[CHAR] Magician's Operation for Magic and Maladies

Appearance: Name: Topias Valtonen Age: "Not that old yet, Sir, Madam." Personality: Oddly cheery, and perhaps a bit eccentric, Val has been known to show up in the strangest places at very odd times. He almost always seems to perform with a smile, taking great pride in his work or at least appearing to tolerate it very well. He can be a bit odd at times, and has been known to sass others occasionally, but he's still a very hard worker. Position: "I perform here and there…" (Magic Ward Specialist) Applicable Bio: "I have been here for some time, I can't remember exactly how long… But it has been interesting, hasn't it?" Having been a part of this hospital for a while, Val has seen a lot of strange cases. Even as a specialist in the magic ward, exactly what he does is a bit tricky to pin down, as he seems to be a bit of a phantom at times. He does seem to have quite a bit of authority, however… Recently, he's been assigned the job of supervising the support group.

Appearance: Fluffy ice-blue hair and bright amber eyes. His default expression seems to be a scowl, and he's just a bit shorter than most humans his age. He gets defensive if people talk about his eyebrows. There's also a panel in his chest that can be opened. Name: Felice Age: "17…" Species: Cursed Doll Ability(-s): Doll Possession - Using a power similar to that which trapped him in his artificial body, Felice has the ability to possess dolls either for observation purposes or even to move them around. This takes up a lot of energy, though, and moving the dolls around through possession often requires that he shut down his body to do so. He can't stay for more than a couple of hours at most in another vessel, though he can remain linked for longer to observe. Personality: Oddly quiet, actually. When you actually manage to get him to talk, he's normally quite cynical and sarcastic. He's also the kind of person who would likely act rude, then try to make up for it anonymously later. He gets flustered whenever he's caught, though. It seems almost unnatural how little he speaks… He seems to practice a lot of performances in his spare time. Malady: "Felice's Doll Curse" - Val He's trapped in an artificial body, but that's not why he's here. Val found it to be a curious point of study, however, especially since it has some strings that can be pulled... Applicable Bio: Felice has been a hospital volunteer for a few weeks. He arrived around the time of another young patient's admittance and has been here ever since. Before he arrived here, he had a lot of experience in a performance troupe, but they disappeared under strange circumstances. Oddly enough, Val seems to be keeping an eye on him for now, and the boy can sometimes be seen running errands or performing tasks for him.

~Stands at 4’7 | Very slender and petite~ ~Name~ Autumn ~Age~ 15(At least, she was created 15 years ago) ~Species~ She doesn’t know what she is. ~Ability(s)~ Other than turning people to stone, Autumn is able to see using a form of echo-location. However, she needs sound for this to work otherwise she is left in the dark. ~Personality~ Her past scarred her and as a result, Autumn created a wall around herself. She is a very sweet and kind girl that upsets easily. Very clumsy but caring. However, she withdrew in on herself and erected a wall around herself. Everyone always gets hurt around her and if she distances herself from people then they can’t be hurt and neither can she. Everyone always leaves her so if she doesn’t get close, there will be no one there that will leave. ~Malady~ Medusa Curse= Like the Gorgon Medusa, anything she looks at will be turned to stone. So, to prevent herself from harming people, she wears a cloth tied around her eyes. ~Applicable Bio~ Autumn was made by a dark witch who wanted a creation to wreak havoc with. However, instead of an empty shell that only followed orders, Autumn was a sentient being able to think and feel for herself. Useless to the witch, Autumn was abused for the better part of her life. The witch had no need for her and so one day the witch tried to get rid of her. But Autumn managed to evade the woman. However, at one point when Autumn pushed her away she landed in the fire. As she burned she screamed out a curse. Made out of wood, the small hunt caught fire and Autumn fled the burning inferno. She was now lost and confused in a world she didn’t understand. People tried to help her along the way but everyone she meet she turned to stone. People became afraid of her and turned her away whenever they caught sight of her. They called her horrible names like monster and demon, staying she should not exist in this world. One instance, a boy no younger than six spotted her staggering down the road. He had ran over to her to see if she needed help but as soon as he caught sight of her crimson eyes he was turned to rock. His mother ran out of the house and over to her son, wailing in grief when she got to him. The men of the family came out and drove Autumn off with rocks and guns. Afraid and ashamed of her existence, Autumn hid. However, one day the Hospital found her and took her in.

Appearance: Name: James Hunter Age: 16 Species: Human(sort of) Ability(-s): Gigalomania: He can create his own delusions at will, and can send those delusions to others, but once enough people have it, or if it's a strong enough delusion, it becomes real. This also allows him telepathy, because he can read minds and send his thoughts and ideas to others. Personality: He rarely talks, and avoids people, so nobody really knows what he's like. Malady: His gigalomania makes him see delusions all the time, so he has trouble discerning what's real and what's not, which is slowly driving him insane. Applicable Bio: At a young age James found that he was seeing things others couldn't see, but sometimes he would see strange things that at first only he could see, but soon everyone else would see it too. Because of his delusions, others avoided him, and thought that he was insane. So he's pretty much been alone all this time. Also, things that should work through sight or things that affect the mind don't work on him because of his delusions.

