Also Olsted (and everyone else), the Pair command is used when adjacent to the person you wanna become the support unit for. You can't land on the same tile as another unit in any circumstance, only pass through or pair with them.

College vs Free Time is a lot like being on the receiving end in this video:

I looked that up and oh joy, it's a bunch of Melee fans butthurt about brawl being a different game. I hate those douchebags!
Freeshooter92 said
they're the same kind of guys that disable items and only play on final destination because it's a 'better game.'

Go to hell! Stop telling me my choice in character is invalidated because he isn't goddamn Marth!

Anyway, rant over. It wasn't directed at any present company by the way. I'm sure none of you are like... people.

Edit 2: And Yasuno was the one I wanted to train the most. Haha. Guess I'll go kill some Risen with her after this.

I gotta say I am surprised that all those rolls screwed her over. I was not expecting her to get hit by everything.

Brawl players also hate Brawl and love P:M.Brawl players do this too.Fox* (if Melee)Meta Knight* (if Brawl)We did stop bitching, we got off our asses and put wavedashing back in.No.You couldn't be more wrong. Melee is the single largest fighting game tournament community in the world.Yeah none of us are people. xDOn a more important note, it's almost 1am so I will update Freeshooter vs Merc tomorrow.

It's just a bunch of people that can't accept their precious darling baby, you know, changing. None of those games are to be tournament fighters! It's not what smash bros. is all about, not all this crazy advanced nonsense, or tiers, it's about having a good time with your buddies on the couch, watching what would happen if Luigi and Captain Falcon duked it out. It's this sense of rampant elitism that kills games for me, when it stops being about having a good time and it becomes solely for competition. Doing all that to it, it just takes its soul...

Also tiers are for assholes.

I prefer Brawl because it is more balanced on a casual level. I can pick ANY character and still fare a decent chance against virtually all my friends. As someone who always without exception goes with random character, I am very thankful for this. There was once a melee tournament at school I was made to join, and I got a few strange looks when I rolled dice to see which character I should play. From someone who could never take the time to become professional in any game, their reactions were worth everything. Of course I lost, but their reactions? Almost every single one of them having to pause for a moment realizing they had nothing to say to me? Priceless.
