[IC] Fourth Dimension

One hour after official sign in.

Most guests have arrived at the Fourth Dimensional 48th Anniversary Convention, located at the Tech of Dimensional Learning Center, Tokyo Japan. It is one hour after sign in, and the festivities are about to begin! Police have been casually stationed throughout the convention, mostly outdoors, though some indoors, just to keep people calm and safe. The building is a massive skyscraper, reaching five hundred meters high in the sky! It is mostly made of glass, though has been known to be very stable and secure. The bottom floor is about three stories high itself, making for a grand entrance into the building. The glass is crystal clear, and there are many doors leading in and out of the building on the front face. There are giant steps leading up, with a big courtyard just before them, with a fountain, trees, and several benches. Indoors, on the bottom floor where the convention is being held, it is mostly open. It is bright, clean, and sparkling new. There are stands set up, with stages, indoor tents, and crowds as far as the eye could see. Each stage had different speakers from different parts of the company, showing off inventions, or discussing the new discoveries that have come of the Fourth Dimension. There was a big stage in the center of the building, but there were security guards and a giant screen held up to stop anyone from seeing the grand finale.

Convention Stand One. A new technology has been invented.

"Thanks to the new discoveries with the Fourth Dimension, we have discovered new technologies never before possible! This object my friend holds here, is a new object, capable of movement throughout the fourth dimension. It is extremely large, though most of you see it as a small cube in my friend's hand here. He can hold it with a glove you see him wearing, as well as manipulate it with his other hand. Watch as he uses his other hand to change the shape of the cube, into virtually anything he likes!" a man said from atop the stage. He stood there with an assistant at his side, and several guards at the back of the stage standing at attention. The man's assistant, holding the cube, pulled at it with his other hand, bending it into a bigger rectangle. He then pulled out several legs, touching the floor on plates that looked similar to is gloves. He then released the cube, now a long rectangle standing on legs. He grabbed one end of it, and started bending it throughout the entire stage, until it was like a long miniature roller coaster, encircling the men on the stage. "With this new technology, construction workers will be able to build buildings much quicker, and cheaper than ever before! These cubes do have a limited size, though they can be made to enormous proportions! We have been working on a much more compact version, capable of working mechanically. It is able to transport objects from the ground, into the air high above it, with less energy used to bring it up! With this new law of physics, we are able to create infinite energy, reducing costs of electricity, and generating a free source of fuel for years to come!" the man continued on with his speech, while the assistant started reforming the cube back into it's original form. The crowd started to clap, cheering on as the assistant finished putting away the cube, and the man speaking bowed a few times. More talk continued, mostly about numbers, estimates on when the technology will be complete and safe, and when people will be able to buy them as regular household items.

Convention Stand Two. An explination on the Fourth Dimension.

"Ludwig Schlafli is an inspiration to all of us here at Tech of Dimensional Learning. A lot of his theories and ideas have proven to be truthful, and extremely useful in explaining the Fourth Dimension to young students. He would explain this theory, by simply drawing a line. This line was the first dimension. Then, he would draw three more lines, making it a square, which is the second dimension. The third dimension would then be a full cube, something more similar to what we see everyday, as opposed to a two dimensional drawing. Now, a fourth dimensional object would be similar to a third dimensional object, except it would have two more directions. Objects with four dimensions would be capable of bending through space, appearing to appear and disappear through our third dimension." "It is a very hard concept to those who cannot see it, but to those of us who now can, it is more clear than ever before. Try explaining the third dimension to a second dimensional being. Hard, right? No, not really. You just point to it! See? It's there! Easy! The same thing for the fourth dimension. Once you can see it, hear it, smell it, taste it, touch it... it becomes there forever! You never forget it, as it becomes an everyday part of your life. Those of you that have seen it, explain it to your friends! Those of you who can hear it, explain that as well. All of you, explain your own experiences through your own words to your friends. Educate the world in this new interesting technology!"

Convention Stand Three. Sound device, used for demolition of buildings.

"This new device allows us to manipulate sound through the Fourth Dimension. Those capable of hearing in the Fourth Dimension have similar abilities, but this new device is much more powerful and accurate. It has been tested on small buildings, and is fully capable of holding a entire collapse with precision control. It might be possible in the future for this technology to disassemble buildings, piece by piece, to save time in reconstruction and reuse of these demolished parts!"

