[IC] Blood Raiders

"..First mission huh..." Serenity murmured to herself as the members of Blood Raiders were split up, all of them were looking for a vampire who not only steals jewelry, but kills as well. Their boss had given all of them their first mission, the eight members of Blood Raid of course. Serenity had her rapier away in her sheath that was attached to a belt on her side, she had a coat over it to conceal it from humans. She also had her hair up for once, since she considers this as physical activity. She started to think back to their the meeting before the eight of them left for their first mission.

"All of you have been chosen by the hunters to make a team, to help eradicate the vampires who bring harm to our cities. You eight are apart of the 15 children who survived the experiments. The others will most likely be used for.. something.." A male with short brown hair and sunglasses said, pacing around in front of all of the members. It's like he was studying us all.. I felt disgusted to be even around this man, but to be used by the vampire hunters? That's even worse. "You know.. you all had potential... but this is where the fighting begins. It's either life, or death." The male said once again, just pacing around all of us. Oh how I just wanted to hit him, he's just one of those 'cool and rebellious' hunters, trying to be a leader. Oh how he pissed me off! Serenity glanced around at the other eight who were in a line besides her, all facing our 'boss'.

Dracul

A quiet and harrowing vibe envelopes the sturdy, cold hulk who stood in the same room as the other misfits. He had a look of vengeance in his face. A scar that had cut so deep that it changed the identity of who he was. Once innocent, he was abandoned by the very thing he could only depend. Instead, he became something else that far blasphemed the ethics of all religious laws around the world. He became shunned and rejected. Wounding was the years of experimentation. All that left of his cracking shell was fury, bloodlust and madness.

Robin awkwardly shifted his stance as he listened to someone or other talking. He really didn't care. He gently gently grasped the handle of his sword that was sheathed at his side. He looked around at the others standing with him. He vaguely had heard of a few of them, but didn't really know a whole lot about them. He also noticed a few other sword wielders. Robin sighed. He would make it out of here, if it were the last thing he did.

Vivian had feigned utter disinterest in the meeting, earning her a few irritated but ignored glances from the boss man. Although she had listened with her ears, her attention had been on her nails as she freed them of dirt. On the inside, however, she had been excited, and she struggled to keep her heart rate even. Her fellow vampires would occasionally hear it skip a beat, but the contrast to her nonchalant appearance would cause confusion. This mission would be her chance to get out of this hell hole. The boss had said something about the group as a whole and she took the chance to glance down the line of the other Blood Raiders, wondering who'd she be with partnered with and if they'd let go or if she'd have to kill them to escape.

Rebecca had her arms behind her back as she looked ahead at the wall behind the boss, her eyes somewhat half-open almost as if she was giving a blank stare. It could be taken as if she was spacing out or not paying attention, but she was indeed listening. She looked to one side and then the other at her new colleagues. So these are the people who survived the same experiences she went through, or at least...similar. Now she was going to kill other vampires with them. If it's to kill another vampire, so be it. Trying to escape these days, to get away, it's honestly not even worth the time anymore. Though, if someone were to ask her to help them escape or to escape with them, she supposes she can go along. Possibly not, maybe. It depends, really. Just to see where it all ends up. Rebecca looks to her left side, down at her sheathed katzbalger sword. Then she looked back forward, closed her eyes with a light exhale. This was probably going to be a long day she wanted to get over with.

Autumn was standing slightly apart from the other Blood Raiders, eye focused on their boss. The other one, the injured left eye was covered with an eye-patch so it left her with only one good eye. She bore an emotionless expression as she listened to the boss describe what it was they were going to be doing. Not that she really cared, she was just following orders. At least that's what she tried to convince herself was the truth but it was a lie. She cared, of course she did but it broke her too much to care because it always ended up hurting both herself and others around her. People always left her so it was best to just not get involved. However, the real Autumn was hidden deep inside, protected by walls. And so Autumn stood there with a blank expression, looking for all the world like she was bored.

