Personality: As her chosen alias would suggest, Nina is rather boisterous and over-passionate. It is seemingly impossible for her to give less than 100% in any given activity, as she feels that if she's not giving something her all she may as well not be doing it in the first place. She has a strong sense of justice (and in fact is a very big fan of superheroes), and won't back down against evildoers no matter what the odds; in fact, her determination and unwillingness to give up is her greatest strength, as she can often turn things around and come out on top purely through sheer force of will. Other than that, she's generally pretty friendly, and willing to act like everyone's little sister; if she thinks you're being too mopey, she'll let you know and try to cheer you up in her own way. Notably, she insists on referring to everyone by codename whilst out in action, as in her mind it makes everything so much cooler.
Powers: Nina possesses the power to manipulate her own body heat to extreme temperatures, causing her to become superheated. This not only makes it difficult for most villains to approach her, but allows her to sheathe her hands and feet in flame. If she were to turn her powers up more than usual, everything within a certain radius from her would start to burst into flames, although due to the collatoral damage this causes and how dangerous it is for everyone around her she very rarely pushes her powers this far. Technically, her powers work both ways; she could instead lower her temperature and cause things around her to freeze instead, although she is currently unaware of this facet of her powers (possibly due to it clashing so much with her fiery personality). Naturally, she is immune to the negative effects of extreme temperatures, and due to both comic book physics and modesty her outfit does not combust into nothing whenever she activates her powers. In addition to her powers, Nina is moderately skilled in martial arts (albeit not to the level of many other heroes), possessing a yellow belt in kung fu.
Weakness: Aside from her immunity to the effects of extreme temperatures, Nina has no special defences. She's just as vulnerable to physical blows, blades and bullets as any other regular human.
Appearance: In costume! She's kind of short, and not all that developed. Out of costume she tends to wear cut-off denim shorts and t-shirts baring the names of various power metal bands.
Bio: Nina has always dreamed of being a hero. Ever since she was young, she's been a huge fan of the colourful costumed crusaders who protect the peace and safety of Earth, and has tried her best to live up to their standards. Even as a child she engaged in amateur heroics, like rescuing pets from trees and standing up to bullies at schools, but it wasn't until she was 13 that her heroic career could really get started. The moment she saw the fire, she knew she had to do something about it. She didn't care about her own safety, only that the people in the burning building were taken out of harms way, and so she heedlessly charged into the inferno. As she dragged the victims out, she began to notice that the intense heat surrounding her wasn't affecting her at all. She wasn't even sweating as she pulled them to safety. It didn't take long for her to realize that the heat of the flames had suddenly activated her latent metagene, and with that she came to a startling conclusion: she had superpowers! And that was awesome! It didn't take her long to design a costume and begin taking on bigger acts of injustice than before, and eventually her dedication to heroism coupled with her passionate and outspoken personality got her noticed by other heroes...
Name: Press Dalton
Alias: Paragon
Age: 17
Personality: Kind-hearted and friendly, but he's not exactly a social person. He prefers to spend his time playing video games, working on various gadgets and what-not in his room, or exercising. However, he's still willing to engage in social activities with other people, albeit akwardly. Still a good guy to have with you, though.
Powers:
Controlling electronic machinery to an extent. He can short circuit them, cause them to function erratically, force them to ignore other outside stimuli, etc. He's also extraordinarily handy when dealing with electronics, and has created himself a robotic suit of armor to allow him to fight on par with his teammates.
The suit itself contains a variety of gadgets and weapons. From his palms, he can fire white lasers, which can be fired as a single powerful shot that explodes when striking the target, or a continuous weaker beam that burns the target. On the backs of his hands, he can create energy blades that can slice through solid steel. His helmet contains a targeting system that will aid his accuracy when firing his lasers. On his back, he can construct a pair of wings, which are mostly cosmetic but will allow him to fly. His legs and arms contain shock absorbers that can cushion the impact of a fall should his wings get damaged. His suit is also capable of repairing itself over time, kinda like how a human body would heal its own wounds. However, this ability is limited, and will need external assistance in order to achieve a complete repair. Should the energy levels in his suit get low, it can then drain energy sources (batteries, generators, etc) in order to recharge itself by simply coming into contact.
He has also created a bronze-colored robotic falcon named Horus. He is designed for surveillance, though, and isn't that good in a fight. Horus comes equipped with a cloaking feature, 360 degree field of view, and multiple lens filters that allow it to perform its duty. It is also capable of repairing itself over time. Its wings are also covered with solar panels to allow it to regain energy from the sun.
Weakness: He only has the durability of a normal human. Bullets, bombs, anything dangerous can injure him, assuming it's powerful enough to get past his suit. He is also completely reliant on his armor and other machinery to be able to fight.
Appearance:
Bio:
Born into a pretty average family, Press lived a rather boring life as a child. Did well in school, made a few friends to hang out with, and other usual things. When he was 6, though, he discovered his talent for electronics and tinkered with them whenever he could. As he got older, he got better and better at assembling and disassembling things, as well as making his own modifications to these devices whenever he could. However, things started to change after hitting his 10th birthday. Press noticed that some things tended to act a little unusual when he was around. Machines with screens (TV's, computers, cell phones, etc) sometimes flickered with static regardless of whether or not they were on or off, cars and motorbikes sometimes refused to start or failed while in the middle of the road, and other odd events. People began to notice that these events happened only around Press, and they started thinking it was strange. Naturally, when people see something they don't understand, they fear it. Even his own parents feared him and quickly abandoned him.
Press was lucky, though, and put into an orphanage, but life was still tough. Other kids were tougher and strong than him. What could Press do? Figure out how to operate a VCR? Press knew that he had to grow up, and make sure people knew he wasn't a push over. A few years passed, and Press was actually able to make a decent living fixing broken gadgets and doing other little tasks. He had also discovered by that time that he had an extraordinary ability with electronics, and had learned to control it and harness it. His money accumulated, and Press began looking into certain things. He then acquired some raw materials and started his own personal project. A long period of time later, and Press finally created his robotic suit of armor.
Arc Ideas: Not much so far. Perhaps just a few minor skirmishes in the city caused by the mundanes (those without powers) to start off with. Robberies, kidnappings, etc. Buuuuuuut I'm sure you've already thought of this.
Name: Jason Espinoza
Alias: He doesn't really have one, honestly. When he 'fights crime', he doesn't really call himself anything. It may come spontaneously.
Age: 16
Personality: Having been raised as a lonely, if not relatively normal kid, Jason doesn't have some disastrous chip on his shoulder. Living on his own has made him rather used to being alone, and his numerous run-ins with cops has made him wary. Jason is rebellious towards authority figures in general, but laid-back, if not sarcastic and blunt to anyone else, not really having much of a filter on his mouth, if you know what I mean. Being neither a real 'hero' or regular, human 'civilian', he feels like an outcast, not exactly agreeing with heroes to the H, while disliking the general helplessness humans have. Both young and dangerous, but with a quick wit and often dark humor, he is disaffected and disassociated with society, and rather apathetic. He has no fear, and no respect for leaders figures, especially not the corrupted leaders that runs the world in which everyone lives, and this lack of respect has also bled onto heroes. However, Jason has a heart, if you get pass his general 'Fuck off, I don't give a shit about your gun eat my fist' attitude. He purposely choose to live out his life his own way because his eyes were opened to evil as a child, being raised in a rather shitty household in an even shittier part of town. He decided to take a stand and fight back, no matter what happens. That is his heroic trait.
Powers: Jason's powers are...well, the best thing to call it is Kinetic Energy Manipulation. Basically, his body is a living conduit of Kinetic Energy, constantly pumping energy through his body; rather opposite of his usual behavior. This causes his body to adapt faster to pain, move faster than humans, and generally be tougher and hit harder.
However, what this power truly does, in a major form, is make him literally control the Kinetic motion of external forces.
In normal terms, if something is moving towards him at a pace faster than a snail's pace, once it makes contact with any part of his body, it will cease all motion, all of the kinetic energy coming from the force of the object being absorbed into his body. He can then capitalize on the opponent's failed attack, using the Kinetic Energy he absorbed. One of his most used 'counters' is to grab the offending item and use his Kinetic Energy to make it implode, be it the opponent's arm or the opponent's weapon. He also uses the Kinetic Energy to simply kick or punch them in the face with the explosive force of a jet, doing humongous amounts of damage depending on the durability of the person he's fighting.
