[OOC] Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: Return of the Fortune Cup

45 years after the original Fortune Cup Kaiba Corp decides to hold a second. Using only the rules allowed during the time of the original Fortune Cup meaning many people won't be able to compete using the Xyz and pendulum monsters they have gotten used to. Turbo Duels and Regular Duels rule this tournament and Kaiba corp is using this as a way to bring people together around the old style of the game connecting parents with children. But Kaiba Corp has a sinister secret. Someone has worked their way to the top and intends to use the company to resurrect the Dark Signers thousands of years early. Now its up to a new group of people to find the Signers and help save the world. This is what happens when I watch Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds from the beginning. Anyway I've always had a thing for the 5Ds universe so i figured why not bring it back in some way. Now as many know there are only 6 Signers but you could easily be a Dark Signer if you wanted. Just a heads up we will all get a Majestic form is the RP gets that far.(signers) Feel free to let me know o your interest and any ideas you may have. Just a quick slew of answers i know will be asked. Yes i will allow custom archetypes. Yes you can create your own Signer Dragon and no we wont be making any new signer marks. Signers:

Nope, because our GM is completely useless, not creating the things that an rp needs, like a cs, or even putting a link in the interest check for this rp so those in the interest check would know when the rp came up.

Perhaps it is a bit late now, but I apologize for my poor choice in words. It's difficult for one to place himself in another's shoes. I will leave this rp and not bother you again if that is what I must do. Although, admittedly, your previous track record with GM'ing rp's hasn't exactly been the best. One of them, the community seemed to die out, and the other never even left the interest check. It was quite a number of weeks since anyone heard from you again, and people lost interest and moved on to better things. I again apologize that my words were so harsh (I probably should have never said them in the first place) but even eklipse agreed with them, and you never gave any warning. I understand that life comes first, and perhaps I cannot be forgiven, but I beg you to give me a second chance, just as I have done by trying to join your other previous rp's.

Hm...I've been curious about joining since 5d's is my second favourite season but...how will the duels work?

You mean like whether or not we're following the old rules of 4000 lp and 1 field spell, or whether we're gonna do titanpad duels or Duelingnetwork duels, or both, or some other topic,?

Second option, I never got to roleplay Yugioh so...how do the duels work in a roleplay? We go to an online yugioh site such as dueling network, duel then bring the results here...? @_@

We can also make up our duels as we go in a titanpad, where we type out our character's reactions and plays. It offers a lot more freedom, as we can easily decide what cards we draw, although we should refrain ourselves from just drawing the exact card we need every single time.