[Unraveller]

"Excuse me! Pardon me! Very sorry." A sea of faces, packed together like a can of tuna, if only he could move in fourth dimensional space! A man that could be at the very least be described as, "rather large" weaves his way through a crowd of gibbering people near insectoid in comparison. He attempts to be as polite and careful as he can, though with such a stature in such a tiny space it takes an unearthly form of motor control to not bump into anyone along the way. Already late, the final circus performance ended on a great note, many times have they visited Japan, always with a warm reception. Though it is a hard goodbye for all the performers, Kristof might have taken it the worst. However he had run out of tears long ago, today that might change, for this night would be full of reminders of the man's lost love. A vaguely familiar face comes to the attention of the large Germanic man as he shuffles through the crowd. "Ah! Mister Brandt!" A young Japanese doctor catches Kristof's attention, "Are you both adapting to your new found senses?" Of course, this was the man who preformed the procedure on both he and his wife. Without being able to mouth a response the doctor chimes in again, "Where, is the lovely ringleader anyway?" This promotes a sullen expression upon Kristof's face, "She won't be coming this year, I'm afraid she may never again." And with such a brisk response in slightly broken Japanese the large man again heads further to the front of the crowd so that he may pay his full attention, in order to not miss everything. Sure he doesn't understand every word, but since his enhancements Kristof and his wife have always wanted to learn more about the fourth dimension, too bad he had to give her ticket away.

[The One]

Blade Slade Honobi Mitsuhide Honobi walked slowly, his hat faced down over his eye, as his long hair covered his over eye, thus, completely covering his face. The large collar of his jacket covered his mouth, his sword neatly tucked away in the scabbard, he paid no attention to anything in particular, he was in a peaceful state of mind, completely calm and relaxed as he mysteriously stood motionless in the center. It was finally his time to sign in, he used his finger to lift up his hat slightly, then took a small pin, he pricked his finger, and signed his name in blood. Once he had signed in, he slowly walked past the guards, he stopped for a moment, staring at them. They would be unable to see him staring, but, they'd feel his eyes, staring right at them. It only lasted for a moment, before he slowly began to walk in. Shela Shela was already inside, in fact, she was one of the first in, not because she was excited, but, she could find a good hiding spot, she would sit down in the shadows, and simply listen, which is exactly what she did, she just sat in the corner, her legs curled up to her body, holding her teddy tightly, listening. She was fascinated with the cube, but, she was too afraid to go up and as questions about it. She didn't want to bother anyone and get in their way. Slade and Blade had gotten bored, and was currently playing 'Star Wars' with real weapons. They found it fun to play, of course, Blade made them the weapons that they needed. Blade was the Sith, and Slade was the Jedi. Now, it was a battle to the death. They began fighting, sounds of battle could be heard as they screamed. "Die! Jedi have no place in this world! I will defeat you!" "The force is always with me, I cannot lose!" The two played happily, although, for anyone around, they might get a little worried, seeing two children with very dangerous weapons.

Rose had been looking forward to the Fourth Dimensional Convention now for mouths she had heard that they where going to revile some new demolition gear the night before she could barely sleep luckily for her ever since Rose was 10 she had only been sleeping at most 6 hours a night sometimes less when she stayed up a bit later to study for tests, this was because her farther woke her up at 6am every morning for hand to hand training and morning exercises so she was use to getting little to no sleep. Because of this Rose decided to get up at 5am as she couldn't sleep anyway she took spike for his morning walk practised her hand to hand on a fighting dummy did some studying got a shower and went to collage. but once their she found herself just staring at the clock though most of her classes just waiting to leave for the convention once all her classes had ended she headed home to get Spike who she always left in the house while she was at collage to stop anyone from braking in then she hoped on a train and headed strait for the convention. Once Rose had arrived at the building she was immediately impressed by the size and the design of the building from an engineering point of view it was a master piece. once she had arrived at the gate she told Spike to sit by the door and wait for her she gave him a quick pat on the head as she went inside. Once inside Rose took a look around looking for the Convention stand that had the new demolition gauntlets but as she did she noticed a muscular man having a brief convocation with what look like a DR of some kind, (Kristof) As well a men dressed in robes and a small amount of armour, (Honobi) although the strangest of all where the tree small children that seemed to be alone one was sitting in a dark corner, (Shela) the other two where playing with energy swords. (Slade and Blade) Rose decided to ignore them for now assuming security would take care of the kids she just walk past all of them wavering her way though the crowed with out saying a word and walking right past the other two convention stands heading right for convention stand three. once their she began to admire the craftsmanship of the gauntlets she then looked up to the one manning the desk and began talking to him about the mechanics of the devices.