He can also charge items, as stated above, with Kinetic Energy, so that they explode when making contact with a surface or person. Other techniques includes making 'Kinetic Rockets' by blasting pressurized Kinetic Energy from his form, for a massively explosive display of power, but he is still developing these sorts of techniques.
Weakness: A major drawback of his power is that, if someone slowly slides a sharp object into his form, there's no Kinetic Energy to absorb, so it slides right in if he doesn't move in time. Also, sometimes, if he has too much Kinetic Energy in his form at one time, it can constantly 'implode' inside of him, bringing immense pain and internal bleeding; something that he simply can't heal from in a few weeks, which is why he's constantly using his Kinetic Energy so that his body will be ready to absorb more.
On the off chance that he does run out of Kinetic Energy, meaning the Kinetic Energy he absorbs, and his natural Energy, he will go into a coma until someone, well, drops a boulder on his face from miles in the sky. Overstatement, but it goes in the same context.
Appearance: Jason is seen as a rather lean young man of about average height, with blonde hair in a loose, wild, and yet oddly tamed style that's naturally how it is when he gets out of bed. His eyes are a deep purple, and his body has the definition of someone that exercises on a regular basis, or at least get's physical work done on a regular basis.
Bio: Biography...a history Jason doesn't really bother with. He grew up like most children. A regular, average mother and father. In a really bad neighborhood. His dad was a drunk, and his mom, to put it bluntly, a skank. Life went on terribly normal enough; he had barely enough money to get into school, his powers - which he has known of since Day 1 - made it so that he had a lot more energy than most kids his age, and after getting into school, he decided to do odd jobs around the city; you know, to waste energy, when he wasn't running up and down tall buildings because he could seemingly never run out of stamina. His parents didn't care; they didn't care about a lot of things. Things happened, his father died of lung cancer, and his mother disappeared shortly after. Jason seriously didn't care. He got a normal apartment in the better part of the city, with his money and the government's stipend, and began harboring his powers more, as they grew each and every day. Sometimes, he felt as if he could easily destroy the city if the military blasted missiles at him.
To cope, he decided to try something. Walking home from school, noted a gang...followed them. Long story short, the gang leader tried to hit him with a large bat. The bat bent on his head. Jason uppercutted the man. Man exploded into the sky, never to be seen again. That was that, and Jason just 'cleaned the streets', seeing it as another way to waste energy, and gain energy when necessary. Life continued this way for a while, he having bought his new white headphones and generally rockin' life, when things were noticed. He had apparently went over-board with destroying that entire underground drug smuggling ring. Woops.
Be a hero? Puh-lease. But...it may be exciting.
Other: His headphones are usually blasting incredibly loud rock music. It calms his nerves; Being made of destructive energy can make people rather edgy, after all. Because of this, sometimes he may not hear you, but mostly he pretends to not hear, just to make people angry.
Already talked with the GM in private about my app.
Velrus Amsden Verdel, the Techmaturge
Name:
Velrus Amsden Verdel
Alias:
None.
Age:
16
Personality:
A surprisingly hot-headed and thunderous individual. Velrus can be considered selfish and cruel, as he is constantly using his 'gift' in order to further his own wants and desires, normally disregarding others in the process. His power makes him arrogant and complacent in the face of others, and he tends to be quite audacious when it comes to insulting people as a result.
The ability to create robots to do his bidding has made him lazy. He rarely does any fighting for himself.
Despite his supposedly superior intellect, Velrus is prone to making fatal flaws in his plans, which can sometimes make people doubt that he has any intelligence at all. His mistakes tend to be comical because of this.
Powers:
Velrus is blessed with a supernatural intelligence which mainly manifests itself as mechanical intuition, and enhanced inventing. While it gives him no physical benefits, it allows him to invent new machinery with little difficulty, and gives him an edge when it comes to planning and predicting. Typically, Velrus uses his intellect to create an array of different robots, but on very rare occasions, he creates large-scale machinery, although it is a very slow and difficult process, even disregarding the fact that he needs to acquire the materials to even begin creating.
Weakness:
Despite having such promising intellect, Velrus seems to limit himself by a large margin by simply limiting himself to robots and large machinery. It is more than likely his knowledge only extends to things mechanical.
Velrus can't create something out of nothing. He needs to have supplies in order to create anything.
He has no physical enhancements, and has the average strength of a 16 year old.
There are a lot of things stronger than the average 16 year old.
For some reason, a lot of his strongest robots have a self destruct button. He's not sure why he puts them there.
He doesn't know whether or not the fridge lights stay on when the door's closed.
Bio:
Velrus' life began as a fairly average child born into a fairly average family. He had displayed an interest in machines at a very early age, and had a tact for taking apart toys and reforming them in different ways. This proved especially true when he had reached the age of 7, where he would take apart and recreate things which were remote-controlled and turn them into various other things. This knack for creation was picked up by his parents, and it was made a cultivated and encouraged talent for Velrus to pursue. However, this also proved to be somewhat of a detriment; his parents grew to have high expectations of him now. As he grew older, he was chided for making minor mistakes. He was old enough to create actual machines - albeit minor ones. When he presented his creations and something went wrong, be it failure to activate or the invention spontaneously shutting down - he was unnecessarily criticized. It was condescending to him, and he disliked it, and in turn, he slowly became condescending to other people.
In a presentation taking place a a few years ago, Velrus had created an actual robot with a makeshift blade attached to it. This time, his failure was to give it the means to attack. It had assaulted a civilian whilst the presentation took place. This earned the scorn of his parents, and the populace of the city. Velrus was immediately dangerous. Perhaps he had too much potential. At his age, he would have likely faced some form of arrest or punishment to make an example of him, had he not fled the consequences of his actions entirely.
Since that day, Velrus had been living. Alone. He had found an abandoned mansion which exists on an island not too far from Jump City. In the years that Velrus had spent there, he has refurbished it to the point where it had become a laboratory of sorts. Dangerous to approach the island now, he has been able to consistently antagonize Jump City with an assortment of creations since due to his so-called 'banishment,' and plans to continue doing so for a long while.
Other:
Titans Forever.
Arc Ideas:
. Velrus creates a powerful golem-like robot to try and demolish Jump City. Self-destruct button included.
. Velrus creates a small army of humanoid robots to assault a fast food restaurant. Why? They declined his coupon which had expired 5 years ago.
. Heroes get tired of Velrus' crap and try to assault his lair to capture him.
Name:MC
Alias:Archmage
Age:'19'
Personality: MC is, for the lack of a better word, insane. But its a more playful insane rather than homicidal insane. Due to his core energy being chaos, MC himself is very chaotic and random, and is often trying to find enjoyment in whatever he can rather than take things seriously. This is pretty bad when fighting an enemy as he tends to toy with his enemies instead of taking things seriously. Though if he ever is forced to be serious... yeah he isn't happy that he wont be able to adhere to his id and will find the fastest way to get back to his chaotic, playful nature. Also he loves to conjure or transmute props to empthesis his tricks. Thankfully his outer void energies allow him to have enough sanity to converse with people normally.
Powers:
Combat:
Portals MC can make any size or shape portal up to twice his physical size (5m). Both ends of a portal can be projected on surfaces. however if a portal is to open in the air, the other must either be conjured next to MC, or on a surface.
Spell Copy: MC copies the last ability used by whoever he is copying. If it requires a weapon, MC will create a light construct to preform the ability. Can not copy passive abilities and MC only has 1 use of whatever ability he copies. He can not copy the same ability twice in a row.
Energy Bolts: Basic attacks. Not very strong.
Non-combat/quirk: Conjuration, Transmutation (Self explanatory, mostly used for comedy.) Energy being
Weakness: Physical Impacts, Blind, Questionable mental health, Glows in the dark.
