Infused with some form of magic, Striker and Jett can communicate with one another through their minds. This sword was passed down to him by his father, an elf from Lucius. His father said to him, "This sword is capable of so much more then cutting things down my son, one day when the time is right, you'll connect on a much deeper scale.

Biography

Living in this time of "peace" Jett still wasn't convinced this could last. His father, once a great master of the sword, fell in love with an earthling. Jett was born from an elf and a human, making Jett and exceptional cross-breed. His father was very hard on Jett, making him train everyday for 13 years with his weapon. His mother died to a fatale illness, but through this hardship, Jett maintained his training, shortly after the same illness go to his father and he too fell ill, his elf abilities only delayed it a couple of days, but it eventually caused him to pass away. Having to vacate his home, Jett was on the street. He was picked up by a criminal organization and learnt how to steal and fight without a weapon. He did multiple jobs and got into deep, he never liked the idea of what he was doing, he needed out. He left one night, knowing too much information about their organization. He has to hide is identity and changes it quite often, this includes his hair and name.

Like I said, he is trying to fit in with the other people, he will help those who truly need it. He is inviting and caring. His voice suggests comfort around him. If you are one of his friends, he will die protecting you. He has seen the third world and hopes to get rid of their pain.

Jet doesn't like the idea of killing people and this often limits him in fighting. His weakness is that human decease's affect him still and he feints quite a bit from the half elf and half human cells.

Jett, tapping into his elf side, can process images faster than the average person, giving him extraordinary reaction time. He has nightvision and he is quicker than the average person almost tripling their human speed. he is very skilled at the art of the sword and hand to hand combat. He is a quick thinker and often says witty remarks.

On top of that, he has gone to Lucius but has never adventured. Strikers voice takes on one of a females. Jett can fire a concentrated beam of magic in any direction from Striker. Striker is a magical sword who later has his own story.

Okay, my last two characters didn't seem to go over very well. So this time I decided to shift gears and try something a little different

Because they've been hunter to near extinction by people after their magical horns, they tend to live a hermits life. Unicorns are also said to be naturals at healing magic. An odd quirk of their race is when reproducing with another race, the offspring will either be a full blood Unicorn, or what ever species the other parent is. This seems to be determined by the race of the other parent; When a Human and a Unicorn have a child, it's a Unicorn, but if it was an Elf, then the child would be an Elf. Out of fear for her life and that of her son's, she and her husband kept her Unicorn heritage a secret from everyone, except for Mathew of course. Because he was forced to hide his true race, he never got much time to practice his powers. As such, Mathew lived the life of a normal human boy...although such a life left him wanting more While becoming a knight like his father seemed like an easy solution to such a problem, he was concerned about his secret and if he would be able to keep it if he took the path of a knight. As such, he decided that he needed to find a place where he didn't need to keep his secret. Something that he found in the Academy of the Arcane Artes Personality Mathew is a scholar and a gentleman. He is even tempered and a patient boy. That said, it's not impossible to get on his bad side. Mistreating women and children are a really quick way to do so. He's the kind of guy who makes an effort to get along with everyone he can "Which sounds like a more ideal world; one in which everyone is your enemy, or one where everyone is your friend?" Partner Looking for one Fear(s)/Weakness(es)/Limit(s) Unicorns are good as passing as normal Humans because their physical power is roughly the same as one when not in their Unicorn form. As for their Unicorn form; because of the shape of their body, they have trouble dealing with anything behind them, as well as turning around fast enough to deal with anyone attacking them, not helped by the fact that they can only channel magic through their horn in this form. They also have a hard time getting someone off of their back. Also, the loss of their hands means that they can only grab things with their mouth. Because the transformation form from Human for to Unicorn form takes roughly ten seconds, changing forms in battle leaves him open to attack Skills/Abilities/Traits As a Unicorn, he naturally has access to light elemental magic. However, due to his lack of training, the most he can do is create gumball sized balls of light to fire at foes. In his Unicorn form, he gets a significant boost in running speed and stamina, as well as a minor strength boost. As for healing powers, as of now he can only heal light wounds Theme Song Closer

If the vampire doesn't go over well, I came up with a pretty interesting concept just a bit ago, so we can go with that if need be. I would like to run it by the GMs beforehand though, just to save myself the trouble if it's too out there. Who would be the best person to contact with character concepts?

Penelope sees her time at the academy as a chance to start climbing the social ladder and regain her family's status. Partner: Willing to partner with anyone Personality: The first thing people notice about Penelope is that she snarks with the best of them. Her natural instinct is to treat both bad news and outright danger with sarcasm. If one can get through her tough exterior, which isn't easy, she start feeling more comfortable around them. Strange abilities and traits: Sirens have an innate affinity for water magic. Powerful sirens have been known to dispel storms at sea and lift entire lakes from their beds, even turning their entire bodies into living water, but right now, Penelope's powers are barely enough to fill a small bathtub Hypnotic Song: All Sirens have a song that can hypnotize weak-willed members of the opposite sex. However, it will not work on mechanical lifeforms. Fears/weaknesses: Penelope often sets high expectations for herself, and berates herself if she fails to meet them. If I missed any points, other GMs go tell me. @The Fox Without Still haven't fixed the issues. @BrodZ11711 You also have not fixed the issues. @Tyrant from the West 5th Year looks to be too high tier for your characters' skillset. Don't know if Vari kept it in my notes, but basically third to fourth and fourth to fifth are increasingly difficult tests of combat power, and lots of people repeat the third year because they simply aren't powerful enough to get into fourth, which has the highest death toll of all the years. I'd peg him more as a third or fourth year. But that's all. @Konami Yes, hello, can you please explain this sentient mana business? That's basically all. @Card Captor I think you'll be surprised to say I haven't been able to poke any tiny holes into this boat. Nah, it's just one big one. Basically your race is weird when we have a dragon that maintains a human form while being a normal dragon. Not to mention that it's weird from a biological standpoint too, but that's beside the point. All you really have to do is make him a full-blooded one-horn and that'd rid of most of the complications I see. @Masaki Haruna Where does he get his 1337 mid-combat theft skills?