Kurano Tanaka "Remember to study pages 114 through 160 tonight, as I will be quizzing you tomorrow. Sayounara." A bell blared into the halls and classes of Waseda University. The last classes of the day were through with, and a tired young man stood up to leave for a convention. "Hey, Kurano!" Someone shouted at him from the hallway. Once Kurano left his class, a freshmen college student waited to meet him. "I don't have time for another survey Takai. There's something important I need to be at right now for a class. The young man named Takai frowned, but asked a question out of curiosity. "You going to the convention? I wish I could come, but I've got these surveys I need people to fill out." Kurano gave in, feeling bad for the guy, a frown just didn't suit this normally happy friend's face. "Alright, but I'll need to do it while walking if that's alright." Takai nodded, and handed his pen and survey over to Kurano. "Alright, why are these questions so, personal?" Kurano stated, looking at all of the rather private answers. "It's for psychology. I need to survey people I know, and see if my version of them is close to what they're actually like." Takai said all of this with a rather innocent smile on his face. "Sounds more like you're going to post this online for the world to read. I'm, not interested anymore. Assignment or not, just tell her you were wrong about me. I really don't have time for this. I need to get to the convention for my own assignment." Kurano handed the paper and pen back to Takai, which he sadly accepted. Kurano shook his head, and muttered to himself. Trust me kid, I'm much more different than you think I am. Kurano shifted his pace into a brisk walk. The bullet train, Japan's greatest transportation machine. Kurano was able to get to the heart of Tokyo within two minutes on the speed machine. On the way out of the train, Kurano swiped his watch against a device on an exit door. It read his code, and immediately charged him 1,000 yen. "It's getting more expensive every month. Soon, I'll have to start walking back to my apartment." He hung his head, and stuck his hands deep into the pockets of his black and neat pants. Kurano reached the convention, which luckily for him, was always free come the time of the annual fourth dimensional convention. He pulled out a small notebook and pen from his back pocket and immediately started to take notes of the situation. Kurano then inserted a pair of earplugs into each of his ears to block out most of the sound. Tightly crowded, easy for pickpockets. Free convention stands, possibility of theft. He was intended to keep track of any and all chances of crime. This would supposedly teach him 'observational' skills, but instead ended up teaching him why not to become a detective. He had no time to listen about what wonderful inventions were coming up. He had to write, and pace around, and write some more. Every once in a while, Kurano noted some fairly odd looking displays. Woman dressed in armor with a sword, possible murder intentions. Little children fighting with weapons, likely chance of indirect harm to others. He continued to note, walking and looking. Minami Shiroka There was supposed to be some really big event going on that day. Very celebrated in Tokyo, something having to do with the powers that everyone had. A small, and hopeful little girl, rushed into the convention the moment she heard about it. Free food, and maybe free stuff too! Minami thought to herself, as she gazed upon the waves of people walking around. She noticed someone with a rather large buffet table to themselves in a corner. She very cutely walked up and took a deep breath of the food in front of her. "Hello mister. You look really sad over here. Can I help?" The old man nodded, and allowed Minami to sit down. Minami only eyed the food, while the man did not take a single look at her. "Mister. Are you okay? Maybe you're grumpy all alone." The man now turned around on the table, clearly trying not to talk to her. "Please. I need food. I've only eaten stuff from the garbage for a week." The old man turned around to see big brown eyes, and a tear fall down her face. He grumbled for a moment, but relinquished a bowl of curry. "Thank you so much sir," Minami replied with a smile stretched across her face. A feeling of warmth grew within the man, as she voraciously chomped at all of the curry she could find. "Young lady. I am sorry for not giving you the food earlier. Here, as forgiveness." The man handed over the rest of his food, and left the table. I hope there's more people like him around here, Minami thought to herself, chowing down all of the food as quickly as she could.