Appearance: Blue/Green/violist mix humanoid looking energy creature with a ball head with large bright green/violet blind eyes and a strange circlet as its only features. A body shaped like a robe with a robed arm for his right hand, and a rounded stump for his left with a free floating crystalline hand of various colors floating around him. He has no visible feet and only forms things under his robe when they are needed. He carries a staff on his back made out of crystals with its head being a sphere that can't decide on what color it wants to be.
For his civilian looks he just wears an actual robe/cowl, gloves, and a mask to not show off his energy origins.
Bio: An energy being from a different reality, MC comes from the void, the space between dimensions where its often rumored many occult things lie. Only vaguely familiar with the physical plane, MC finds enjoyment out of whatever he can do, and became a hero on the simple grounds that being a hero means that people don't bother him when hes just trying to have fun. Being from a different plane of existence, MC is blind to the physical plane, and instead can see energy. This effectively allows him to see objects, but not textures on said objects.
Arc Ideas: Void Adventures
Other: Titans Forever. Oh, and MC acts much like Discord, so fun shenanigans all around!
Name: River Corner
Alias: Snow Star
Age: 16
Personality: River is a fun loving person. She loves to mess around. She tends to go with the flow and does not care what someone does as long as it isn’t dangerous. She is extremely loyal to whoever her leader is and tends to be more of a follower than a leader. She is not afraid to speak her mind. She is very patient when it comes to anger but during a fight, her fuse is about the size of a fingernail. She hates being called “Girl” or being called “girly”. She also hates it when people just call her “Star” without the “Snow” (You’ll see why when you read her powers).
Powers: River is what most would call a “water bender”. She can manipulate water to her will, freeze it and heat it up as well. She can turn rain to snow with just a touch of her finger to a raindrop. She can also speak underwater and is able to breath under water for a limited amount of time and move underwater better than most people. She can create air bubbles for those on her team who can’t. She cannot talk to fish and there is a limit to how much water that she can hold at a time. She also has a naturally cold body, so she doesn't feel heat unless it's burning heat.
Weakness: As it would seem, her weakness is fire, but not for the reason that most people would think. (the explanation is in her bio). She is also weak when it comes to people hurting those that she cares about.
Appearance:
She still has white hair though
Bio: River grew up in a small little cottage just outside of Jump City. Her parents mostly lived off the forest that they lived in while her and her four older brothers would run around and play. She loved to go down to the lake and swim in it or play water games with her brothers. They would help their parents by carrying water back up from the lake and watering the plants that they always kept. River’s powers developed earlier and it mostly started out as her being able to move water and manipulate it, like turning it into a ball. She kept it a secret from her family and everything was fine.
Until she turned thirteen. On the night of her thirteenth birthday, it was a very cold night. Her mother had turned the heater way up and it was toasty in the house. River woke up, coughing on smoke and ash and she realized that the house was on fire. She grabbed her small dog and woke up as many of her brothers as she could, which happened to be only two. The brothers took her outside and then went back in for her parents and her other brothers. They never came back out. She had to use her powers to soak the fire and get it out before she ran back inside, looking for her parents. In the lower level of the cottage, she found her mother and father, dead from carbon monoxide. She then walked into the kitchen and saw her youngest brother and second oldest trapped under a fallen, burning log. The log had broken both their backs. She then heard noise and whipped around to see her oldest brother carrying her second youngest brother in his arms. The second youngest was dead from carbon monoxide.
After that fateful night, her brother found out about her powers, but he didn’t care. Both of them moved into Jump City, and her brother wound up taking two jobs. He raised her as she practiced her powers more and more. One night, though, he never came home from his second job. It turns out, though, that he was shot point blank in the back of the head from a robbery at the bank where he worked. This was only two months ago. She now fights crime as a way to avenge her brother’s death and she poses as something the opposite of fire, as a way of remembering her family as they once were.
Arc Ideas: I feel like you need to have a solid, stationary (either NPC or PC) villain that is against what is going with us.
Other: Titans Forever!! :)
Name:
Basoth Geiunt
Alias:
Dissipo
Age:
16
Personality:
Basoth is an adventurous Teenager, He is new to the earth and doesn't understand the 'rituals' and events that go on in a human life. Although quite confused about humans he still wants to learn as much as he can about them. He finds himself as funny person, but his jokes are not amusing to those not from his world. He is a cheerful person when in and out of combat, He thinks that if a battle is not joyful than there is no point battling
Powers:
Dissipo has the ability to deconstruct him self into small blocks and then resemble himself into any object, For example he could use this power to reconstruct himself into a larger form to give himself more strength, or change into a Remote control helicopter to move from place to place faster, He could also Change his lower arm into a melee weapon, or he could deconstruct himself into the blocks to fit through a very small space. He can't create anything that he hasn't seen before, neither can he recreate animals.
Weakness:
The fact that he is able to change form is due to the electrical charge that the Corrian species is given from birth, So when he becomes soaked in water he will be unable to reassemble or deconstruct himself. When he is changing a large portion of his body it takes a lot of energy, For example if he was to try and make a car he would pass out. He is mainly a Close quarters combatant so vulnerable to long range attacks
Bio:
Dissipo was born on a planet named Avalon in the Arthurian System, An Earth-like planet that his species, the Corrians, had inhabited. The Corrians are raised quickly when in childhood, as soon as they are old enough they are sent out to colonize a designated world, if they are not chosen for colonization they are selected as workers, using their abilities to build, create, and if needed fight.
Dissipo had been chosen as a Worker but did not find his work was satisfying he could only do commbat training a limited amount of times. He stole a small freighter and inputted random co-ordinates he went into stasis for 4 years until he arrived at his destination Earth. Once he reached orbit his engine failed. and he was sent plummeting towards the earth. When he crash landed he discovered the human race and ever since has been learning about them. At first he was a little shocked, but the more he learnt about this race the more he wanted stay, eventually he made his decision to destroy his ship and stay on earth.
Arc Ideas:Other: Titans forever
Name: (horrific insectoid noises)
Alias: Badurong Broadcasting Executive, Lord of the Late-Night Timeslot, The Almighty Lord of Bloodsport, Spandez
Age: Yes.
Personality: On stage, Spandez is cheery, jovial, and constantly smiling. As a gameshow host should be. However, he is also a bloodthirsty tyrant who draws sustenance from sentient creatures' desire for violence. He relishes the sights and sounds of combat, and is eager to throw contestants at a planet until it's ready for conquering. He speaks in broken English, having had to learn Japanese to invade Tokyo, and gets furious when someone mentions the words "Rangers," "Excellent Super-Bat" or "Lightning Round."
Powers: Spandez is, surprisingly, quite quick and quite heavy. His chitinous shell is fluted like a bird's bones, but due to his compressed body, his nerve endings are tightly packed. Thus, while his shell can stop bullets, it will still hurt like the dickens. When the situation gets dire and there's no other way out, he can return to his true form- The Almighty Lord of Bloodsport.
Weakness: He can't resist showing off. He also has a very low pain threshhold until transforming, meaning he tends to chicken out fairly quickly. As the Almighty Lord of Bloodsport, he is easily angered and becomes incredibly bloodthirsty, lashing out at friend and foe alike. Thus, he will not return to his giant form unless absolutely necessary.
Appearance: Here. The form at his feet is his true form, an insectoid creature about the size of a city bus. He shrinks and contorts his arms and wings to appear more humanoid, the wings folding to form his trademark suit and his transparent ears becoming his distinctive eye-markings.
Bio: Spandez is, in fact, older than many benchmarks for "old." He might actually be among the oldest living beings in the cosmos, as he was born when the first sentient creature thought how awesome it would be to see two animals fighting. Spandez is the literal embodiment of bloodsport, from gladiatorial combat to violent sporting events. He spent a long time as a spacefaring conqueror, setting up gladiatorial arenas to amuse and feed himself. But he began to notice that a lot of other creatures would pay to get in… which led to profits, which led to faster expansion, which led to more spectacular arenas, which led to more power for himself.
One day, thousands of years later, an agent for the Badurong Corporation came to Spandez's Skull-Palace of Pain and explained the wonders of television to the Dark Lord of Bloodsport. The Network could not only broadcast his gladiatorial matches to the universe, but harvest the energy created by those enjoying the battles. They even offered to provide more unique equipment and gladiators (be they insubordinate employees, a bored Action Commander, or a prisoner from another world), provided they got a cut of the advertising revenue. Spandez even got a free cable package, which led to him discovering a gameshow. His gladiatorial matches had many contestants, but very few were volunteers. It had many fans, and many viewers, but also many decrying the barbaric spectacle.
