Roxy shook her head. She hadnt been expecting an answer. She was just curious what kind of answer they would give. She eat in silence for awhile. "Food will depend on performance. The better you perform the better you eat. Vlad will reward those who do their part. But he wont make it easy. He wants soliders and none of us are soliders."

"You speak as one with experience. Is this not really your first attempt in this program after all?" Acht didn't really look up from the food as it asked, but couldn't hide the curiosity, nonetheless. There was plenty to wonder about in this facility, and the people just seemed to become more interesting as the day went on. "Now that I think of it, did you ever say which of the two got you in here before?"

"That's because I have been here the longest. I think. I am not good at following the rules so I have gotten past phase two. I can tell you the basics nothing more. Mostly because I ignored most of what the mad scientist said. Roxy explained while she eat. She know that this would make the others suspicious but there wasnt alot she could do about her knowledge. "Well, to be fair, the doctor doesn't speak in a way that inspires one to listen. That's why he uses other means." The hybrid took another bite of the food as it considered the information so far. Maybe... "I can listen to uninspiring speeches, but territory is something I'll have trouble with, I'm sure. As for why we haven't met, I suppose we weren't ready yet. It may have been dangerous to their plans in some way, or perhaps some of us..." A piece of fish fell apart under the fork, making the redhead frown at the failed attempt to pick it up.

"You only get to met the ones that survive round one. The first step is dangerous and not everyone survives. The thought is that you can morn people that you don't know. So only the survivors get to met." Roxy explained as she eat. She didn't bother telling them that making it to step two meant they would survive. Just that they were stronger than some.

"Ever the courteous one, that doctor." Acht sighed and finished off the food on his plate before sitting back a bit. "For someone who doesn't listen, you certainly have learned quite a bit. Not that it's my business."

"In any case, I do hope the doctor sees fit for a break at some point. I don't fancy drying out because he doesn't have the need for submersion every few hours, but perhaps he has a plan in place for that as well that he merely didn't care to share."

Roxy shrugged. "I've learned alot. Mostly that Vlad is a mad scientist without a cue. He wthinks he can make criminals soldiers. I don't like, trust,or respect Vlad. I'll do as little as I can get away with."

" yeah I don't really like the doctor to much. But when faced with life sentence. I would rather be a soldier."
She said eating a bit the small treat. All of a sudden both of her antennae pop out of her hair as if reacting to the sweet treat. Deciding to keep eating as if nothing happened, hoping no one else would notice them.

"Hmmhmm. I doubt anyone here truly likes the doctor, even the staff. Not really much you can do when he legally and somehow financially has what seems to be total control, though." Lowering its voice a bit further until it was almost muttering, the hybrid continued. "I wonder if perhaps we'll see the sun more often as soldiers, however. I'd love to see a bit more than just the facility someday." Returning its voice to a normal volume, Acht hummed a bit and propped a hand under its chin. "I know it's probably not the favored topic, but do you know what activity might be next?"

Being pleased that no one actually noticed that her antennae were out. she kept smiling trying to draw attention away from them. So didn't like the two much.

"Since we're getting lunch it will most likely be gym." Roxy answered looking at the clock on the wall. She figured that Vlad would pick something that would make atleast one of them look foolish he liked to do that. He wanted them to be a team but he couldnt seem to resist the urge to pick on them. "You might as well get use to those stupid antennae. They arent going anywhere."

"Very well. I never liked gym, but what can we do? Besides, maybe a few things have changed." The hybrid picked at the skirt of its dress for a moment. "Anything we should be wary of, or is it just standard high school boredom with more chances for reward and punishment?"

Roxy snorted at the question. "Vlad will expect you to preform above a high school level. Mostly it depends on where you are. He will want to evaluate how the animal DNA has changed you. He will do the tests you get in high school first. Strength, endurance, and speed. Once he had a basic number he will push you beyond that."

" That sounds fun..." Beatrice said giving a evil eye to Roxy for mentioning her Antennea. It didn't seem like the other hybrid noticed though.

"But still high school tests? So basically what I asked for. I'd honestly be disappointed if he really expected only that level of performance. Surely he didn't expect to fail that terribly." The hybrid smoothed out its clothes and gave a bored glance toward the others once more. "Well, then, here's to hoping that this will at least be entertaining in some manner."

"The test are redundant and stupid if you passed all the high school tests."Roxy said with a smirk. She turned towards the gym. She hadn't finished high school. There was nothing wrong with her brain. She was smart enough. But she lacked education before coming her. She simply didn't want to pass the tests. She knew what would happen if she did. She wasn't going to be a turned into a killer.

Max was already in the gym wandering round pestering the guards for food. Seeing he wasnt getting any he flew up to the nearest light snd perched on it sinisterly.

Roxy leaned against the wall of the gym. She was curious about the others. The would be doing physical preference test. She waited for the other to take their places and Vlad to tell them what they were up to. "We will establish your current levels of strength, speed, and endurance. You may choice your test. If you choose strength you will lift as much weight as you can. If you choose speed you will run as fast as you can. If you choose endurance you will run as far as you can."

Beatrice stood a bit away from Roxy. She could do either endurance or speed. She really couldn't choose one over the other. Being what she is, she could probably run for a while. While in the speed compartment She was always pretty fast as a child. " What are you doing?" She asked Roxy, wanting to make sure she didn't have to compete with anyone. the boy on the light was kindof freaking her out.
