HP RP?

We'll be using the universe of course but we're going to play as new characters in a time preferably many years (like 100 years or more) after the war that by hearing about it seem like a mere record in a history book and nothing more. Everything was peaceful until something caused another trouble in the wizarding world, probably a new evil wizard, or a revolting colony of giants or something. I dunno, anything really, I havent really thought about it yet to be honest. I just wanted to know if there people interested to join in, and if they are, what kind of plot would they like play with. I'm pretty much down to any suggestions right now.

@Travesty I did an interest check for a 100 years later Harry Potter roleplay, didn't grab much interest from it though. I have a whole background and plot typed up.

I would like to do a Harry Potter RP but I'm afraid of the same thing; that it won't get anywhere. But~ I could help with creating the world if you need someone to work with you cooperatively. I'm great at world-building! I think the reason a lot of these RP's die is because they're not entirely original. Here's a few ideas I have with a Harry Potter RP: Plot; - evil wizard, enough said, makes weird things happen and people die at the school Not in Hogwarts, which is based out of England/UK; how about somewhere else in the world? Even though it will primarily used to start with, the grounds themselves can be incredibly different. - Netherlands - France - Germany - Switzerland - Italy - Brazil - New-Age school of Wizardry in the USA After school things in order to give the RP flavor overall, even if they're not used directly, their places can be; - Magic Art, Dancing, etc. rooms - 1x1 Fighting and various places to train, + things to train with; giant stone armor, wild / enchanted plants Cast of characters, even if some are rarely used - not simply replacements of original HP characters, but new characters just as complex Mess it up and throw in a few races that are likely to be in a fantasy world, I would probably shy away from frequent Vampires though. And all player's main characters as humans (or very close to it) attending the school.

Yes please! Sometimes, Hogwarts is too overused and I really love it when HP rps explore the other parts of the world, even the other schools involved in the Triwizard cup.

Sorry, I was a little busy with school. Unfornately, its impossible for me to write up something right now. Although iSuspect PMed me her(his?) plot, and it looked good. Though I may have to ask her permission to post the plot here first, or she can post it here herself.

Not in Hogwarts, which is based out of England/UK; how about somewhere else in the world?

If it's gonna be in Asia, I kind of want to suggest Macau. We just had someone in class speak about it and it seems like a good place. The 'Las Vegas of Asia'. It's a relatively modern place, which I think might just force the wizarding community to adapt faster. The muggles might play a part in the problem for the wizarding school and all. :>

Well, first of all, I am truly a guy. Yes, a guy. Haha. Secondly, here is the plot: 100 years later, Hogwarts has been reduced to rubble from the battle in 1998. The headmaster moved the school down the road leaving the cliff side a mess of the old Hogwarts school. Now Dementors have claimed that part of the land and students are sneaking in for a peak.What are the teachers and ministry hiding? What are the secrets that will lay in the labyrinth of rubble and who will survive to tell the tale? Now, I love Izuriel's idea of not making Hogwarts but another wizarding school of some sorts. So, yeah. Two neat ideas.
