[OOC] High school DXD (reboot)

This is a high school; at least to everyone else it is. This is a normal school but what isn't normal is who goes to school here, since a previously undiscovered house has now taken up residence in the old school building. To explain; during the great war between the angels, demons, and fallen angels their were heavy casualties to all sides and nobody really won the fight and as a result the ending only meant death to the most important beings. Like most of the demon kings and god, however during the war their was one house that had a child that was well hidden during the fight and survived. This child was the soul survivor of the proclaimed Amadeus house one of the demon king houses. As the war ended the child learned the skills he would need to defend himself over the years and now has taken residence in the school and has used the old clubhouse and made it his headquarters so now the demon must form his evil pieces and take up the responsibilities that all demon houses must abide by. Will you be the next one to join his house of devils?

as a devil you will have a weapon according to the piece you represent, all are different according to who is the wielder this will give you a complete look at all the weapons available to you

a rating game

a rating game is a sort of competition of devils vs devils with their evil pieces. the object of the game is to use strategy and your pieces to take down the other side this being the most accurate idea of a chess game with people and their own skills. A strong rook could take down 4 pawns for example and vice versa, all of it depends on how all the skills of each piece is put to the test. this gives another description of the concept if needed

name= Lorenzo armadas age (if your human, or the hybrid of one)= pure blooded devil so unimportant looks= personality=the hard thinking strategist able to think two steps ahead of the enemy during a fight. Even out the fight Lorenzo is always thinking so its no surprises he is an A student at the school and as such is in the running for school valedictorian. Lorenzo tends to overthink things sometimes and sometimes he needs his queen to snap him out of his self induced brainstorm so he could get back to the situation at hand seeing as how Lorenzo will rarely go for the simple option and opt for one that wont fail or has a plan b c d and e. Lorenzo is also a nice guy once people get to know him and he cares about those in his service but he doesn't go easy on them if they happen to disobey an order he issued. history=ever since he was found after the great war Lorenzo was trained mercilessly from the other devils that would bother to help him. Lorenzo didn't bother saying who he was knowing better then to think that they wouldn't kill him outright just for being of a house blood so he simply trained and once he was old enough he announced who he really was and it came as a shock to most devils except for the other pure devil houses, apparently they knew and didn't want to risk Lorenzo getting hurt by the others while he trained. As such he was given his family title again but that didn't mean he was able to relax he needed to make a name for himself and restore his families honor so afterward he went to the human world and went to find those that would join his house... your evil piece (the pawn, the rook, etc.)= the king your weapon (i.e sacred gear, special sword, etc)= the chains of Amadeus. his magic passed down from his ancestors allows him to summons chains and chain like weapons from magic circles and sometimes summon snakes to battle. name= Aya Kisaragi age (if your human, or the hybrid of one)= karasu-tengu looks= personality= highly curious and always searching for the next big thing. acts and wishes to be a reporter though has a habit of using flowering words to make things more appealing to the reader though she always sticks to the truth as she knows it. history= a karasu tengu while young she is fast knowing to be one of the faster ones. She trained from a young age to utilize her speed to her best abilities as a defense to create after images of herself and or in some cases to get behind the enemy to attack. While training she became skilled with the use of a sword for combat. your evil piece (the pawn, the rook, etc.)= knight your weapon (i.e sacred gear, special sword, etc)= hisou no tsurugi(japanese holy sword able to discern the nature of those facing revealing a weakness) how you became my evil piece (I had to have found you dying in some way before I gave you the offer to join me)= A karasu tengu youkai found dying after a run in with rouge exorcists. Hunting her for sport she ran before being brought down and left for dead at a abandoned shrine.

Like perhaps a different dragon and a slightly different ability. I don't wanna be too OP, but I think I could make it work. With your permission, of course.