Kassy Kassy had always attended the annual convention every year, always interested to learn more about the powers she had inherited from her parents. But now, thanks to her record, she wouldn't be able caught dead in the place, especially with all the cops around. This year was supposed to be big, with a secret invention announced at the end. There was also going to be discussions about the monsters, which interested Kassy quiet a bit since she had actually seen a fight between one and a cop once before. She wouldn't have escaped that day if it weren't for it... but she never knew what happened to the cop, as it looked like he didn't even know it was there for the longest time. She was now hiding nearby, sitting on the ledge of a building overlooking the convention. She had a small sandwich in her hands, eating it slowly as it was the only food she had managed to gather in awhile. She hated stealing it off of other people. But she had to. She took the second bite of the sandwich she had all night... before slipping and dropping it off the side. She caught herself, and avoided going over the edge, but she was not without food, and starving. Great. Great! Of course this would happen... and with the convention going on, there isn't going to be anything else open! she yelled at herself. She was now standing and pacing on the ledge she had climbed up to, not afraid that she might possibly fall. If I fall, who would care anyway? I wouldn't feel the pain either. She climbed down after making up her mind. She wanted food, but she wasn't willing to scrape it off the ground. She checked the windows of the few buildings around her, but they were all locked up and closed. The few she found open didn't even sell food. She came across a vending machine, but it didn't have food, it had toilet paper and toothbrushes. Nice combination. she laughed to herself. Her stomach rumbled, almost loud enough for the cops to hear. She thought harder for a little while longer... and decided... she was really hungry. She looked around her, taking note of the mostly emptiness. Most of the cops outside the building were hanging around in groups, distracted by one thing or another. Kassy, smiled. She was going to sneak right past them and get her food right from under their noses! Naoto "And then guess what!" Haruto screamed at the other cops and Naoto. He was in the middle of his story, reaching the climax of it all. He mentioned it twice already that night, not counting the times in the car. "Then you swooped down and caught her!" Naoto rolled his eyes. "No! Then one of those monster things came out of nowhere! It's like she summoned the beast on me. And guess what! I took it out. I shot the bloody thing, it didn't even see it coming!" he was ready to pull out his blaster, but decided it was better not to. "I have the scars to prove it!" he cried. "Didn't you say you shot it? Why would you have scars if you shot the thing?" Naoto caught Haruto in his cobweb of storytelling. "Well... I shot it... then it got a hold of me. That's better than most people have done! The military's used tanks to try and take these things out, they didn't get so close as a blow like I made!" Haruto fought back, trying to recover his honor. The other guys in the group laughed, and patted him on his back. "It's alright. You should be lucky you're still on the force, rather than brag about the encounter. For all you know the next one might end you." the others shot him down. Haruto sighed, kicking at the ground and remaining silent. Until the next batch of cops rolled out the front door to get some air. "Hey! Did I tell you the story where I shot one of those monster things!?" he yelled over, hopping over to explain it to them whether they've heard it or not. The other two cops disappeared inside, while Naoto stayed where he was. He finished his cup of cold coffee by tossing it over his shoulder, then tossing the empty can in a nearby trash bin. He whipped out his phone and checked it for any messages. None. He sighed, leaning up against the wall and begging for some action. Just at that moment, he eyed a woman approaching the building, wearing a robe with a hood over her face as she rushed for the doors away from the other cops. Naoto didn't know who it was, but she didn't look right moving as fast as she did, nor wearing what she was. He took another look at his phone, before depositing it and heading over to Haruto and the others. "And then-" he was going on... Naoto sighed, and pushed past them, deciding he could handle it himself. Kassy Upon entering the building, she noted some of the cops outside may have seen her, so she pushed her way through the crowds to get in farther and lose them. She was mostly hoping she wouldn't bump into anyone that recognized her. She wasn't priority one, so she felt pretty safe no one would recognize her. She continued inwards, examining each stand as she went by. She noticed one stand wasn't being attended, as the owner was busy talking to some customers right next door. Kassy walked up to it quickly, and snatched an object off the counter, depositing it into one of her pockets as she continued on her way.

[The One]

Honobi Mitsuhide Honobi walked on in and looked around, there was nothing that drew his interest, so, he slowly walked around, seeing a number of people. He stood around the conventions, listening to each of them, if he had to pick one, it would be the cube. He picked up the guarnlets, and then placed them down again. He wasn't one to just randomly talk, but, he noticed somebody talking to the owner, he studied her carefully, then closed his eyes for a moment as he began to speak. "From studying your patterns and interest, I take it you are a sounder user? Interesting......I do not see many of those around." He continued to hide his face with his hat as he spoke to her, there was nothing else to do, so, why not talk? Shela Shela continued to sit in the corner, hiding from everyone as she watched. She saw a few interesting people, mostly Kurano, Kristof and Rose. So, she spent her time watching them, she didn't want to bother them and get in their way, so she stayed where she was, just watching the three carefully. Slade, Blade and Honobi The two continued to play, although, it was getting more dangerous, as Slade began walking back, defending himself as he did. Then, Blade went to attack, and Slade quickly moved out the way, cutting a table in half. Some people began to scream in terror, but they didn't care, they just laughed and continued to play with their dangerous weapons. Although as they played, they were pushing each other back more and more, until eventually, they stood right next to Rose and Honobi. Blade was more aggressive than Slade, more stronger, Slade was having trouble pushing him back. At this point, it was obvious Slade was losing. The guy who owned the convention store stood back, nervous that the two kids might kill somebody. Honobi just watched, unworried, he shrugged and then turned back to her, ignoring the two children.