Appearance: Name: Spook (Felitz) Age: 24 Species: Familiar Ability(-s): Telepathy: Lacking the ability to verbally communicate with humans, familiars use telepathy to send images, feelings, or in some cases even direct language to others around them. Transformation: Felitz had the ability to transform from his human form to that of a cat. Mystic Focus: Familiars are used to focus the energy of a witch, magician, wizard, etc. when performing spells. A familiar typically lacks any kind of magical energy themselves, but can help control and strengthen the spells cast by someone else. Personality: Felitz is very cautious, and doesn't trust strangers. It is difficult for him to form a bond with someone he has recently met, and even then will only share information he feels is relevant. He prefers to stay on the sidelines during a competition or fight, and will sacrifice gory and recognition in exchange for anonymity. Malady: Irrevocably transformed into his alternate self. Applicable Bio: Felitz grew up as the 6th son of a well-off businessman, and was the odd one out among his brothers. When they were participating in an activity, Felitz would always be the one keeping score or holding the camera. When he was old enough to leave home, he apprenticed to an elderly magician living in the area. They worked well together, and Felitz found that he liked and trusted the old man. The young man agreed to be the magician's familiar; a companion to help focus the magician's power. However, after a spell misfired and trapped Felitz in his familiar form, the magician skipped town, leaving the problem unsolved.

Appearance: Name: Luna Vincent Age: 16 Species: Human, maybe? Ability(-s): Psychometry, gaining information by touch, for example, learning how to use a weapon by touching it, learning when the last call was made on a phone by touching it, detect injuries or health problems by touching a person, gain knowledge from books, etc. She deals in ONLY past and present information, no future, and doesn’t get emotions or thoughts. When she starts taking on too much information she gets headaches until she faints from the pain. Personality: Luna is the quiet and shy type, preferring to follow the crowd and keep her head down rather than be a leader and stand out. She speaks eloquently and without a stutter when spoken to because of lessons, but she doesn’t talk much unless spoken to. She is compassionate and likes people but can be afraid to approach them or make friends in fear of upsetting them, either through mistakenly using her powers or upsetting them. She often conceals her thoughts and emotions too, until she can’t take it anymore and explodes. Malady: She was recently hit by a car and has become paralyzed from the waist down. She is in the hospital being treated for her injuries and attempting to adjust to no longer being able to use her legs. Applicable Bio: The Vincent family is a very rich family that owns a large business and is very well off. Luna, as the youngest child and not the one to inherit the company, was often ignored. She got anything material or food wise that she wanted, needed or asked for, but was mostly neglected and left alone. Her parents didn’t really care about what happened to her as long as she stayed in line, favoring her older siblings. When she came into her powers she was told to always conceal them. When she got sick, they put her in the hospital.

19 | Libra | October 13th 15 | Capricorn | January 3rd Full Name Dakota & "Raven" Wilds. Species Advanced human with two different paths: one for magic (Dakota) and one for psychic abilities ("Raven"). Abilities

• Dakota - Basically, he's a zodiac mage, meaning that he can tap into the element that is classified by his zodiac. In this case, Dakota is a Libra, meaning that his element is wind -- it's a more complex way of saying "wind mage". Being the same person as Raven, the two are indirectly connected by a telepathic link as well.

• Raven - Gifted with both telepathy and empathy, Raven can also see through Dakota's eyes when the two are separated. His only offensive ability is telekinesis. Due to not being "whole" with his other self, Raven struggles with confidence when it comes to using abilities, therefore, nerfing the hell out of them and often causing him to feel faint or completely pass out entirely.

Personality

• Dakota - Affable, relaxed and secretly very confused. Literally obsessed with the idea of chicken nugget cults and the communists at KFC trying to take over the world, it becomes apparent very quickly as to why people treat Dakota as being a little crazy. Truthfully, he isn't entirely there, as he isn't aware of the fate of his brother (or at least not on the surface) and doesn't seem to remember the injustices he suffered as a child. Because of being two different people, Dakota has a one-track mind that exists on two different planes of existence: one where everything is actually happening and one where he is able to hear or see the thoughts of others. Unfortunately, he cannot tell the difference between the two thinking processes and therefore, causes him to occasionally outburst or create statements that make no sense. Due to his current mental state, he is unable to care about anyone aside from "Raven".

• Raven - Serious, mysterious and a little cold. "Raven" is extremely goal-driven and very sarcastic, especially to his other half. He is often the one tasked with cleaning up messes caused by other people and is surprisingly down-to-earth, despite his unapproachable exterior. Extremely intelligent and burdened with the memories that his other self cannot seem to recall, he has a severe lacking of common sense. It is unlike Raven to be up front with people and thus, as a result, tends to keep secrets, especially the one involving having two different halves.

Malady Unaware to it, Dakota suffers from a multi-personality disorder on a completely different plane of existence. Because of the torment he received as a child from the ghost of his deceased older brother, Raven, his mind completely shattered resulting in two different entities: Raven, which has all the memories and is well aware of his circumstances and Dakota, who is treated as nothing more than just an empty shell of shattered memories. Applicable Biography The second child of a witch and a psychic, Dakota spent a majority of his childhood being believed by one parent and not the other. It was obviously a spiteful act on each other and not on him, as they were in the middle of heavy times after the intentional death of their eldest child, Raven, who took his life at the age of thirteen. And the family members sure did enjoy blaming each other, to the point of oblivion when it came to Raven's ghost haunting the family, all except for little Dakota. And it was that very same haunting that caused the boy's fragile mind to shatter, causing him to create two versions of himself: "Raven" and the empty shell left behind. "Raven" never aged physically and followed Dakota everywhere, despite always being connected through telepathy and each other's eyesight. In return, Dakota was entirely lost without Raven and without memories of what happened as a child, he believed the same that everyone else outside of the family did: "Raven" was Dakota's little brother and that was the end of the story. Other Shattered by O.A.R is the themesong for this character, since I listened to it while writing this profile up. Also, I used this character in an offline Roleplay once and the girl I was writing with actually thought I was Satan for a week. Enjoy!
