Moirah listened intently as the conversation unfolded. She leaned over Skylar's book, peering at the pages, wishing she could decipher their secrets as easily as the Ravenclaw claimed she could.
She had not yet visited the great Library of Hogwarts. "Would they really have books about dark magic for us to look through?" She stated quietly, not quite joining in the conversation, but speaking her though aloud as she looked over the potions book and recognized very little. She imagined that any books on dark magic would be more difficult than the introductory text books she had purchased in Diagon Alley.
She frowned a bit, worried that she wouldn't be able to catch up to her classmates. She would have attended Hogwarts last year, but due to the war it had remained closed. Her parents were supposed to teach her magic in the meantime... however, her father was never around and her mother... was not a teacher by nature. She had flunked her first year equivalency exam. Being pure blooded from an honorable powerful house was not enough to get her through it. She'd have to read a bit as well...
"That's a good idea." She said to Skylar. Maybe the Ravenclaw could help her if she found herself struggling with her studies. That is what Ravenclaw were known for after all, their wisdom and knowledge, wasn't it?
She raised her brow a bit as Aedan suggested that himself and his cousin could teach a better lesson than their teacher. Could that really be true of a first year? He rattled off his credentials. On the one hand Moirah felt a bit ashamed that her lessons had not been so thorough, on the other hand... the Death Eaters... the subject reminded of the war that divided her family and her stomach felt uneasy.
Moirah had no idea what the room of requirement was and didn't want to reveal her ignorance. She simply nodded, approving of the idea... whatever it was...
Edging closer to Skylar she asked "Do you have your schedule? Do we have any classes togehter?"
