Fairytale Academy

We all know fairy tales. We grew up listening to them, wishing that our knight in shining armor would come save us or that we had a chance to rescue that special princess. Well, what if those fairytale characters were in our world and were teenagers? How would they act, what would they do, and would they still have their happy ending? Welcome to Fairytale Academy, where fairytale characters from around the globe come and go to school, almost like normal children. The children live in dorms and tend to tease each other, just like normal teens. But these characters are far from normal. They come from different stories from around the world, each being unique in its own way. What if you were Peter Pan and you could use pixie dust to fly around the school and draw on the ceilings? What if you were Cinderella, and in charge of prom this year? Either way, it’s sure to be magical

1) None of your characters know each other. They don't know about the other stories or about the other people in the stories. 2) Because a lot of this was based in the "princess", "prince" Era type, the classes will be mostly things of those nature, but in modern day context. Let me explain. Everything around the children will be modern, but their classes won't be. The children don't really have any idea that they are from a story, but they do know that they are special. Classes will consist of things like ballroom dancing, fencing, history, and such... 3) We will all be arriving first day. Each of you have received a letter to the Academy. 4) There is a reason why I chose Belle. You will see why later in the RP. :) 5) Added a new rule. You can have as many characters as you can handle. 6) The picture of the dorm room is up on the first OCC Post. 7) I am changing the summary portion to once a week. That way we can cover more. :)

So, couple questions. Well first, a comment. Your picture for Kayley is not working for me. It doesn't show up, is what I mean. I can't see it. Now, couple questions. One, will Beast be in Beast form at the academy or normal? Or is a werewolf type thing? Second, I have not seen Quest for Camelot in a long time, will you refresh me on who Kayley is? And this is for everyone, especially you. I have heard of a few RPs doing this. I will be posting a summary of the day's events before I go to bed each night. That way people can stay caught up. And I am not giving a strict time limit on when you need to post. Post whenever you feel like it! Just make sure two people have posted before you post.

Is This Better?

Beast will function the same way he did in the movie. He is always appear as 'Beast' until the whole one true love thing happens an THEN he will change back into the 'before the curse' appearance. He won't always look like Jason Momoa. -cries- (Jason Momoa is beautimous.) Kayley is the main character, or at least one of, in Quest for Camelot. She looks like this... She goes along with the other (blind) guy, can't remember his name along with the two headed dragon character. So ye. If you still need a refresher, I'd say look up the wikipedia entry. I had to to find out Kayley's name. xD Also, I will not be doing both. I will only do one so choose which you'd like me to do more. I noticed you had Belle so I was wondering if you'd prefer me not to Beast or what. It's up to you. :P

Beast

Name Adam "Beast" Cunningham Age 17 (Appears to be in his 20s) Story They Are From Beauty and The Beast Family None Crush/Partner N/A Currently Abilities Very Strong, 'Rage' Mode induced by emotions (fear and anger mostly) Personality To call him rough would be an understatement as Adam gets very angry very easily. Many people tend to stray away from him because of this and has caused him to develop a sort of complex. He doesn't believe anyone could ever love or even like a person like him. He has been called cruel, excessive, and brutish. Most people don't see the soft side of him that the people that worked back at his home saw as whenever anyone does happen to see it, he gets so angry that they quickly forget whatever they saw. He does, however, when prompted, talk to others of his own volition but it is particularly rare. History Adam grew up as a lonely rich prince in a large castle like home. His parents died when he was relatively young and he has lived with his servants ever since. One day, an old woman came to his front door but because of her appearance, Adam turned her away, not able to take the ugliness of her appearance. Because of this, the old woman cursed him and changed his appearance as well as those in his service. His appearance changed and he became very rough looking. Whenever he went out, women would shield their children from them and men would look at him with anger or confusion. No one would talk to him and soon he became recluse after all of the grief he got from his appearance. Knowing that the curse could be lifted if the young master fell in love, his servants convinced him to go to an Academy with that purpose in mind. Every now and then Ms. Teapot sneaks in to come and check in on him and make sure he's doing as he promised, finding someone to love. Name: Rylan "Rumple" Stiltskin Age: 18 Story They Are From: The Brothers Grimms' Book of Fairytales Family: None Crush/Partner: None Abilities: Rylan is a master magician Personality: Rylan is the embodiment of the word "Rude". He has deep insecurity issues, so he builds himself up by tearing others down. He takes pleasure in making peoples lives miserable. He loves to torment people who are smaller than him and he can always be counted on to pick on someone. History: Rylan was the son of a wealthy businessmen. His father was very absent when he was a kid, so he was raised by histogram and their maids. When his father was home, however, it wasn't any better. He and Rylan always fought. His father constantly told him that he wasn't good enough: that he should stomp anyone who got on the way of his goals Because of his fathers hateful relationship, Rylan became angry and ended up taking it out on others. At extremely infuriating times, his anger often got physical and on a few occasions he hurt someone. Other: If accepted, this character is meant to be a bit of a bully of sorts. Don't hate me for something this character does XD I'm actually a really nice person :P

While not exactly a classic fairytale story, I believe Elsa was a better choice for my character. My alternative was Eilonwy from the Black Cauldron, but I kind of just backed out. If Elsa isn't what you had in mind, I can switch with little issue. I have saved my progress for Eilonwy.

Elsa from Frozen

Elsa 17 Years Old -Story- Frozen -Family- Anna(sister), Parents(deceased) -Crush/Partner- -Abilities- Manipulates ice and snow, even to the extent of creating it. She has some control over her powers, but it is difficult as she can still freeze things unintentionally. -Personality- Elsa presents herself as calm, reserved, introverted, poised and regal. Her lack of expressing emotion and tendency to be very blunt and strict plays right into the nickname of "Ice Queen" or comments about her "Heart of Ice" as she does appear to very cold and short with people. Internally, however, it is a different story. Elsa is rife with emotion but she just bottles it all inside. She struggles with the complex her powers present her and she is constantly in a state of anxiety and loneliness as she has to keep her distance from those she cares about. Not to mention the soft subject of her parents' untimely death, she is secretly struggling through life. -History- Born a Scandinavian, Elsa enjoyed a lavish lifestyle in the European North. Although her powers existed since the time she was born, they did not manifest until Elsa's fourth year of life. It was minor at first, her skin cold to the touch and sometimes items would chill and freeze, but for her sixth birthday she was able to make it snow. Inside her house. While innocent enough at first, her powers had almost killed her sister in a bad case of hypothermia and cold exposure at the time. Thankfully, her parents got to the hospital and had Anna treated. But the days of merriment were over. Elsa and Anna were separated and eventually, Elsa was separated from the rest of the world. Sheltered, Elsa began the trails of trying to control her powers. Years would pass and Elsa hardly saw her sister or anyone else outside of her parents, the maid, her tutor, and the odd occasion for a babysitter. Her parents were Elsa's only friends but sadly, they would perish in an automobile accident. Police and the other driver blamed it on the weather conditions but it didn't matter, Elsa and Anna were pretty much alone and they couldn't even see each other every day. Some days were worse than others as Elsa would unwittingly freeze her entire room, sometimes her entire house, in a sheet of ice. As her teenage years rolled by, she got better and better at control. It was difficult but Elsa would dare a few encounters with Anna, just to feel alive again. Her progress was slow but a sudden invitation to a private academy offered a bit of hope for a faster. Fairytale Academy. -Other- I think we all know the appropriate theme song.
