They entered a room and one of the others started mentioning that they were hungry. Now that it was brought to attention Mara too realized she was hungry. She hadn't eaten on that plane thing nor in the taxi. Now that she thought about, she didn't recall eating a morning meal either. So it was safe to say she was rather famished. She followed the winged-one's instructions and placed herself down in a seat, luggage resting next to her. Now for the other part. She didn't quite understand how the food would just appear before her when she pictured what it was she wanted but she was willing to try it out.
Staring at the table and focusing very intently on a picture of seaweed salad, she jumped in shock when it appeared suddenly before her; making her let out a small yelp. She gazed down at the bowl in amazement. She hesitantly touched it, gasping when she felt the solid surface of bowl at her fingertips. It was real! She then picked up the bowl, looking at the sides and underneath it to try and figure out just where in the world it came from. Not able to figure it out, she set the bowl back down and picked up a piece of seaweed, nibbling on it. She tilted her head and focused again, jumping once more when a glass appeared filled with a clear liquid. She picked up the cup, looking at it strangely. What in the world was it and how does one use it?
She looked around at the others, hoping to be able to figure out what to do with it by watching one of them.
