The scientist have found a way to blend human and animal DNA. The government has agreed to fund this experiment. The question was where to get volunteers. After much discussion it is agreed to offer the option to young criminals as away to avoid jail and turn their lives around. As one of these young criminals you will have to learn to control your animal instincts and learn to change at will. If you survive the training you will became a solider defending the United States. The teens are kept an apartment complex that was build under ground. The idea was to give them enough space not to kill each other. It was understood that the teens would do exactly what they were told or they would be destroyed. They would be tested and educated. It was hoped that they could become the soldiers of the future saving others.

well I got plenty of ideas 1 We're trained by a terrorist group that wants to wipe out mankind and replace them with what they call the "homo perfectus" which is us, 2 We're in a Medievalish world where "heathens", which are people who are part animal, are being hunted down. 3 same thing as number 2, except in a falloutish world, where the world has pretty much gone south after a nuclear war, a bunch of people start getting animal traits (fur, turning into a cat, scales,) due to exposure to radiation, Religious groups have sprung up everywhere to slaughter them

I think I was, or else I was in a rp very much like this one. In the one I'm thinking of I played a saber tooth cat, if I remember correctly.