But gameshows… people were willing to do insane things for those prizes. They would humiliate themselves in public. They would take candy from children. They would leave people stranded on alien worlds with no food and water if the prize was great enough. And that's when Spandez hit upon the idea that all his gladiatorial matches needed was a fresh spin.
And thus he hit upon an idea. Badurong would offer prizes to his contestants. The contestants would sow chaos and discord on planets. If the contestants won and managed to conquer the planet, they'd get legal ownership of it and a choice between becoming a planetary governor or handing it over to the Network's Mining and Exploitation Branch for a hefty prize. If they lost, they'd often do enough damage to the planet's infrastructure through the gameshow's challenges to make conquering the planet much easier for the mercenary forces of Badurong. This brilliant stroke elevated Spandez from a powerful warlord to chief executive of the Badurong Broadcasting Network and a trusted enforcer of the CEO.
And then Spandez tried to do the show on Earth. The first 15 minutes of the 30-minute time limit looked to be incredibly promising, with the contestant ravaging Tokyo. And then a bunch of weirdies in spandex started beating the crap out of his contestant. By the time the 22 minute mark passed, the contestant was dead, and Spandez was left wondering what the hell just happened. The rest is chronicled in The Spandez Conquest Hour: Season 5,103 (marketed in Japan as Super-Bat's Squadron: Justiranger), but the long and short of it is: The spandex-wearing freaks stymied the invasion for an entire 52-episode-once-every-7-cycles season- the longest anyone's ever managed. Though the rules of the show say that the contestants' government will not be a contestant again, the Badurong Legal Firm found Spandez a loophole- Earth doesn't have a single government. Thus, technically, the show's free to start up on a different government's turf. So Spandez has decided Jump City will be the next contest ground- after all, how many superheroes can this planet have?
Arc Ideas: He runs an intergalactic gameshow. Give me the word and one or more contestants are invading with a hare-brained scheme.
Other: An alien game show host who uses his program to expand an interstellar megacorporation by offering invaders fabulous prizes for performing typical Sentai monster antics to destabilize a planet's infrastructure. Also, "Titans Forever."
Age:
Scragglefur is a stunning 17 years old.
Rats don’t usually live that long.
Personality:
Scragglefur is a very kind and benevolent rat, showing sympathy and caring all too deeply about his smaller rat brethren. He is friendly and helpful to his rat brethren; however, these qualities extend only to rats.
As the Royal Rat King, Scragglefur is prideful and willing to do anything it takes to lead his “people” to their “rightful place”. Anything he does is for the rats within his care and across the globe. He looks down upon people (despite being physically shorter than most) and tends to treat them like most people would treat rats; as vermin. He also happens to view mice as blights and vile little creatures, along with most non-rat rodents.
Aside from this, those that grow close to Scragglefur will find that he is still in tune with his primal instincts, even eating scraps of food from the trashcan. While he views people as vermin, he still tolerates them and will even have a lively conversation with someone. He also claims to be very intelligent, though this is because he is comparing himself to other rats. If you gave him a book (or any piece of paper really) he would eat it.
Scragglefur also has a fragile psyche and is easily defeated in a battle of wit. If he were to sit down and play chess without trying to eat the pieces or board, one would find that he is the type of player to wipe his hand across the playing field and knock off all the pieces upon losing.
Powers:
Scragglefur’s powers revolve around rats and his uncanny ability to understand and be understood by them (because he’s a giant rat). Whilst he can’t summon them from thin air, or call them from miles away, Scragglefur is known as the Royal Rat King for a reason. The rats lucky enough to cross his path have taken to calling him a noble and just leader of the rats and as such, they follow him unto glory. Really all this means is that Scragglefur has an army of rats at his disposal and can befriend more rats to increase his numbers. They also do other things like help him scrounge for food.
Other than that, Scragglefur just has natural rat-like abilities. He can chew through wood with ease, be a general nuisance, occasionally spread pestilence, and much more. As a rat, he’s light on his feet and can be sneaky, but usually isn’t. He’s quick and agile. He also tends to fight dirty. Scragglefur also has a great sense of taste and smell, as well as clawed hands and feet.
Weakness:
Scragglefur is very attached to his rat friends and will be emotionally distraught when one is harmed.
Despite this, Scragglefur’s greatest undoing is his pride. He believes himself to be a sort of messiah to the Rats and believes that he will lead them to their “rightful place”. As such, he places too much faith in his rats and often finds that they are, in fact, not as strong an army as he would like to believe. There is also the fact that, on their own, rats aren’t able to outsmart many people. Disabling Scragglefur would disable his entire horde and cause them to flee.
Scragglefur also hates being outsmarted despite it being a blatantly easy task to do so. Giving him a riddle and asking him to solve it will usually result in him trying to attack you, to save himself the embarrassment of being outsmarted. He also has a phobia of mazes and labyrinths of any sort.
While Scragglefur has a great sense of smell and taste, his eyesight is severely limited when in places that are bright. He isn't very strong either and the quality of the weapons he uses is laughable at best. They’re mostly for show anyways. He also happens to be a coward and it’s not unheard of for him to flee from a fight.
Appearance:
Scragglefur stands at a tall (for a rat) four feet and eight inches and wields a shoddily crafted whip and even more shoddily crafted dagger. They’re really for show, so he can look try to look intimidating. His outfit was sewn by him some time in the past and he’s taken to slowly adding to it every once in a while. He has old and worn bandages that he uses as both binding and to cover old wounds. He’s added on bits of scrap metal to his robe for a little more protection than just cloth on skin. He also has a hood that he can put on, for when he’s not crawling around in the sewers.
Bio:
The origins of Royal Rat King Scragglefur start in a lab, when his royal majesty was still but a humble lab rat and his life was simple and with little purpose. Run the maze, get the cheese. Life was simple, but soon the human scum reached down and put his filthy hands on his royal majesty. In an act of rebellion, his royal highness bit into the hands that held him. Drawing the vermin’s blood, the Royal Rat King Scragglefur was moved into isolation for his rebellion.
It was here that they moved onto cruel tests, poking and prodding him with needles until they were certain our lord was “free from disease”. Then, they moved onto the other vile practices. His Royal Highness Scragglefur was turned into nothing short of a monster. Filled to the brim with inhumane treatments and prototype poisons, they only served to make him strong.
It was when they introduced him to “it”, that he became something more. It was a subtle change at first, he could feel himself growing. Maybe it was an accident, but they studied him more. It was maddening. From his special prison, he was able to see his brethren persecuted at the hands of man. Their lives had little meaning, no purpose, and no motivation. It simply began and ended in the blink of an eye, all except for his.
As the years wore on, he grew bigger and bigger. But freedom was never in sight. In fact, very few things were in sight thanks to the maddeningly bright white light. But the men he could see were slowly getting smaller than they used to be. Or maybe it was just that he was growing bigger? It was all very maddening and it left a scar on Royal Rat King Scragglefur’s already fragile psyche.
Whether through luck or intervention by an outside force, an emergency in the lab saw His Royal Highness Scragglefur and his loyal subjects escaping from the clutches of the vermin known as man. They fled to the sewers of Jump City, easily becoming accustomed to the comforting environment and even building a sort of shanty-town out of junk. But Royal Rat King Scragglefur has better plans for his rats, to lead them out of hiding in the sewers and instead to paradise. Run the maze, get the cheese. This time, however, cheese is interchangeable with “Rat Equality”.
Arc Ideas:
“Exodus”
Royal Rat King Scragglefur would attempt to lead his rats from the poverty of the sewers and into Jump City. Probably into a hotel or something, it’d be more of a nuisance than anything, really.
“Equality”
Scragglefur would spend a while just trying to rally up support for a petition to give Rats the same rights as first-class citizens. There’d be paperwork and everything. Really this one would involve people asking him politely to leave and him ranting about how his voice would be heard or something. Of course, people don’t usually take kindly to giant talking rats.