Rose continued to talk to the store owner as he explained that the gauntlets can produce sound waves strong enough to collapse a building as well as gives the user full control over the frequency of the sound they produce but not only that they could interfere with and manipulate other sound waves a well. Rose realised the endless possibilities for them as well as the one flaw only someone who could successfully identify the pitch of their targets could bring out their full potential. Rose also knew for anyone who could identify the pitch's they could be used for much more then just demolishing buildings they could be used to replicate any sound perfectly, inter with other sound waves effecting what people hear and course mass destruction they could be extremely dangerous if they ever fell into the wrong hands. while Rose was talking to the sore owner she was interrupted by Honobi "impressive I assume you have the gift of 4D sight as their was not enough clews to figure that out for anyone with out it anyway my names Rose may I ask what is yours." anyone who listened to her would be able to tell she has an English accent although she spoke perfect Japanese. while they where talking she noticed a young girl in a robe and hood walk past them but then the twins began to make more noise. Rose noticed them destroy a table as they moved closer to them she quickly moved to protect the gauntlets. That is when she noticed they had been stolen she looked back to Honobi "I am sorry to be rude but I have to go find a thieve" Rose then began to walk away as she looked around for the girl but their was to many people and she just couldn't see her that's when she realised she was looking with her eyes when she should be looking with her ears. Rose knew the gauntlets where switched on and she knew the sound of there power core this was a sound no one would be able to pick up on unless they had the 4D sound ability. Rose closed her eyes and began to listen for the gauntlets she soon picked up on what sounded like a low pitched humming Rose opened her eyes and looked in the direction the sound was coming from she then noticed the back of the girls head recognising the colour of the hood and the fact that's where the gauntlets where she had no doubt in her mind that that girl stole them. she quickly began to chase her. Rose walked as fast as she could as she knew if she ran she would drew to much attention to herself as she waved though the crowd she began to catch up with the girl.

Naoto Naoto walked as fast as he could into the building, pushing through the crowds, scanning whole groups of people, and eyeing conversations being had. He noticed a small commotion up ahead, with two kids coming with with weapons, fighting to what seemed to be the death, and then some woman chasing after the person Naoto had seen enter the building just moments before. He had to make a decision right away. Follow after the two people, or stop the kids from fighting. The choice wasn't too hard of one to make... he didn't know who he was after, but he did know the kids might kill someone if they're not stopped. "Hey! Put those down right now, you are not allowed to play with dangerous weapons like that in here!" Naoto ran up towards the kids, attempting to get between them without getting hurt. He felt sad, knowing he was ready to pull out his gun if he had to, but two kids fighting with weapons is not something normal, and must be dealt with extreme force if necessary. He turned his attention for a short moment after the two women fleeing, which he didn't expect would be dangerous... the two kids might send an attack on him now that he was between them. Kassy Kassy had expected someone to follow after her, though, she had no way of knowing that someone would actually attempt to be quiet as opposed to running after her and yelling for her to stop. She was still looking around for someone that was following her, using her energy to feel fast movements as well, but she couldn't spot anyone. She had no idea she was being followed. Kassy kept moving her way through the crowds, trying to find some tent area with possible food. There didn't seem to be any designated areas to eat at, simply scattered all throughout the place. She turned as she walked, eye everything she could. As she had turned halfway around, she noticed where she had came from, seeing a commotion going on now. That's good. Now they might not even notice I took it. she thought to herself with a smile. She eyed one woman seeming to be heading in her direction, almost straight for her. She hmm'd to herself, eyeing her a little longer to see if she would keep following. If she did, then Kassy would surely turn and run. If not then she didn't need to make a scene.

[Unraveller]

"Excuse me young lady." Almost as if from nowhere, perhaps because her attentions where elsewhere, she hadn't seen him coming, a large and bulky man was leaning downward toward the cloaked Kassy. He spoke again this time with a thick hand placed upon her shoulder, "I'm looking for some grub, I haven't eaten for quite a while today." It was dreadfully obvious that he was non-native to Japan, his accent was broken yet the important parts were still understandable. The large man's eyes were shut and the expressionite smile upon his face gleaned a sense of warmness and safety. The man chuckled a bit as the young woman met his gaze, "There are far too many lingering scents for me to get a bead on the delicious morsels that I know I smell." As Kristof opened his eyes to glance at the woman before him they grew wider, and with a slight shudder he spoke "You, you remind me of someone." pondering to himself that if there are any gods in this world, they are far too cruel. But with a rumble in his stomach Kristof continued his line of inquiry, hoping not to stir any discontent in the fact that he might be acting rude by continuing on about things that the stranger in front of him did not understand or knew of.

