The world of Ellon

The world of Ellon is a lonely little planet floating out it the great Cosmos, the only one for light years around that can sustain life, with more ocean than land which is covered with Great Mountains or thick forest; this however hasn't stop civilizations from growing and countries from forming.
Cities have been built, species born and cultures founded, it is rich with history and lore that has been lost and found throughout time, hidden in the vast oceans or lost and discovered within the roots of the great forests that cover the world.
The world to a lone soul would have seemed so vast, so vibrant and filled with the lives many creatures that lived in any place you could think you can think off. It was such a beautiful world so full with peace happiness, the species and races lived in harmony and the many cultures would live aide by side understanding of one another, sharing their knowledge and lands with those around them. However as beautiful as this world seemed to the ignorant and the naive, never meant that it was never without its own share of dark history, creatures lurking in the shadows and preying on the innocent, corruption in the hearts and minds of men and woman of those who lusted after blood and destruction.
It was during a time that very few left in the world remember, as it was erased from the history books almost completely, when a sickness plague the planet and slowly corrupted it from the inside out by taking over the minds of the lesser races. This was the time where devastating wars broke out all over between the once peaceful races, this corruption sought to kill many innocent and to topple great cities. For every city that had been built another soon fell, every species that evolved another went extinct, and every culture that was founded another was crushed. This was truly a dark time in Ellon’s history. As the world became darker the weaker and peaceful species took to hiding within the thick forest, under the great mountains and within the vast, those who could fight and those who loved to fight stood their ground; they laid entire countries to ruin with their wars and corrupt governments. As technology grew so did the wars and the killing, giving the sickness what it needed to grow and corrupt more of the world.
Our story takes place during a time of peace between the nations, as governments try to settle their differences to end the senseless violence and rebuild the devastated lands, and rebuild from what little they have left. Eurion is one of the most modern countries in Ellon and the third largest out of the, it is a land mostly governed by human kind as it is their homeland. Eurion is cut off from the rest of the world by mountains that range from the west to the east, down at the southern end of the country, a sea to the north-east and a vast forest that covers most the northern part of the country, with only a river and a couple of roads that pass through it.
A civil war has broken out within Eurion that threatens to destroy the country, breaking and rotting away from the inside out as the land is divided in two, a war between the wealthy upper class folk and the lower class that are facing poverty. No one quiet remembers when this war broke out but everyone remembers why.
The poverty ridden lower class had turned to the upper class for help, however instead of giving that help however the wealthy refuse and instead turns their nose up at the poor, and in response the poor retaliate by attack the homes and cities of the upper class citizens of the country. Outraged the upper class send their troops to strike down the military camps that were scraped together by the poor and end the rebellion, this in turn started the civil war and for many years Skirmishes and guerilla attacks have been both won and lost on both sides.
It was many years after the battle had started that our team find each other, trapped in the country for so long even though most didn't even live within the country, some may have been passing through and some might have been holidaying or visiting, however none of it matters now as they have become as much a part of this war as the rest of the country. It is up to our team to resolve this conflict to save the country and its people, and find the many secrets that hide within the chaos of war.

Rules

1: Treat other characters how they should be treated, if someone is a traitor or a hero treat them as such. And if a character is suppose to be stealthy and undetectable in a certain scene then they are stealthy and undetectable.
2: No Angels or Demons or Hybrids of the two, they are to powerful, rare to find and generally do not care about the mortal world
3: Respect others
4: The GM's can change and edit these rules however they wish.
5: No god-modding, Mary-suing or Gary stuing, and no power-playing
6: Do not argue in the OOC, it puts people off. Take it to the PMs please
7: No L33T (w3 c4nt r3ad l1ek this) do not “text speak” unless it is in context
8: A paragraph is not mandatory but it is preferred for every post, meaning three to five sentences
9: It should be known that the possibility of Death and severe injury is real, You can and probably will die in this RP, stay smart and don't go off on your own to fight an army by yourself
10: Have fun =3