Name= Oohado Miria Age= 17 Looks= Do ignore the chibi one. She stands at 5'2''. Personality= Proud and hardheaded, Miria hates to be looked down upon, mostly by those in her family. A self proclaimed Onmyodo genius, she will do just about anything to prove herself in front of others. While the most she seeks is for her to be acknowledged by others, she still has a very hard time admitting things. Her demeanor is usually cool and relaxed, but she can lose it rather quickly too. Miria is also shy with strangers, oddly enough, and she greets most strangers by insulting them verbally. Also, she usually talks without an accent, but whenever she is mad, embarrassed or something of the like, she starts speaking in Kansai-ben. Miria is also unable to forgive any kind of offense towards her, or to her king, since she takes it as an insult to her as well, and she'll usually pick a fight with whoever upsets her. History= Hailing from Osaka in the Kansai area, she was taught Onmyo magic since she was young, with the intention of having her become a professional Youkai hunter. Of coruse, that went for her and her other 3 siblings. Working during the day and teaching magic to his kids during the night, saying Miria's father was overworking himself would be an understatement. Many times he fell ill and was bedstruck for a while, and they had to pick up basic classes with their mother. Of course, his father was just as proud as Miria, and he didn't want to rely on his own father. Living in a household filled with mostly men, aside from her and her mother, the youngest and the only woman of the siblings decided to take action. She went to her grandfather and started learning even more complicated Onmyodo spells. It was obvious she was a talented Onmyouji, but the reason as to why she was so talented, despite being the youngest was a mystery. Even the eldest who was the most talented until her arrival was left in the dust by Miria's potential. The siblings grew up, and most of them left the house, including Miria. The eldest one was the only one that remained in her parent's house. Miria currently assists an specific high school, after meeting someone who was kind of a turning point for her. Your Evil Piece= Bishop Your Weapon= Darkness Pact, her Sacred Gear provides her with endless black paper talismans she can use alongside her Onmyodo magic. However, they run out if Miria's fighting spirit ever dies down or if she is completely outmatched. Onmyodo Magic, her magic allows her to summon different things, from Shikigamis she has contracted to different elemental attacks, alongside barriers and curses too. Most of her magic needs either paper talismans or long incantations to be casted. How You Became My Evil Piece= Sibling hatred is one of the most horrible things. Miria would have lived her life without a major care, she would have continued her Onmyo training, had it not been for her siblings. They were always at odds, but for once, they got together. To kill Miria. The prodigy, the savior of the family, the new Abe no Seimei. She was called many names, most of them exaggerations, given that her talent was still raw, but her siblings couldn't stand that. Being beaten, and even worse, by a woman. Assaulting her in her appartment, no matter how skilled an Onmyouji is, they can do nothing without their paper talismans. She was beaten to death like that. And then, she caught a glimpse of a ray of hope.