[The One]

Honobi Mitsuhide Honobi watched as Rose left to catch the thief, then turned to the twins, there was nothing for him to do now, and he new the cops would deal with them, and within a few minutes, they did. He stepped back and just sat down for now as he waited for something interesting to happen. Slade and Blade Slade and Blade looked to the man as he shouted at them. They giggled happily and turned to him. It was Blade that stepped forward, placing the lightsaber away for now. "My name is Blade, don't worry, I won't kill too many people." Slade stepped forward, looking up to the man and spoke next. "My name is Slade, don't worry, I will try and defeat my evil brother before any harm is done." The two smiled happily, then, looked to each other.

Kassy Kassy almost jumped when the a man tapped her shoulder and began speaking to her. She almost spun around and hit whoever it was, but decided against it. She turned to face him, lifting his hand off her shoulder slowly as she did so. He asked her if she happened know know where there was food, at which mention her stomach growled in union with his words. He then went on, explaining why he couldn't find any... then mentioned he might have known her. Kassy held back her shock for as long as she could, trying to think of what to say to avoid being caught. "Um... yes, I'm looking for food too." she said very plainly and quickly. Dang it! I probably shouldn't have mentioned that. Now I can't get away from him! "I don't think you know me though. I just have one of those faces!" she giggled, moving her hands into the air to add distraction away from her face. She then quickly turned in one direction she thought might have food, and grabbed the mans shoulder with one of her hands, while pointing off in the direction with her other hand. "We can try looking over there." she said, trying to avoid eye contact at this point. She tried looking around for the person she had possibly thought was following her, but didn't dare try to make it obvious. She tried to make it look like she was looking for more options.... She couldn't find her anymore. The crowds were too thick. She may be on top of them any moment now, so Kassy had to move quick if she really was being followed. She then tried to pull along the giant man with her as she walked off in the direction she had pointed off in originally. "So, tell me about yourself. What brings you to the convention? And what's your name?" she tried asking the man she was with, hoping to bring the heat off of her. If only I could control thoughts. Then again, I wouldn't be in trouble with the police anymore either. "Do you have a family here? It doesn't sound like you're from Japan." she added quickly in afterwards. She was trying to speak as fast as she could in an attempt to confuse the man. He didn't seem to speak very well, so fast speaking might offset him enough to forget about who she is. Naoto "I'm sorry kids, but you're going to have to hand over those weapons. I can return them to you after I have a word with your parents. It's too dangerous to be playing with them in such a thick crowd tonight." he said, turning his attention to the two kids now. "Where are your parents, by the way? You shouldn't be here all by yourself." he then asked. What kind of parents would let two children own real swords, and possibly kill each other with them anyway?

While Kristof was glad to have found someone with a similar goal, the consumption of yummy confections and other delightful snacks, he was a bit taken aback by her fast paced attitude. Perhaps she was in a rush? Or just famished as he was, even while he was being dragged along by the petite in comparison woman he attempted to pay full attention, not wanting to miss out on the important parts. It seemed as if they were barreling through the crowds now as the larger man tried to hold on to his kidnapper of sorts. She must really be hungry! Kristof thought to himself, becoming distracted by his own errant ideas. Ah, well, he would act in no less of a way than her, one who eats with gusto is the one who enjoys life most, at least, that is something his mother always used to say. His name! The young stranger had asked for it! With a small amount of stuttering he stopped the girl so that he may bow, keeping her in an open aisle for but a moment to respond to her earlier question, "I am Kristof Brandt, perhaps you've seen my performance in the circus that just blew into Tokyo." Kristof stifles a tear that does not seem at home for such a person, "Unfortunately, tonight was the last act." Similarly recalling that she prodded further he continued, "I had originally planned here on coming with my wife, to this convention, just as we had done last year. I still can't believe I let her convince me to get the procedure." He trails off, picking up some speed again as the headed in some arbitrary direction on the hunt for eats. "What about you then? What shall I call you?" He flashes a warm smile at the briskly moving girl who had been avoiding any gaze towards the man.

