"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -Edmund Burke
Welcome to a world of supers. People with extraordinary abilities. Creatures of myth and imagination possessing extraordinary abilities. Creations that possess extraordinary abilities. A world straight out of your comic books/cartoons/anime/manga. (There are no aliens though, these guys are all alone in the universe.)
Susan Edison is one such super and one day she thought she wanted to make the world a better place. Together with four friends, they formed "Steel Fish", a currently all-girl superhero team dedicated to fighting crime and injustice in an international scale and the first ever superhero team announced to the public. With funds from a member's multi-millionaire family, they were well on their way to achieving their dream.
However, the world was huge and the team was too small to handle them all. Their solution? Get more members! And you could be one of them.
Of course like all things, being a 'superhero' is not as simple as they thought.
Main Members of Steel Fish:
Susan Edison a.k.a. "High Voltage" - an 18-year-old American high school girl who has the power to bend electricity to her will, donning a purple spandex suit and a standard superhero mask for a costume. Her standing in school and her status as a superhero allows her to cut class or skip days of school altogether. But this doesn't mean she slack off in her studies, she still tries her best to graduate. She is the replacement leader of Steel Fish after Aqua Maria suddenly disappeared.
Hua Ling a.k.a. "Rapid Star" - a 13-year-old Chinese girl who has superhuman speed, donning a female aviator's outfit and goggles. A competitive and energetic girl and the daughter of a former Chinese official who resigned and emigrated. Like Susan, her superhero status allows her to skip school but unlike Susan, she actually slacks off.
Elizabeth Chelsie a.k.a. "Ant Girl" - a 16-year-old English girl who has superhuman strength, donning an ant-themed dress for a costume. As a lady of high upbringing, she is homeschooled and has more time to devote to superheroing though this did not make her spoiled or bratty. Instead, she is a gentle, patient soul. It is her family who finances the team, a technology corporation called 'Cheltech'.
Rinko Kagamimori a.k.a. "Disaster Lily" - a 14-year-old Japanese orphaned girl who can control plants, donning a green bodysuit and a standard superhero mask. A taciturn person whose feeling are hard to decipher. Usually calm but has a brutal personality. She is currently out of school and so available 24/7. Her plants are very diverse.
Maria Suarez a.k.a. "Aqua Maria" - a 19-year-old Mexican woman who has power over water. The cool and calm former leader of Steel Fish who suddenly disappeared half a year after the formation of the team. From what Susan could understand, Maria apparently left to search for a secret superhero team who can help them tremendously.
Recurring Factions:
Steel Fish - a superhero team whose HQ is currently in Japan after the US government told them to station themselves somewhere else. They did not know why but complied anyway. They have outposts all across the world and has teleportation technology to travel to any of these posts in seconds.
Tavern - not necessarily a team but a congregation of supers available for hire. Basically super mercenaries all of them hanging in a bar. Can be a friend or a foe of Steel Fish depending on the situation. The Tavern is based in Greenland lead by former US Army Ranger Thaddeus North a.k.a. "Commando" who laid down very strict rules for the 'patrons' and the 'customers'.
Underworld - comprises of crime families, crime lords and mafia groups who usually shoot each other. However, they will do anything to get a legal, official pardon for their crimes or get their crimes overlooked. Much more brutal and ruthless than the Tavern. Usually resorts to immunities and other law loopholes to protect themselves from Steel Fish and the Government for their supers are subpar to the other factions. Of course it's in their best interests to not be discovered at all.
Government - all the first-world governments of the world who each secretly have a super team at their disposal. The last faction you want pissed at you since they have the best supers in the world (except maybe Steel Fish) and they're very easy to get pissed. Though if your super ability is powerful enough, they might recruit you. Governments have different interests.

Other Stuff
>While this may seem Western comic-themed, it's actually a healthy mix of anime/manga and comic books. That's why Russia has a magical girl in their super team.
>All mythical creatures might be true though societies of them are generally hidden since the Government does not like them public.
>This is a narrative RP but since it's action-oriented: during fights, simply input your character's plan of actions and I'll decide whether if it's successful or not. Don't be mad if it's not, okay?
>Yes I ripped this off an H-doujin. If that ain't okay, just say so. In fact if I'm doing anything wrong, just say so.
>This is not a fast-paced RP so some patience required.