Seth sat smiling widely at the information he was just given from his boss. Usually other vampires would stop and think ,why would I obey him? Why not rebel and attempt to escape. Well Seth finally came to a conclusion. Its nearly impossible to escape so its better to follow the rules instead of waisting your energy attempting to free yourself from an endless hell. Seth leaned back in his seat relaxing his feet in mid-air abusing his ability to defy gravity. He quickly examined his new team mates and smirked whispering."I can already tell this is gonna be one heck of a job."

"Now all of you, get to know one another before you head out on your first mission tonight at ten." The boss said as he walked out of the room, leaving everybody else to their own things. Serenity had looked at the other seven, like she was studying them or something. She was actually kind of curious to know which one of them would be the most tasty, perhaps a half-vampire. "Well, introduce yourselves." Serenity said as she walked out of the front facing towards the groups, then placing a lollipop in her mouth as she stared at them with narrowed eyes. Most of them seemed scary looking, but she was most surprised to see a male with large muscles in the group. He caught her eyes immediately.

That bossy remark coming from the hunter was nearly responded with a snarl but he was long gone before then. As the room was left to the vampires in the room eyes began to dart all over one another. The first was a brat who seemed to be too over his own head with his battling prowess. That frail body could easily be broken with by his own fists. Another was the obviously misplaced reject standing upside-down the ceiling. His comments only served to taunt him to consuming his essence-- poor boy wouldn't last longer than a second. The broken shell of a cyclops was the other monster that isolated herself away from the world around her. She'd best wake up to the horrors of reality or die while she's still worthless. That half-covered face was only hiding that big ego of hers. What'd she think too good of herself to even show half of her appearance? He couldn't wait to just rip those cloths apart and sever her neck whilst feasting on her blood. One only person who may share a similar view of the world was one halfling-- but even that disgusted him. He deserved those fake vampire fangs. Another female was too busy taking care of her own vanity. He was sure that she'd have other problems to worry about when his whips ripped her skin and shatter her bones. The last girl... He turned his eyes to already see her looking directly at him. His pupils dilated and focused on her, as if interrogating her intentions in gazing at his direction. Her dismissive tone as she spoke was enough to put him on a bad mood. He will not be ordered around by some lady who thinks highly of herself. "Is there blood on my face or are you just happy to see me?" Dracul stated wittily at her.

"Names' Robin. Half-Vampire" Robin said to the group, looking around at the other vampires. A large number of them seemed menacing, even the girls of the group. Many swords and various other sharp and menacing weapons hung at the sides of the other vampire hunters. Robin preferred to keep his relationships strictly personal these days, and elected to keep his introduction as short as possible.

Serenity was a little annoyed by the attitude of this man, she lifted an eyebrow before sighing, feeling that it would be rude not to answer him. "You could say I'm happy to see you, you're clearly the tank of this team after all. And if there was blood on your face I would instantly lick it off." Serenity said before turning towards the boy who introduced himself as Robin, she nodded to catch his name. But the species, she didn't really like the half-bloods that much. "Good to meet you Robin." Serenity said.

There wasn't a hint of ease with his emotions. A stubborn rock-hard expression remain to carve his face before he made his remark. "For a porcelain doll such as yourself, you've got girth and guts to mock me. You'd best to not get in my way."