Kurano Tanaka Kurano's face lit up when he saw a commotion arising. He was tired of writing up mundane things. He surveyed the situation, crowds of people, and wrote down whatever he could. Large commotion going on, extreme chance of thievery. Police force being incompetent as usual. He searched more for signs of any sort, and noted that whatever was supposed to be on display at stand #3 was now gone. Thievery theory proven. This would be so much easier if I had the power of sight. After sweeping across things one last time, he saw that the enormous man from before was now being escorted by a rather shifty looking person in a cloak. Possible suspects. Inform officers immediately so that they can be even more incompetent than usual. He roughly sketched the cloak and a muscular man, and looked to find some sort of officer in the premise. He noted one near those children, talking to them. Perhaps this one wasn't as bad as the rest. Kurano approached the officer from behind. It looked like a crowd of people were circled around the man, as they waited for him to finish with the children. Kurano cleared his throat, and politely asked, "I'm sorry to be bothering you, officer, but it looks like there is a robbery in progress. If you cannot seem to deal with it, then why not call for backup? I do realize that you are busy with what's going on right now." Kurano attempted to be as polite as possible, seeing that the officer was in a fairly stressful situation. Minami Shiroka Minami was still sat at the table, satisfied with her meal. She watched as something was happening, but it didn't bother her. Minami still had a few scraps left over that she started placing into a pouch. She wondered what was going on, thinking that maybe they were showing off something grand and amazing. She was missing out on it. Minami got up from her table, and wandered towards the sounds of panicked people. She saw what looked like almost a tower of a man poking over people farther away. Minami was filled with curiosity, but needed to know what was going on where everyone was. She jumped up and down, trying to get a clear view of what was going on. She then tugged on the clothes of someone close to her. "Can you lift me up, please?" The person simply ignored her as she tried to get a better look.

As Rose followed Kassy keeping a close eye on her she noticed Kassy tune and look right at her. Rose quickly tuned and headed for convention stand two to make it look like she was just trying to find her way though the crowed just in case she was on to her. she discretely looked back to her to see if she watching her. Rose smiled when she noticed she was now distracted by a large man but she needed to be careful because if Kassy saw her following her again their would be no doubt that she was following her. Rose now moving a little slower ducking behind people in the crown to pervert Kassy from seeing her. The closer Rose got the more clearly she could hear the gauntlets. As Rose got closer she started to think that the two didn't know each other based on the fact Kassy looked nervous around him and they were talking more like pair strangers. Rose then had an idea of how to get the gauntlets back without making a seance. she had overheard that they where both looking for food and thought she could use that to separate them long enough to get the gauntlets back. Rose finely caught up to them and tapped Kassy on the shoulder "hay long time no see what has it been now about 3 years right how have you been?" Rose then tuned to Kristof "hay my names Rose I couldn't help but overhear you two are looking for food well I think you will find their is a buffet in the next room although I don't know how much food will be left. Just go straight though those doors and take the fist left me and my friend will catch up we have something we some catching up to do isn't that right" Just as she said isn't that right she looked right at Kassy and winked letting her know she knew what she had done.

Kassy "Jenica." Kassy said to the man, using one of her childhood's friends nicknames. "I'm sorry, I don't think I've seen any of your circus acts. That sounds interesting though, maybe you can explain it to me?" she said, trying to sound interested to keep him off track. But, everything changed when the fire nation attacked girl that had been following her walked up. "Hey! Long time no see, what has it been, three years, right? How have you been?" she asked Kassy quickly. Kassy was shocked, but hid it well. Whoever this was knew something. Friend or foe, Kassy wasn't sure. After she tried to convince Kristof to leave, Kassy slipped the gauntlets onto his person, hoping to lead everything off her trail. She didn't realize what she had gotten herself into, taking those. "I'll catch up and join you in just a second." I said to Kristof, hoping he would leave so I could figure out who this new woman her was. Who are you? Naoto Naoto turned to look at the man who had just walked up to him, saying there was a theft going on. "Sir, what was taken from that stand?" he asked the owner. "Something dangerous. You have to get them back, they could kill everyone here in the wrong hands!" the man was freaking out. "Thank you for the warning lad." he said back to the boy. He pulled out his radio, while scanning the area for the suspect. He noticed she was now talking to two other people, one of which she handed off the object to. "We have three dangerous suspects here. One of which is wearing a robe, handing off a dangerous object to a foreign man. The man is very tall, and bald. Possibly German. The other woman is wearing steel toecap shoes, dark blue jeans, and a black leather jacket. She looks to be American. Advise extreme caution, the object is hot, and dangerous." Naoto announced over the radios. He looked over at the two kids, and grabbed their swords forcefully, handing them to the one kid who had originally warned them. "Don't let them have these back. I'll be back to handle this later." he said, pulling out his gun and marching towards the suspects. He noticed the other cops entering in the door, though they didn't seem to know where the action was. Naoto pushed a button on his belt, which notified the other cops were he was. They looked in his direction. Naoto pushed the button in a specific order, announcing in which direction, and how far, from where he currently was, where the suspects where. The other cops instantly knew where the suspects where, and drew their guns, slowly making their way through the crowds, trying to stay low and out of sight for as long as they could.

