Grimm
Grimm moved almost instinctively to catch Julie, moving a leg forward to balance himself as he caught her with an arm under her back and another around her waist. This brought him very close to Julie’s face, his ice blue eyes mere inches away from the sparking jade of her own. This was the closest he’d ever been to a living girl, and it caused something inside him to stir, a desire he’d never felt before that pulsed through his veins with a wild ferocity. Had he not been trained to control his emotions, to separate what he felt from his actions, he didn’t know what he’d do.
As it was, he slowly rose Julie up, feeling his heart beat quicken and an unknown heat come to his face. A blush had settle on his cheeks, as he finally righted her, clearing his throat before he continued, his voice a bit less steady, a bit more real and human than before. “No need to apologize, and a pleasure to officially know your name, Julie.” Grimm gave a dry swallow, not sure how to feel about. . what ever it was he was feeling. “So, do you want to continue to dance, or take a break and get some punch or something?”
@LiferusherXavier
Xavier blinked as Roanesca seemed to be inviting him to dance. Odd, to be sure, but it wasn’t like he had anywhere to be. He thought about explaining why he tripped to her, but decided that it would only seem like an excuse at this point. So he simply nodded, and proceeded to introduce him.
“Okay, I’ll do my best not to then, My name’s Xavier Lyone, and it’s nice to meet you. May I please have your name then.” He already knew her it, of course, but it would be creepy to admit so, even if he heard it while she was talking to her friend(or at least, that’s how he thought he knew it).
