shadow felt the wave pass over him and grunted doing his best to fight the unconsciousness but it was a losing battle. he fell to his knees but when he was fully on the ground he managed to keep himself going. he was not able to move but he was still able to see and think.

"i'm no fool. i will go and check the bodies before i do anything. i have been cheated before and its not happening again." Kalin said as he jumped down to the ground.

Shadow lasted a few more seconds but then he passed out himself.

Kalin walked around them all and then stopped over shadow. he took out his dagger and held it under his nose. the blade fogged up slightly. he shook his head and then backed away from them all. he knew that they were still alive but he would act as though he didn't. she had tried to cheat him and that pissed him off. he would betray her as soon as he could. he walked back and then said " fine lets get going already. i don't want to be around here when the bodies are found." with that he walked deeper into the crowds of people and vanished from sight in seconds.

Ansel walked with Kalin to wherever he was headed "Where are we going, Ohh great and mysterious boss" She put her hands behind her back and swirled it around awakening the group and then disappeared with Kalin, Her new boss

Kalin rolled his eyes and then said " well you tell me how to help you get what you want and that is what we do right now. i want to take care of that quickly."

Shadow shook his head and cursed under his breath. he then sat up and vowed to learn what the hell just happened and make sure that it wouldn't happen to him again. he looked at the group and then said " okay who knows what just happened to us and can tell me more about it."

" You do know i'm a witch, I have the power to read minds." She stopped and then "Well I want my Western Wastes back, The Witch Kingdom, we kill alot of Rogue witches " She then sent a mind message ' Shadow, get back to Adarlan, Take the group ' and then started to walk with Kalin again

"yes i have figure that out and i also know that you tried to cheat me. you actually have no claim to my help right now but i will give it to you just to be sure that when i go to kill shadow you will not get in my way. or do i have to sell you out to someone that would want you dead?" Kalin says bluntly. as he made up his mind on the path to take. he would let her tell him the best direction and see if that matched his path.

Shadow got the message and then shook his head. *to hell with all of this. why can i hear a voice in my head now. i swear when i find out who did this i will make them wish they had left me alone. all i want is to kill Kalin.* he though to himself. he thought for a second on how to turn the message to his own use. " i know that i have done very litte other than show up but i don't like being out in the open like this. i also don't like this city and they way people look at us. is there another place we can go to not be here?" he asked as he looked around to see a few people glaring in his direction.

" You have an Asterion horse, Right Kalin, The Western Wastes is ninety miles straight on " She said and then added "How would you fare against a fully fledged witch, not very long I assume, and a witch is usually right" She climbed up on the horse, waving her hand ever so slightly to make Kalin fall asleep in thirteen minutes.

Kalin smiled and then turned and said " well i think that since you cheated me of my kill i will take my leave of you now. i don't think you care about what happens next so have fun with your goals but unless you help me with mine i won't give you my aid. good day you foolish person." he then walked off knowing full well that she would likely use magic on him but not caring. he would get to a safe place and then let it do what ever she wanted it to do to him. he had a horse but when it broke its leg on the way here he was forced to kill it and didn't bother getting a new one yet. so he had no horse right now and she knew it he thought to himself.

"This is taking forever " She brought up her fist, and then opened her fist then made motion with it that was down, to make Kalin fall asleep instantly and rode back to the group and told them that Kalin tried to kill her

kalin didnt have the resistance that Shadow does so he fell face first right when she did the motion.

Shadow looked around the group and then said " we should leave here and get somewhere safe people here are not to happy from what i can see."

"HELP!!! K-kalin.. he tried to kill me but i made him sleep " She shouted in a worried tone as she rode back to the group and called for Shadow

Shadow turned and looked at her and then said " i doubt that. i think its more of you crossed him so he crossed you. he's not an idiot. your stronger than him just by looking at you. he would have to have a good reason to attack a stronger foe." Shadow drew his one of his swords and then said " Show me where he is either way. i will kill the bastard for what he has done in the past." he took out one of his potions and drank it quickly. this would keep his senses strong and make it hard to fool him with any type of magic. he knew Kalin was tricky and didn't know if he could use magic to aid in that.