This other woman brashly charging up to the two strangers threw Kristof aback just bit. Surely her etiquette is in need of some fine tuning. But at least she let him know where he can put his powers to good use, "Ah! Thank you very kindly my dear." The statuesque man leaned over for another bow, this time directed toward the black clad girl now in front of him. During which time the sneaky little Kassy slipped a fine piece of technology, perhaps heavy enough that anyone but Kristof would immediately take notice, however, Kristof's bag was already weighted, with a simple thought that he was becoming weak, what with the lack of feed. The German man lets off a thumbs up, coupled with the the warm smile that he often resorts to. "Why, don't I tell you all about it over some food then Jenica? If you'll excuse me, I'll allow you ladies to mingle then." With a final bow Kristof heads off in the direction that Rose sent him in, not wishing to be imposing on the two's conversation. Just thinking about the mouth watering tastes that he now delights in with every bite of a new meal causes his mouth to water. Adjusting the suspenders that keep his dress pants and white collar together he takes a cursory glance around, noticing that security seems to have been beefed up, however, faces were often darting towards him, ah well, Kristof had been profilled before for crime, hopefully they were only just afraid of such a large and muscular figure in a place like this, rather than something more sinister. The large famished man continues towards the buffet room.

Rose saw Kristof heading for the food then looked to Kassy "I am Rose but the better question is who are you I doubt Jenica is your real name? but more importantly do you realise just how dangerous those gauntlets are> they are currently switched on and if mist used they could bring down this entire building in a few seconds killing everyone inside now hand them over before someone gets hurt." just as Rose said that she noticed that the sound of the gauntlets was getting weaker she then heard the cops sound an alarm and one of them was talking to the others thinking she was involved. "shit you gave them to that Kristof fellow didn't you? well the cops are on to you and think me and Kristof are involved we have to get those gauntlets fast I can use them to create a distraction while I go an retune them to the owner before someone get hurt and we get into real trouble."

Kurano Tanaka Looks like I have to do the officer's job now, Kurano sighed as he looked towards the two homicidal children with laser swords. He wouldn't dare get near them, but instead attempted something else. The crowd around began to disperse as the officer left, giving Kurano a bit more space. "Hello, children. Are you having fun?" He stated with a clearly fake smile upon his face. I don't have time to babysit, when the action is over there. Perhaps I can lead them towards it? "Why don't we put away those weapons, and, play tag instead?" He suggested, hoping that this wouldn't lead to something even more violent happening. He brushed away his hair, and saw that now there was a child simply staring at him. Whoever's parents these belong to should pay me after this, he thought with a sigh. Minami Shiroka Minami stayed when everyone else started to move around. It looked like a lot of people wanted to leave the convention, talking about how unsafe it was. When the crowds thinned out, she saw a man talking to two little kids. When he said the word tag, Minami's eyes lit up like headlights. His gaze caught hers, and she shouted, "can I play too?" Which garnered some attention. The man sighed as she walked over, though she didn't pay it any mind.

Kassy Kassy sort of shrugged when Rose asked her real name, not ready to give it up yet. After Rose explained the dangers of the gauntlets, Kassy felt really bad. She had no idea what she had grabbed, she thought it would simply be a good thing to have in case things go south. She gave in, looking down at the ground now. "I... don't have them anymore...." she admitted. Rose instantly caught on, and guessed what had happened to them. Kassy nodded, looking for Kristof now. "Where'd he go?" she asked. Kassy could feel the energy of the cops moving in now. They were starting to feel more hyper, pumped up, and ready to pounce. "I'm sorry, I didn't know. Quick, let's go get them before the cops stop us. They won't believe anything we say." she then nodded to Rose. As soon as she started to move in the direction Kristof had moved in, she felt the cops moving in faster. "I think they're going to give chase. We have to get it quick!" Kassy whispered to Rose, trying to move faster and using the crowd to lose the cops. Naoto The man with the gloves separated from the group, heading over to where most of the food stands where located. "I've got visual on the man with the object. He's heading towards the food stands. I'm going to cut around and stop him before he finds a way out." Naoto announced, holding the radio in one hand, and his gun in the other. The other cops started spreading out, closing in fast on the two women who seemed to now be moving in the same direction as the other. Maybe they're going to use it to break a hole in the wall. We need to stop this now! "Everybody down!" Naoto yelled, holding his gun higher in the air to make it seen by the crowds. There was a delayed reaction, no one knowing what had happened. He didn't shoot it, but enough people saw it and screamed out. Most people ducked, and started spreading away from him. Mostly the people that didn't realize he was a cop, of course. He then aimed his gun towards the man, running towards him to close the gap. "On the ground, hands in the air! I want to see everything you do!" he yelled. He couldn't shoot if he had to... he might actually lose sight of the man due to the screaming and running going on now. He still had a few seconds before he would be close enough to do anything...
