One day, a mysterious figure dressed in black approached you. Considering your exceptional ability at avoiding people you are not willing to be involved with, this was an unexpected approach. The man in black remained silent, just handing you an envelope. The envelope contained 2 airport tickets to new York, an address and a specified date and time and the following invitation.
Fellow Criminal,
Your unique talents at your field of expertise have made you a canditate in a first-of-its-kind group of individuals. You are invited to join the Perfect Crime .Inc, a corporation in which the members offer their services in order to accomplish crimes that each one of you individually could never do! Break ins into the world's most impenetrable places, assassinations of the most well-protected individuals, helping the escape of convicts from unknown to common people prisons will be part of your jobs, among others, as members of the corporation. Of course, you will also be profiting from your actions, profiting more than you could ever imagine! I will be expecting you at the specified time, date and location.
X
Intrigued by the contents of the invitation, you decide to follow the instructions of the letter. Thus, you find yourself at an abandoned building. Entering it, the man in black is waiting for you, there, saying:
"Welcome. For avoiding unnescessary confusion, we have given you and your colleagues different times for your flights and arrivals here, so you wouldn't have to meet before getting here, that's why you are alone. Please follow this path."
With these words and the press of a remote in his possession, the man in black revealed a secret underway staircase, which led to an underground passage. Going into the passage, after consecutive security authorizations, be it retina, fingerprint and DNA scans, you finally arrive at the end of the corridor. A main room with a gigantic screen on the wall was there, along with a round table with named chairs, including one with your name, with computers in front of each one. There were doors at the sides of the room, but they were locked at the moment. With nothing else to do, you waited patiently for something to happen.
With that in mind, the room was eventually filled with people, some of which you knew, some of which you didn't. Time passed with some people starting conversatiosa with each other, others doing something on their own. Until the screen on the wall was turned on...
------
Welcome to Perfect Crimes .Inc, a somewhat different RP in which everyone will play the bad guys, or, more specifically, the world's most infamous, notorious criminals! Assasins, escape artists, robbers, con-artists, hackers...every kind of outlaw is available for you!
Compared to other RP's, I would prefer this one to be a little bit more organised. That's why, each arc will be divided in two parts. The first part is the planning part. You will be gathering clues for the mission given to you (the amount of clues you find and their sufficiency will be for you to judge) and after that you will be making your plan about how to approach your mission.
The second part is the execution of your plan. You will be putting your plan in motion. Of course, there are may factors which might make your plan go out of place, which IMO, makes the RP interesting. Lack of information, a mistake, or something else might force you to improvise and think on the spot, or it will cost you! So think carefully!
Your HQ is your impenetrable and undetectable safehouse! It is also your base of operations, so make sure that you will never lead any outsider to its location! It is equipped with all the nescessary equipment to keep you safe, including surveillance cameras, different kinds of security scans, along with reinforced walls to avoid forceful entry.
Main/Conference Room:
This room will be the one where you will be making your plans about your following missions. The room contains a large round table with named seats and computers. For the sake of continuity, it is a given that your thoughts on the missions will be shown to your colleagues through a shared network. There is also the gigantic screen on the wall, from which X communicates with you.
Armory:
Not much to say here, right? The armory provides you with weapons and armor, from bulletproof vests, to missile launchers. Of course, a single person cannot take the entire armory. As a general rule of the thumb, more weapons reduce mobility.
Lodgings:
The HQ is your new home. You are free to decorate and customize your rooms as you like. Each person has his own room, which contains a double bed, a bathroom and any other nescessary furniture for your use. It also contains with household equipment.
Laboratory:
IMO, this is the most exciting of all the rooms in the Headquarters, since good use of this room could increase the chance of your mission succeeding by a great percentage! The name I gave it is not accurate since you can do a variety of things here. There are uniforms and disguises of every kind here, hacking equipment, along with anything you need to create fake ID's, access cards and the like! As long as you think of something, I am giving you the OK about it, as long as it is logical!
Entertainment/Luxury Room:
Large part of this place was designed to provide you with entertainment. The room includes: sauna & spa, gym and massage, a billiards room, a bar and a restaurant, all ran by men in black, similar to the one who gave you your invitation. A doctor's office along with a surgery room is also located there.
Garage:
The Garage contains a variety of cars, including casual cars, modern cars, supercars and luxury cars. You name the ride and it's most probably there! Remember that some of these cars could also be useful in an escape so don't go crashing them all!
Hangar:
Taking an elevator, you can go to the bottom of the facility to reach the hangar, where your private jet awaits. This will be useful in cases you have to move out of New York, or even America(!) to pull off a crime. To avoid someone thinking of taking the jet on his own, the plane can be accessed by everyone's fingerprints.
1.I am not a dictator, nor a strict GM. I like things to be lax, so that everyone can enjoy the RP. That's why I am asking you to not get out of line and behave rationally.
2.No godmodding and metagaming (obviously)
3.Being a criminal RP, it would be stupid to not allow 18+ material, but don't be perverts, guys!
4.If anyone wishes to leave the RP at some point, for whatever the reason, I would be happy if he informed me, even three or four days after he stops posting.
5.I don't have a problem with having multiple characters, but I believe that one character per person is better, so that each one gets a different role in the story, instead of one person grabbing two or three roles.
6.I am being clear on the fact that I am not making this RP for me, so, in order to keep the thrill of the story, I am stating that if your characters end up in a situation where they could die, I am not pulling a miracle out of nowhere. I believe that this will keep you on your toes and make things more exciting, even if it results in my story ending.
7.Have as much fun as you can!