“Equality II”
Scragglefur would somehow successfully lead an assault on the lab he was born in and try to take it over, so that he could “enlighten” his rat brethren and turn them into things like him.
Other:
A few things.
Firstly, I don’t think I stated this anywhere else, but whatever side will benefit his army of rats is the side he’ll fight for, even if that means switching sides… multiple times.
Secondly, if there’s anything I need to change, I’d be glad to do so.
Thirdly, Titans Forever
Name: Bellona
Alias: Gladiator
Age: 18
Personality: Having been raised in an environment and culture completely alien from any found on Earth, Gladiator is rather ignorant of the customs and etiquettes of Earth, let alone those of the USA. Her approach to the world and people within is excessively blunt, nor does she pick up on the subtle things (like sarcasm and verbal expressions) very well. In some miracle of the universe, Gladiator is a good person at heart despite her upbringing, but she is still rather insensitive towards others - an issue she will have to work on while on Earth. She's the kind of person who if you said 'something went over your head' to them, they would respond with 'that is impossible, my reactions are too fast, I would catch it'. In line with her blunt view of life she believes in retributive justice, an eye for an eye and so on.
Powers:
New God Physiology: A former denizen of Apokolips called a New God, Gladiator is a "being of genetic perfection", whatever that might mean.
This translates into her having invulnerability which makes blunt-force attacks ineffective unless dealt by a being of a similar strength level to hers or greater, but this does not extend to energy based attacks. Similarly, slicing/piercing attacks appear to be able to partially bypass this invulnerability.
Gladiator's strengh level greatly exceeds that of the strongest human. The upper limits of a New Gods strength can be measured in hundreds of tons (and in one notable case, nearly limitless), but Gladiator is actually on the lower end of the New God strength scale. While she won't be punching out Superman, Orion or Wonder Woman any time soon, she still classifies as a Class 70 (capable of lifting 70 tonnes at least, although she is capable of greater when under duress or in extremely stressful situations).
???: It is common for New Gods to develop a unique ability or two past what their alien physiology gives them. As Gladiator is still young (incredibly so, by New God standards), she has yet to figure out what that is. Only time and experience will reveal what it is.
Weakness:
Radion: All New Gods are inherently weak to this mysterious substance to a lethal extent. If applied as a bullet or bomb, radion can kill a New God in one go. In the case of a bullet it matters not where it hits, as it kills through the rapid and aggressive poisoning.
Magic: Not really a weakness but, as in the case of Superman, she has no defences against the arcane. This is not to be confused with the idea of magic fire being able to harm her more than normal fire, or a magic hammer being able to hit harder against her, but more things like targeted transformation, teleportation, curses, and 'beams'. Natural phenomena recreated by magic will have the same effect as natural phenomena against her.
Bio: A New God born of secretive circumstances on Apokolips. Although not an orphan, Bellona found herself placed into the magnanimous and gracious care of Granny Goodness. Her early years were made up of non-stop indoctrination, military training and education. "Die for Darkseid," she was told, "Die for Darkseid" - over and over. Where most broke and became one of the many zealots of Apokolips, Bellona answered the same way each time in her head; "I refuse". She refused to die on anyone's will other than her own. Considered a problem child by Granny Goodness and her other tutors, she was none the less shaping up to be a fine warrior, earning the name 'Gladiator' among the orphanage and lining up to be a potential candidate for the Furies.
That was until she escaped.
It was difficult, but not impossible. The only other (known) escapee of Granny Goodness' care was Scott Free or 'Mister Miracle' as he is known on Earth. Bellona's own method of escape was very simple, using a little bit of sleight-of-hand (thanks to her training with Kanto) to acquire a rarity off of the body of Granny Goodness - a Motherbox. With its transportation capabilities, her escape to Earth was a breeze...apart from the bit where she ended up opening a Boom Tube miles above Jump City, approaching the ground at a terrifying rate. Her landing is going to create a mess, and it probably won't be her ending up hurt.
Arc Ideas:
The Call of Apokolips: Found by her home and with nowhere to go, Gladiator must turn her back on the Titans and even become their enemy, not for her own sake but the sake of those within Jump City and beyond. The grip of Darkseid operates in many ways, and sometimes it is not always willing.
Die for Darkseid:"I am many things, Kal-El. You couldn't even begin to imagine half of them. But for now, I shall take the role of the executioner."
An endgame scenario has arisen - Darkseid is attacking Earth. Parademons plague the skies without number, overwhelming any counter-attack, and Darkseid's lieutenants are clear matches for the Heroes of Earth. Darkseid himself, one of the most malicious and powerful entities in the universe, intends to sap the very spirit and will from the people of Earth, the adopted home of his enemy Kal-El, and then make them his mindless pawns. One mind. One Will. One Life that is Darkseid.
Other: Her weapon is the Thunderlance, a nigh-unbreakable weapon which appears/returns to her hands if she calls it, making a thundercrack sound as it does so. She is very much trained in its usage.
Gladiator fulfils the niche of a team 'Brick' with hints an armsmaster thrown in there.
While Apokolips would usually not bat an eye if one of their orphans did manage to leave (Scott Free being an exception due to his circumstances), Darkseid's forces will be looking for the girl for reasons known only to them...and possibly Gladiator.
Creation was inspired by Drax the Destroyer and Big Barda.
"Titans Forever"
Name: Kobby Aboah
Alias: Anansi
Age: 15
Personality: Kobby is a kind person and ever since he began his journey as a shaman he has been trying to reconnect with his cultural heritage. Because of his ties with the spirit world, Kobby can seem detached and weird. He is very wise and is willing to help anyone who seeks his help as long as it skills aren't used to do bad. One of his flaws is that he can be judgmental about materialism of modern society.
Powers:
Shamanism: Anansi has the abilities of a shaman and is thus able to utilize spiritual magic and see and communicate with the spirit world. This grants him the ability summon spirits of all types to his aid, but he prefers summoning nature and ancestral spirits. Being a practitioner of shamanism allows him to tap into the large well of spiritual power and is able to perceive all things spiritual. Finally he can bring a spirit into his body and share its power and wisdom.
Spirit Bolt: He is able to fire off a bolt of spiritual energy that is harmful only to things that have spirit or soul, but it is can be very costly if used too many times.
Spirit Webbing: Anansi can create a web of spiritual energy that can't be seen by the normal eye. This web allows him to know the location of anything that has a form of spirit or soul when it passes through it. The web has to be connected and lead back to him for it to work.
Spirit Hand: He can move objects with spiritual energy and amount of size and weight that he is able move is determined by how much energy he puts into moving the object.
Shamanistic Healing: As a shaman Anansi can spiritually heal lifeforms by soothing and healing their spirit which can heal emotional and physical traumas. This ability can take up a great amount of energy and requires a good amount of concentration.
Spiritual Meditation: Anansi can enter meditative state and detach his spirit from his body to enter the spirit world to seek wisdom from the spirits as well as balance out his spirit to lessen stress and pain. He also uses meditation to replenish his spiritual energy.
Spirit Music: He can use his instruments to play music which allows him to summon spirits of many kinds depending on the tune and instrument that he plays. These spirits are visible to an ordinary person and can be used to frighten, aid or spiritually harm a person.
Spirit Guide: Anansi has the aid of spiritual Osprey who acts as his spirit guide.
Summon Instruments: this ability allows him to magically summon his instruments.
Weakness: His powers are weak against iron and silver and his offense abilities are useless against any enemies that do not possess a spirit or soul.
Appearance:
normal look
costume
Bio: Growing up in the country of Ghana was peaceful and the country has modernized over the recent years. But there is a price that comes with being a modern country, many of the cultural heritage of its citizens were lost to the ever advancing science and technology. For Kobby it was hard trying to keep his heritage close to himself and adapting to the modern world. His grandfather was the main reason for him to try and keep his heritage.
His grandfather told him stories about the spirits that roamed the land and of the great shamans of the past. It was then he learned about the long line of shamans in his family. When his grandfather talked about the magic that was all around them Kobby imagined himself as a great shaman and doing great deeds for people all trhough out the land.