When the boss man left, Vivian took the opportunity to drop her hand and lean back against the wall. She continued her apathetic facade as she looked again at the rest of the Blood Raiders, her golden eyes alight with curiosity. It was a good mix of halflings and full fledged vampires, and she knew the full blooded ones had the most potential to be dangers. Her gaze lingered on the bigger one--he was perhaps the most dangerous, but she remained silent in her judgement as the others began exchanging words. The lovely pink haired girl spoke first, prompting everyone to introduce themselves but conveniently not starting them off. That brought a small smirk to Vivian's face, though her silence continued as Pinkie an Muscles continued to bicker. The handsome albino-looking boy introduced himself as Robin and was brave enough to declare himself a halfie. Vivian was the same, but she supposed if these so-called full vampires were so great, they could tell without her saying anything. Vivian was oh-so tempted to join in the banter and make some catty remarks of her own. However, this was a good time to observe above all else. Finally out of isolation, her fellow hunters would be flexing their egos, contending for the "alpha" position among the group. Vivian, however, would keep mostly to herself until it was time to flee. Even if she wasn't stronger than whomever she would get matched up with, the element of surprise could be the deciding factor in her escape. "Anyway," Vivian interjected after Muscles' remark to Pinkie, "I'm Vivian." She sat up straighter, gesturing to herself. "Vivian Vanbrooke."

Rebecca put her arms loosely to her sides as the boss finally finished and left. Then one of the girls turned to them, wanting the group to introduce themselves. What? Did this just transition into a social club? No matter, it only makes sense to get to know your teammates. However Rebecca was in a slight antisocial mood at the moment, so she just stood there silently looking at the tank and pink haired girl. It seemed like they were about to start a fight already, which is why she had an unamused look in her eyes. The dark haired girl, introduced as Vivian, seemed to have managed to break it up between the two just by jumping in and introducing herself. Still, Rebecca felt a little antisocial, but she'll introduce herself sooner or later. Right now she was just watching silently.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't." Serenity said with a funny tone and a smile, she turned towards the girl with golden eyes when she introduced herself. Vivian.. Vanbrooke.. Serenity analysed into her head, she to figure out if she was a half vampire, and led to the case that she was. She took a step towards Vivian. "..What a nice name.." Serenity mumbled to herself before looking around to see the stares everyone was giving her. She took a step back and sighed, placing a hand on her hip. "My name is Serenity Coldwell. Vampire." Serenity introduced herself, she would clearly look like a vampire with that pale skin of hers, and how she acts of course is kind of creepy.

Now left alone with her other teammates Autumn glanced at them. One of the girls proclaimed they should introduce themselves though introduced herself only after three other people introduced themselves first. Her crimson eye fell on the boy who called himself Robin. Hmmm, seems like she wasn't the only half-vampire. However she guessed they were few in number. She briefly wondered if it would cause problems with relationships between the two beings. Her attention was then drawn to a hulking vampire and the girl who had first spoken. Before things could escalate though one of the girls, Vivian, stepped in. Feeling no inclination to speak up Autumn continued to gaze at them. Why did they need to know her name? It had no relation to the job at hand and frankly she had no desire to establish relationships with any of them.

The redish black haired boy stood up out of his chair and jumped into the other vampires conversation. "What's Up! My fellow vampires!" He shouted happily. "Looks like we're all gonna be buddy's from now on. I'm Seth by the way." He wore a giant smile quickly examining the other Blood Riders from the Tank to the halflings.

Vivian sat tall even when Serenity closed the distance between her and Vivian. Although surprised by the girl's compliment, she remained grinning confidently. "Thanks, babe," she teased, winking at Pinkie. Then her attention was elsewhere; she looked around at the hunters who insisted on being quiet. Then Seth jumped in, stealing the spotlight, and Vivian allowed her gait to relax again. If someone else wanted the show, it was all theirs. She already introduced herself, so she could go back to observing for the time being.

The others were of no interest of him any longer. He stood on his own nearby a wall and kept his thoughts to himself and waited until they were all released for their mission.

Robin sighed again. No one here seemed of interest to him, so he drew his blade and began honing its' edge. He couldn't say he was excited to be working with these people, but he really didn't have a whole lot of choice, so he may as well make the best of hit. He filed the name of the people who had introduced themselves already, and their attitude so far. Seth, Vivian and Serenity; Robin thought to himself. He pondered where their first mission would take the group an what they'd have to do.