Notes:
1.Co-GM's: stickman
2.I'm cool with any ideas or complaints. Just PM me for whatever you need!
3.Because of the nescessity of reading every post and taking notes in order to see what your plans are, I will not also play actively with a character, other than X. This will also prevent me from spoiling the solution on how to complete the crimes.
4.New characters are accepted after the end of each arc.
I prefer characters remaining in their respective tab!
^ what he said
Also this looks to be very fun. Question -- how extreme can our character be? Like is vigilante-esque alright?
I find it hard to imagine a vigilante mixing with the world's worst bunch, but, as long as you find a good way to cover this up, I am ok! Also, added physical and mental condition on the CS's ability section!
Con-artists, escape artists and cleaners are my personal favorites, but you can also create a character with talents that could aid in criminal activity, like a mechanic or driver!
So things like a driver, a researcher, someone with contacts or a mechanic... Will these people be in the field as well? I mean things like a driver, sure, but a researcher or an information broker could they go in the field as well?
I was thinking about making an information broker with a CIA backgrounds, is that alright with you?
You do make a good point. Usually a crime rp has like a thousand Agent 47s and only one Lisbeth Salander XD. I might as well fill that void, so reserve hacker for me.
I like that analogy. My first idea was ex-CIA operative turned either assassin, information broker or arms dealer. But I'm probably going for the information broker, as there already is an armory.
Could I reserve information broker? A man with a lot of contacts who can get his hands on important intel.

Are you watching the Blacklist btw? The concept reminds me of Red Reddington!
As for your question stickman, all those options are available, as long as your character is more corrupt than Sauron!
EDIT: 1. Added the Convictions section in the CS.
2. Some or all of you can discuss here if your characters have met or worked together before the story. If you do, don't forget to update your relationships section!

Yeah, I kinda get most of my ideas from books and TV-shows. Can't wait for the new episode!
But yes, I'm going to base my char loosely on Red. I don't know if he's is going to be more corrupt than Sauron, but he is rather selfish. We'll see ;)

It's by far my favorite series after Sherlock! Can't wait for the episode too!
Is it alright if I post a premature CS in the Character section? It still needs work (Mainly Bio and Relationships), but this way people can start getting into the relationship part.
I can hold off on posting - no problem - if you prefer.

It's ok! Go on!
I'll have my CS up this evening. Still undecided on what role to fill but I'll know by then.
I am very interested to see everyone's choice for a role!
With chameleon you mean something like an infiltrator or an intrigant/agent?
Someone who is good at blending in with a crowd and good at casing a place. Like they can go in and mingle. Say they are after a bank, a chameleon can go in and interact with the tellers while also taking note of things like camera placement and such.