Dude I'll change whatever, and do as you wish, but this is my first attempt. So, here it is. XD Name: Taiga Yukimura AKA The Dragon Emperor Imitator Age: Formerly a normal 17-year-old human, now a reincarnated devil Look: Taiga is an average looking young man, who prior to being a devil had no real redeeming features. He stands at about 5'6" weighing about 132lbs. He generally took to wearing his school uniform, but out of school would of course, don casual clothing, usually jeans and shirts. Since becoming a devils he wears clothing more along the lines of that in the picture, minus the armoring, as he finds it comfortable and more fitting of the fantasy-esque lifestyle he's adopted. Personality: Taiga isn't a genius, but he is a quick thinker and quick learner. He isn't much in the area of skill, and keeps average scores in academics and physical areas. However, if there was one thing he had was a determination unlike any other, in the game world that is. He never quit and kept going. He wasn't a burden either. He often helped out his older sister and the like. Since then though his determination has made a shift to real life. He constantly wants to get better. He genuinely works hard and often displays a need to get stronger and be better. He will not waste this chance. History: Taiga was never really one to stand out. He was always the kid in the back of the class or closed off in his room. In truth he was a gamer. Probably why he exercised so rarely and hardly socialized. Sometimes looking back, he thinks he probably should have. If he'd done more, or anything at all, he could have stopped that terrible incident from happening. You see he'd live most of his life gaming and staying home and helping out their. But in truth, he couldn't do much. He didn't have many skills and he wasn't all that strong. He relied heavily on his sister. She was his caretaker since his parents had died when they were young. He treasured her care and support. He wished he could have helped her when that man barged in. This guy was looking for something, but what it was he didn't know. But his sister tried to get him out. He hit her. Any guy would jump in after that right? So of course, Taiga jumped in. He had too. Only, the guy seemed to have found what he needed. He apparently wanted to prove himself to some bastard boss of his. That's why he threw some beams or some crap like that into Taiga and his sister. He laughed saying something like he didn't have time to wait and figure out which one had it. Whatever that meant... All Taiga knew was he wanted power... If he had power... Wait... No... He couldn't do anything. This wasn't a game. And what would he have done? Protect his sister. He was sure she was dead. Tears streamed down his face. He couldn't believe it. This event made him who he is. This was the day he met his King. The man who gave him new life. All because some Fallen Angel was making a mess in his territory by chance. With his sister dead, and him struggling to stay alive, mumbling something about being better, and needing power to protect what he wanted. Must have left an impression on his King. Because he made him his Pawn. Now Taiga goes to school, completes his devil tasks and even works part time. He hasn't picked up a game in a long time. But who needs that when his life practically is one. Though, much more dangerous. At least he has been able to keep and maintain the home his sister left him. He wishes he could have done more that day. But it is his motivation to move forward. To be better. Yeah. This is his life now. Your Evil Piece: Pawn (5/8 of them to be exact) - The traits of Pawns is the ability to promote into a Queen, Rook, Knight, or Bishop in enemy territory or with the permission of their King. Your Weapon: Sacred Gear - Great Dragon Swords - These two swords mimic the abilities of the Great Dragon Emperors. The red boosts the user's abilities as time passes, etc. The blue one halves the power of whatever it touches and adds it to the user's power, etc. Taiga can use only one at a time unless he were to acquire the a balance breaker which takes the form of added armor (the armor in the picture that is on the clothes) on his outfit, and allows him to use both for a limited time. As of now Taiga can only use one at a time and regardless of which he uses, he has a long way to go as he has little to no redeeming facts, apart from his determination to become better and his loyalty to his allies and king. How You Became My Evil Piece: Long story short, Taiga and his sister had been attack by a fallen angel. His sister died. There was hope for him, but not her. His King stumbled upon him and the angel and killed the angel and made him a pawn.

Name= Harusame Kochiya Age= 16 Looks= Personality= Proud and stubborn fits Harusame perfectly she is proud of her ability no matter what may have happened she is thankful that in the end she got a second chance. Through this she often believes in what she wants to making it hard to work and or convince her once her mind is set. This often leads to conflict though a peaceful person at heart she can let her emotions speak for her rather than anything else. History= Born and raised by the sea Harusame always had a strong affinity with the water and the sheer enjoyment from being near it. Though with all things her family was gone most of the time fishing often leaving Harusame with her older sisters who noticed she had a strange ability in this case she had limited control over gravity from making things heavier to lighter. This scared her sisters and while her parents did not know grew fearful of her and what she might do to them. Your Evil Piece= rook Your Weapon= Gaea’s Foundation, her Sacred Gear provides her with the ability to manipulate and control gravity around her body. With this she can effectively hit 10 times hard by affecting the gravity around her fist to make it hit harder. Though it has its limits she can’t affect someone else but her own meaning it is limited to her body or items she is holding. How You Became My Evil Piece= fear is a scary thing and it can lead to many a person’s demise. In this case it was something similar it was a fear of the power she possessed that caused her sister’s to abandon her when she needed it the most. It was during a accident and a large wooden boat crashed on top of her. While she was out in the sea. They feared the power she had since it was unknown and as such could not be trusted so they gathered that it was a mercy to allow her to die. Though like all clouds it does have its silver lining in this case it was a second chance.

A big name in the art department, Kaelani is especially skilled at drawing, playing instruments and is known for her angelic like singing voice which has earned her the nickname Angel by those who admire her skills; most of whom are known to remark that she has the "voice of an Angel".