These dreams eventually became a distant memory when he became older and his ties to his heritage began to weaken. Everything changed when his grandfather disappeared and Kobby felt a strange call draw him towards the savannah. One day he decided to take a trip to the wilderness and there he had an encounter with the spirits of Africa. They told him that his grandfather had passed over and that Kobby was chosen to become the next great shaman of Africa.
After they had told him the spirits put Kobby into a coma like state and he spent the next three years learning the arts of shamanism while in his mystical dream state. Once he awakened Kobby was instructed to journey to America and there he would find his destiny. So he did as he was told and went to America. Once there he saw the heroes of the country fight off great evils and Kobby believed that this may have been what the spirits meant for him. And so he donned the costume of a shaman and eventually joined the Teen Titans team hoping to find out if this was his destiny.
Arc Ideas:(This is to help me out in case I run dry on ideas.)

"Titans Forever"
Alias:
Vito
Age:
17
Personality:
As expected, Riley could come across as stoic and unsociable, however his cold demeanor is only the foundation for the true personality of this boy. Although usually mute, he can hold a deep conversation with those he would prefer time with, usually people he had been around for longer than a few moments. Unfortunately, he occasionally opens himself up to those he becomes infatuated with immediately with, being destroyed by rejection.
One of Riley's favorite past times is completing logic puzzles, as he finds exercising his mind fun, especially when you have to control two spirits. As such, he partially idolizes the Riddler. Despite this, his usual battle plan is to simply ambush the enemy and attack them at full force, this tends to result in failure for him.
Powers:
Fortunately for Riley, he has the gift of controlling two spirits from the grave to assist him in battle, Spook and Boo, whose names he constantly mistakes for each other as they appear as the same ghastly, grey entity. The duo have the power to control and move tangible objects at Riley's whim, doing as he asks; they act in such a way that is akin to poltergeists. However, they can seldom become overpowered forms of themselves, especially when the power of the supernatural is heightened, such as on full moons and Halloween.
Weakness:
Riley is incredibly vulnerable to anything that blocks his thought pattern; this ruins his mental connection to his bretheren spirits and as such he is rendered useless.
Spook and Boo cannot perform much if there is nothing to control; they need an object to take over, as taking over a person is too much hard work and it pains them to do so.
If you punch him it'll probably hurt.
Bio:
Riley was born in to the perfect upper-middle class family that feasted on fried chicken occasionally, his mother being an estate agent whilst his father had a simple office job as an accountant. He enjoyed things that didn't seem real, such as how things used to fall off of his shelves randomly - his parents labelled this as natural despite not giving a reason, to which he grew irritated from. Riley knew there was much more to life than, well, life. He saw death as a gateway to another world where many more people existed.
After gaining friends from after-school groups that were interested in the unexplained, him and his comrades ventured to a haunted house on the outskirts of Jump city. After many attempts at a successful séance, spirits were finally contacted due to Riley leading it; they named themselves Spook and Boo. All of the other children ran out immediately, yet Riley's strong twelve year old heart was trying to handle the pressure of the fright that coursed through his veins. The two ghouls tried their best to petrify the poor kid, yet he prevailed as he saw them as two annoying people instead of unexplained beings.
His acceptance of the ghosts intrigued them; no mere mortal was to stand their fright, unless of course Vito was better than the average Joe, perhaps there was something different about him. Of course, they only stand with him as assistants to his cause - whatever that may be. He himself does not know where life will lead him, to be the villain or to be the hero... Such choices fell upon inquisitive minds. Often, if you had to ask yourself that, then you were probably a villain, yet it is unknown if this bias will stick with Riley. With Spook and Boo to accompany him through his own journey to unravel himself, Riley was finally beginning to understand the complexities of life; who to save and who to leave to suffer.

Titans Forever
Name: Marilyn (True name unpronounceable with the human tongue)
Alias: Echo
Age:
Taalunia Age: 74 Mercuron Passes
Earth Age: 17
Personality: While initially very stoic, Marilyn has a tendency to 'Reflect' the personalities of others around her on instinct. This is a given trait with her race and has allowed for their survival when unbidden circumstance came to greet them. She is very observant, settling for listening rather than talking, and not holding back on her customs of honesty when provoked for advice. A quick learner, Marilyn is known for her durability and fast thinking when times get rough--a perk when your head is usually clear of most human distraction. As time goes on, she has the potential to warm up to or to become bitter about her situations, and will find time to express it where others might find it uncharacteristic of previous actions. She is obsessed with the color red.
Powers: Hyalokinesis, or put simply, glass control... to an extent. Marilyn is able to transverse/teleport to different areas on Earth using mirrors or large glass windows and to date has yet to show a limit of distance, also able to see through smaller 'windows' (i.e. looking through a compact mirror will result in the possibility of spying on master plans. On the offense, the only 'glass' Marilyn can control is her own organic material--her blood. By making decent sized lacerations on her skin, she can create glass weapons or projectiles to be used to attack those who would strike her. She can also use it free form.
Weakness: Due to Marilyn's body literally working with liquid glass pumping all out through her body, she is incredibly heavy for her petite size. Her weight is similar to that of a fully stocked vending machine. Considering she also uses her blood to attack, it's also an issue of fatigue coming in fast and thus weakening her greatly. (On the upside of this fatigue however, her body is lightened by the removal of the heavy blood and her speed is greatly augmented)
Appearance:
(crappy sketch I did of her in her superhero outfit like ages ago)
Marilyn is colorless, her blood gives her no pigment aside from the metallic sheen in her eyes. Most of the clothing she wears has sensible floral patterns and she wears a single chain-circlet with a crimson metal flower upon it. Note the open spots on her forearms on her costume, where she could provide her skin lacerations to create her weapons without being obstructed. The back is more open as well to provide quick defense from an ambush.
Bio: In brief, Marilyn comes from a planet known as Taalunia where the people are made up of a variety of metals, stones, and other elements. When her city is overrun by space pirates, she is made into a slave with her best friend Karmina. While she is subjected to a few humiliating tasks, her friend gets the worse end of it and changes completely. Cautiously following her friend's instructions, they are able to escape their situations via escape pod, but are forced into different containers when they are spotted, and thus are separated from one another. Marilyn lands in the middle of New York City's Central park, where she moves quickly to evade the eyes of strangers. Currently she wanders aimlessly, not knowing what to do and hoping to find her friend.
Arc Ideas:
-Karmina's return
Taalunians, specifically more so her species, adore the coveted color red. And what's more red than human blood?
-Space Pirates Homing Beacon
Marilyn has escaped her imprisonment, but at what cost?
Other: Titans Forever
Here is her original character sheet I made for her. It has more information about Taalunians and a better, more in depth description of Marilyn, at least I think so.
Name:
Real name is unpronounceable by Human Tongues, But goes but the name of...
Marilyn
Age:
Taalunia Age: 74 Mercuron Passes
Earth Age: 17
Gender:
Female [-]
Taalunians are Asexual beings that procreate through 'metal letting' but appears to be Female
Appearance:
Taalunia standards
All people on Taalunia, the planet Marilyn resides from, are deprived of color. Their world is a mix of nothing but white, grey, black, and the intense, rare and highly sought out, red. Thus, Marilyn is quite average for a Taalunian, white pure white skin and white hair with clothes just as pale as she. However, there is one single flower piece in her hair that her mother gave her for her birthpassing, in Marilyns favorite color, red.
Skills:
-Standard Taalunia Defensive training. Intermediate
-Standard Taalunia Minor Intergalactic Knowledge
-Increased Intelligence capacity than normal humans
-Standard Increased Flexibility to sometimes impossible seeming proportions (to Humans)
Powers:
-Reflective Travelling-
Marilyn can travel through mirrors, see what is on the other side, or walk between reflective surfaces. It was a common form of travel on Taalunia and she does it naturally here as well.
-Metal letting-
All Taalunians 'blood' is nothing but liquid metal. Upon slicing her arm she is able to form blades from this life substance and use it to attack foes, whether its forming blades, metal whips, armor, etc. Too much of this cause weakness from blood loss. Cannot control metal matter outside of what is organic to Taalunia. This is their end all to everything. To make life, they metal let with whom they most adore to create a new Taalunian, and to take life the attack each other with their life fluid.
