards are pretty legit. Cyber Dragon Nova (2 Level 5 Machine-Type Monsters) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Cyber Dragon" in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can banish 1 "Cyber Dragon" from your hand or face-up from your Monster Card Zone; this card gains 2100 ATK until the End Phase. If this card in your possession is sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Machine-Type Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Thoughts: I'm liking that last effect. Say someone uses, I don't know, Man-Eater Bug's special flip effect. By doing that I can Special Summon Cyber End Dragon if it's in my Extra Deck. Not bad. Cyber Dragon Infinity (3 Level 6 Machine-Type Monsters with LIGHT Attribute) You can also Xyz Summon "Cyber Dragon Infinity" once per turn by using a "Cyber Dragon Nova" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can target 1 other face-up Attack Position monster on the field; attach it to this card as a face-up Xyz Material. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. Thoughts: I'm going to forget these effects IC. I just know I will. Are you certain my character has no chance without a Cyber Dragon deck?
Er... Did I miss something here? You can Machine Dupe core because it counts as Cyber Dragon on the field/grave, and since it has <500 atk you can Machine Dupe it to get two of the actual thing out on the field.I've used that tactic before, trying to power bond a Cyber End Dragon.