She walked with Shadow to the place where she used magic on Kalin and she was 100% percent he was still there because She is the strongest Witch, in the realm, there was no way that Kalin would have been able to get free of the spell that quick.

Kalin was just waking up when they got there. he was strong willed and was not just going to stay down. he turned and saw them both coming. he drew his neropoison dagger and threw it at shadow. Shadow saw the dagger and dropped to his knee. he saw the dagger head straight for the new woman but didn't care. he stood up and continued towards Kalin. " you have killed you last victim your bastard. i will end your life here and now." before he could do anything Kalin smiled and then drew a vial of poison and threw it at Shadow. the vial broke on his armor and splashed in his face. the smell was enough to tell anyone that it was a fatal poison. Shadow laughed and then said " i have made poison stronger than that and drank it. I'm still here and your not killing me with poison Kalin." he lunged at the man but he move out of the way and Shadow let go of the sword to throw one of the daggers that he had on a trigger behind his wrists. the dagger hit Kalin in the leg and the paralytic poison immobilized the leg in seconds. Kalin dropped to his knees and looked up at Shadow in anger. he drew another poison dagger and tried to throw it. Shadow stepped forward and took the dagger and slammed it right into Kalin's neck killing him twice over. Shadow turned and looked around to see that the dagger Kalin threw the first time had missed the woman by a foot. he sighed and then walked back to her and said " there he is dead now tell me. Why do i fell like you have talked with me before? don't try lying to me i'm not Kalin i won't let you make a fool out of me." he put his sword away so that he was not armed making it look safe to tell him a lie. but if he felt he was being lied to he would slit her throat with a dagger in seconds. he didn't have to think this its just what he would do out of reaction or at least try to do.

"Excruita Yolh oiyer" She chanted and that made his arms weak and made him go on his knee's and "I use a telepathy spell to talk to people, Telepathy allows me talk to people that are far away and I'm sorry for knocking you out the first time" She lowered her head as if to say i regret that choice

the spell dropped him for only a few seconds as he forced himself to focus on overriding her magic. he stood up with effort and then reached behind him and grabbed one of his daggers. he held it by the blade and handed it to her before saying. "I don't care what your reasons were but next time you try that crap on me use a dagger. because i will fight your powers at all times. i'm strong willed and i wont stay down. you have to use something that i can't anticipate. i'm a lot stronger that Kalin ever was but i still have a lot to learn. also i know magic when its used against me. just a skill that i keep secret. nice try though. keep this dagger and remember that i could have used it if i wanted revenge on you and you wouldn't have been able to stop me but i don't hurt for fun. lets go back to the group now." he then waited for her to either take the dagger or leave it alone.

She ignored the Dagger, she instead Enchanted it with a Shock power which would hurt whoever was stabbed with it "It's Enchanted.. you happy? " She said sweetly before enchanting his Armor with Extra Toughness

" hmm nifty skill and it will make it more useful so thank you. still i don't care what you did before just be careful in the future. i don't like being the enemy of anyone." Shadow's eyes focused on hers and he then said " i'm not an evil person just one who has lost their way. don't force my hand please i don't want to hurt people that i know."

" I dropped you with a wave of my hand earlier, so i guess we both don't know what we are up against. " She smiled and looked around before going into the Inn and crashing out on a bed.

Rowan stood looking at Aery, He was puzzled because there were no more enemies to kill, but then seen the way she looked at him "Thanks for saving me from my doom." He smiled before sheathing his swords, then walked back to his Inn Room and hid his swords in a place that would be hard to find "Aery a talk if you will" He commanded

Aery swallowed nervously. She was terribly dizzy and absolutely exhausted, all the adrenaline being gone, but she had better see what Rowan wanted. When they got to his room she watched as he put his swords away and shut the door.
"D-d-did I do s-something wrong?" Her voice was trembling. But then, so were her hands, so was her whole body, from both nervousness and exhaustion.