-Eyes of the Otherworld-
The ability to see otherworldly beings on different planets is a given from Taalunians as well. When a Taalunian rusts (yes, that is how they grow old and die) their conscious mind has to be delivered to the Otherworld by a living escort. It's not uncommon for family members to escort their dead's consciousness by themselves. Allows for seeing spirits on the human world as well.
Personality:
Initially, Marilyn appears to be stoic and a complete stick in the mud. However, after time you'd grow to learn that Taalunian emotion is shown, just in a very stiff manner. Over time, she may relax and speak as humans do, but for now, she appears to be tightly wound. She has an obsession for the color red and is drawn to it like a fly is to honey. It's said that it's the only thing that can drive a Taalunian mad, with its fluorescent color and foreign vibrancy unseen to their world until recently. She deeply enjoys the quiet and finds herself being drawn to parks or city streets at night, away from the insanity of the world always buzzing with noise. Taalunians, after all, enjoy their peace and quiet.
Backstory:
Note: By earth standards she is pretty damn heavy with her veins full of liquid metal. Knocking her back is like trying to tip a soda vending machine.
here's my villain
Name: Nikolai Gregorovich
Alias: Bolt
Age: 17
Personality: Nikolai is very goofy and crazy, he acts almost like a cartoon character, but with a great amount violent tendencies. Many see him as a joke and don’t take him seriously, but that would be a mistake. In truth his whacky personality is a way of making his opponents underestimate him and give him a chance to exploit their mistakes. The heroes consider him a villain, but Bolt doesn't really care, he just does jobs for whoever will pay him the most and he is perfectly fine with killing.
Powers:
Electricity Manipulation: Nikolai can manipulate electricity of all kinds in many different ways. He can discharge electricity from all parts of his body and fire it out of his hands as powers blast and bolts of lightning. When he is in direct contact with an enemy Nikolai can sometimes discharge enough electricity that they combust.
Electricity Absorption: Nikolai is like a living rechargeable battery and can absorbed electricity from the environment and attacks to replenish his reserves of electrical energy.
Electromagnetism Manipulation: By using his electricity Nikolai can control metal by covering it in electricity.
Electricity Mimicry: This power allows him to transform into living electricity for a very short moment and allows him to move at incredible speeds and fly for a short distance. Nikolai only really uses this power for dodging and short distance flight.
Lightning Animals: Bolt can create animals made out of pure electricity and have them attack his enemies. They are not solid and disappear once they make contact.
Weakness: If he becomes drenched in water then his powers basically short circuit and become very hard to use. His powers are weaker against rubber and will not be as effective. If Nikolai absorbs too much energy then he will experience a lot of pain and his powers will become uncontrollable. Finally do to his psychological problems; popping a joke can easily distract Nikolai.
Appearance:
Bio: Nikolai was born in Russia to a poor family and for most of his early childhood he never had much, but things changed when his metahuman powers had activated in a public place on his twelfth birthday. It didn’t take long for a shady organization known as The Shadows, to take him away from his family and began an experiment to turn him into a deadly weapon.
They trained him to master several martial arts and perfect his electrical powers. Because of the experiments and harsh training, Nikolai was driven nearly insane and he desired to escape with the other superhumans who had also been kidnapped by the organization.
The Shadows did a good job of breaking their subject’s will to rebel, but Nikolai managed to resist and hatching a plan with some of his fellow captives, they made their escape. The fight was brutal and many of the metahumans died, but they were able to escape and watch the facility burn.
After their escape they went their separate ways and Nikolai wandered the globe as a superhuman mercenary going by the name Bolt and becoming infamous among the world community as a major international criminal. Eventually he made his way to the United States where he spent a good amount of time taking mercenary jobs and having regular violent encounters with the American superheroes.
Arc Ideas:(This is to help me out in case I run dry on ideas.)
Other: he uses his electromagnetism to fly around on a metal surfboard as his main mode of transportation.
He also uses two medieval Russian swords for fighting. One is called Vodka and there other Pepsi
"Titans Forever"
Name: Aren Steele Alias: Shockwave Age: 16 Personality: Aren is, for lack of a better term, a smart ass. Always having some kind of sarcastic comment or quip to fire off at whoever has the misfortune to garner his attention, his snarky behaviors tends to land him in some trouble from time to time. He's jovial lad though, always looking to put smiles on the faces of others with his admittedly acquired taste in comedy. You could say he's a bit of a clown in that regard. Although he doesn't have very many friends thanks to his habit of poking fun at damn near everybody he meets, the lack of camaraderie has inspired him to be quite the loyal friend to those who can put up with him. He possesses a strong sense of personal justice, having always been the type of kid to speak out against mistreatment in his trademark vocal fashion, although it often tends to get him in a bit of a pickle thanks to his rather brash way of stating his feelings. He also fancies himself a bit of a ladies man, although whether or not he truly does try to woo the lasses of the world of simply does it for the amusement has yet to be seen, as finding the his true intentions can be quite a difficult task.
Powers: Aren possesses the ability to create and control vibrations, giving him dominion over several fields. First, and perhaps the field he is most experienced in, is the ability to manipulate sound waves by changing the vibrations which comprise the sounds themselves. With this, he is capable of dampening sounds he or others create within a radius of himself by working against the waves to silence them. He is also capable of doing the opposite and instead causing the vibrations to grow in intensity, causing a simple cough or whisper to change into a concussive blast of sound thanks to the changes in air pressure such violent vibrations cause. He is able to manipulate the direction the vibrations that comprise sound take as well, helping him direct his attacks so he doesn't blast everyone away.
Secondly, he is capable of generating vibrations himself. This can range from something as simple as causing his body to pulse softly to enhancing his physical strikes by forcing his vibrations through the opponent's body, causing internal damage thanks to the unnatural shaking it causes. With this ability, he can also cause items to 'shake apart' and if he concentrates hard enough, he's even capable of causing small, faux earthquakes by contacting the ground and channeling his powers into the earth below, causing it to shift constantly.
His third ability and one he's yet to explore very far, is the ability to influence temperature with his abilities. As heat is merely the amount of movement found between particles, he can cause these particles to vibrate quicker and in doing so, cause the heat in a particular area or object to increase, or do the opposite and cause them to vibrate more slowly, thus causing the heat in an area of object to decrease.
It is likely his powers are capable of doing more, but thanks to the complexity, he has yet to find any others, or lacks the finer control over his abilities to try some of his more outlandish ideas.
It's worth noting that, because his body literally exuded vibrations that can dissolve things from the smallest particles, his body is particularly sturdy when compared to baseline humanity. His bones more dense, muscle tissue more resilient, organs more difficult to damage. This advanced physique allows him to keep up with the more physically gifted.
Weakness: As his powers can be quite volatile, he poses a threat to his allies or the very civilians he tries to protect should he lose focus over his powers. Because vibrations are quite sporadic, he also has some difficulty attaining precise control over them. This is especially true in the offensive sense, where externalizing his abilities to harm opponents only makes it harder for him to contain them, allowing clever opponents to exploit his lack of control with underhanded tactics.
Appearance:
Bio:
Aren was born to a fairly average family within Jump City. His father, a researcher at a local chemical lab provided for the family while his mother stayed at home to keep the house in tip top shape and care for their young son. His early childhood was just as boring as anybody else's. He played with his friends, got himself into trouble but generally proved himself to be a good son. His life truly didn't deviate from the norm until he entered middle school and like so many in his age range, hit the wonderfully awful experience that is puberty. The changes to his body as he came into manhood also brought with him something truly outside of the norm; his powers.
He didn't notice them much at first. He'd occasionally feel like he was buzzing, chattering, nothing too different that couldn't be explained by his ample consumption of caffeine. It would occasionally get worse whenever he exerted himself, with a few time incidents that nearly resembled a stroke with how violently his body would shake by releasing its pent up vibrational energy. But it never impacted him, no matter how terrified the people around him were. He just... vibrated some times. He didn't truly catch on to it all until one day, in a way so many young heroes find out of their abilities, got himself into a fight with a group of other, older boys in his school. Being a mouthy little git, he managed to piss off his school's local bully not a week into his freshmen year.
The brute ended up hoisting him up against a wall after school was out, winding back to clock him in the eye for his sass. In an attempt to protect his gorgeous face, the cocky lad screamed out for him to 'STOP'... A dangerous thing to do, when your body held absolute control over vibrations. He screamed so loud, he blew the bully, his friends and every car window in the parking lot out with a blast of concussive air akin to a sonic boom. He managed to weasel himself away before anybody came looking for the source, leaving the bullies strewn about the pavement. They never came forward to say what happened, either out of fear, or because they couldn't hear a damn thing when people asked what had happened.
After that initial 'jumpstart' of his powers, they seemed to flow more naturally to him. He soon discovered he could both vibrate his body at will and control the pitch and volume of the sounds he made. After exploring them for a couple more months, he advanced them to the point where he could use them offensively. Scream loud enough to rival a jet engine in force and volume, cause brick and stone to shatter and dissolve by shaking them at a molecular level, even influence the energy between particles to heat his cocoa up or suck it away to cool his sodas down. It hadn't occurred to him, however, to try and use his powers for 'good'. Plenty of heroes existed in the world already and he was more than happy to leave the bad stuff to Superman and his league of spandex clad companions.
... Until they disappeared, of course. That was when he decided to invest in the spandex.

Bio:
Ironclad was constructed by Paradigm Robotics after the disappearance of the League meant to be a replacement for the fallen League members, but his rushed production and limited testing made him considerably weaker than his predecessor. Because of time constraints his designers though to best to keep him as a remote operated asset rather than try to make an AI. This was not a problem initially as Ironclad only had to contend with mild criminals and the like, but as time went on and the realization came about that it was possible that the League may never return thing started getting real rough.
During a mission out to stop a reported grand-theft of a Lex Corp shipment things turned south for Ironclad and he ended up almost being dismantled completely by a missile-tube. After this event the designers recovered the mess of what they had ruled the incompetence of remote control, and began again at making Ironclad. This new model would be stronger in almost every way as well as have some new additions to boot. They added an Nano-tech system from self-repairs and went ahead and gave him an AI system knowing that a computer can react better and faster than a remote personnel.
After activation Ironclad, given the name Jason for his AI, was loaded with all the information of past and recent events. Now up to speed they attempt to reintroduce him to the public, and let him help to protect the world once more.
Arc Ideas:
Organized attack by a group of the major villains on the new Titans forcing them into hiding, and this in turn allows the installment of a large scale criminal order that unofficially runs the political systems.
Other:
Titans Forever
Personality: Sarah can actually have conflictual personalities. She honestly would prefer if people left here alone and vices versa. Being sociable was not something she grew up doing and she could be very cynical. Even with those close to her she would act sassy. But her transformation into Guardian Angel compels her to assist others. And if that requires her to act extremely outgoing and friendly then she cannot stop herself.
Powers: White magic - First and foremost, transforms her into Guardian Angel. The magic can be used in a variety of different ways but the most common are for defensive purposes. Healing, barrier projection, and short range teleportation. A passive ability she has is to sense danger nearby. It is not exact but merely alerts her of danger. Sarah is still developing offensive uses but to date she can use her magic to temporarily grant herself strength and speed boosts as well as launch what appear to be imbued feathers from her own wings as bolts. Obviously her wings give her flight.
Weakness: While more athletic as Guardian Angel, physically she is not any more durable than a normal person. And using up too much of her magic will cause her to change back into Sarah.
Appearance: Civ:
Hero:
Bio: Growing up in a bad side of town made life pretty tough. Street smarts and fighting were a must but it was only a matter of time before Sarah fell in with a bad crowd. The things they did were small time, petty theft and psudo-terf wars. Somebody somewhere must have been desperate because her little gang got recruited for a big job knocking off a local museum. The payoff was just too good to pass up and they would even be provided the equipment and plans to pull it off. The reality was that the people who wanted the loot needed as much distance from the crime as possible. Getting a bunch of clueless kids to do it for them made that easy.
Things went without a hitch. Everyone got out with the loot, some weird broken stone tablet. Lagging behind with the loot Sarah missed the rondevu with their employer long enough to avoid getting nabbed like the rest of her gang. She did however see what happened and got away. Word quickly reached her that if the goods were not brought like promised that her friends would be killed. Things were getting too real for Sarah to deal with and she had no idea what to do. These guys clearly did not hold up to their word. What could be so important about a busted up old rock? It sort of looked like a puzzle though. Needing a break from the stress she busied herself assembling the pieces. In the back of her mind though she wanted to help her friends and it brought her back to things her mother used to tell her about guardian angels. Her friends could definitely use one now. Putting in the last piece her silent wish was granted and her days as Guardian Angel began.
Sarah's new found power came with an unusual catch. The normally rough and difficult to work with girl would spin on a dime whenever danger or something bad happened. What's more those situations were not something she could ignore. If she could help then whether she really wanted to or not she felt obligated to do so. It was almost a sixth sense and she would be there to save people. Not long after the Justice League vanished which left a huge void to fill. Involuntarily thrust into a much bigger role than she ever wanted many of her actions are now dictated by her strange alter ego.
Arc Ideas: Having a much higher workload than before Sarah has not been able to investigate the origin of her powers. Nor does she know who the organization was that hired her to retrieve it to begin with. She is sure that if they found out Guardian Angel's secret identity they they would come for her.
Age: 19 in Mercatorian years, not accounting for time spent in cryosleep.
Personality: Cartog looks down on humans, seeing them as a normal exterminator would see an exceptionally aggressive termite infestation- superpowered termites, yes, but still termites. On the other hand, he's not exactly motivated, and tends to keep to his hours - which he announces before he starts working - unless seriously provoked.
Powers: Implements of Klesh - Cartog possesses a mystical map and stylus with advanced geoforming capabilities, allowing him to alter the surrounding terrain at will. Generally speaking, the smaller-scale the effects are, the faster they come into effect. The Implements, being powerful artifacts of Cartog's race, are keyed to his genetic makeup and all written components are in a dead language that predates the human race, so it'd be tough to find someone else who could use it. The Implements are, additionally, effectively indestructible. Mercatorian - Cartog is a Mercatorian, a race of slug-like bipedal humanoids characterized by an immunity to psionic attack and precise low-level telekinesis (he can lift about as much as an average person can lift with one arm). In addition, Cartog has access to a number of advanced technologies possessed by his race, the most commonly used being a belt that projects an invisible field of force around the wearer's body thus safely deflecting most forms of attack.
Weakness: He makes a point of only working his designated hours, and rarely puts in overtime- if he can be stalled until it comes time to clock out, he'll usually just leave. Also he's really squishy without his forcefield. Like, anemic middle-schooler squishy. Also, salt hurts him and large quantities make him shrivel up.
Bio: Cartog the Surveyor is the last surviving inhabitant of Mercatoria, the others having died in a tragic terraforming accident. Cartog, a surveyor working for the Greater Interplanetary Exploration Society, was off-planet at the time cataloging fauna. When he found out what had happened, he turned in his resignation and left for parts unknown, taking on jobs as a freelance exterminator. At some point in prehistory, Cartog was contracted to rid the planet of their ape infestation. A simple enough job, had he access to a Mother Box or the like- as it was, he was forced to use slower-than-light travel, laying dormant in cryosleep for roughly 250,000 years until he had finally arrived on Earth. Touching down on the planet, he realized that they had evolved over the time he had spent in transit, developed all sorts of technology, built up cultures, etc. Good for them, but Cartog had been paid in advance, and he wasn't about to bail on a job just because the pests in question had created their own civilization.
Arc Ideas: Fumigation: Cartog gives up on trying to exterminate humanity the hard way and decides to set off the Yellowstone supervolcano in an attempt to start a new ice age. Overtime: Someone attacked Cartog when he was off the clock. Now he's pissed, and he isn't stopping at 5:00 anymore. Supercharge: Velrus gets his hands on an orgone power cell. Wonder what he'll build with it?
Other: Titans Forever. It is important to note that Cartog's alien technology is in fact magical rather than technological in nature, and runs on a mysterious power source known as orgone energy.
