Warhammer 40k RP

I have several idea's for a Warhammer 40k RP. But, first, I was wondering if anyone was looking for an RP?

I am interested in anything from Inquisitorial Retinue, to Deathwatch, to Chapter based, or maybe even doing something homebrew. Hell, a while ago, I tried to start a Political RP based around the Lords of Terra and Xenos dignitaries (But people seemed less than interested)

If you like the grimdark of the 41st millenium (Or the parody, humerous and overthetop-ness of Rogue Trader) Then I would like to know, because we could have some fun.

I think that if we see people that are interested, then everyone works together to come up with a setting, then that could work out really well for everyone.

What kind of RP were you thinking of doing? Looking at your picture, I'm guessing something to do with the Eldar. I am not as familiar with them as I'd like to be, but I've never done an Eldar RP before. So, it could be interesting.

I am not really into eldar that much, I just love the look of Harlequins. I think that RP similar to Dark heresy would be best. Just less rules and horrible deaths and maybe add a little bit more inquisitorial radicalism, so that people could do more reasonable heretical stuff.

I'm afraid that I've never actually played Dark Heresy... Although I'd really like to.

Well, it´s about group of individuals (adepts of mechanicum/arbites/munistorum/administratum, assasins..) who were hired by inquisitor to investigate potential heresies. I think it´s an interesting concept for RP.

I'm interested. I like the idea of a Dark Heresy-esque type RP, because heresy is fun I enjoy purging the enemies of man. So long as we aren't normal guardsmen, I'm okay with anything though.

I would love to participate in a Dark Heresy RP, but I'm not sure if I would be able to commit the time.

Well, if we are going to do a Dark Heresy RP, then someone will need to help me GM, as I'm not too familiar with how Dark Heresy sessions work. Or, if someone else wants to GM, i'm fine with that too.

We don´t really have to use rules, I just like that premise of characters from various backgrounds investigating and rooting out heresy.

But first, what kind of place do you want us to be sent. Xenos worlds? Imperium Hive-cities?

Why not both? Hive build on ruins of ancient ruins could be interesting.

I just had an idea for a setting. Instead of them being sent by an Inquisitor, instead, they all simply wake up on the planet, with no knowledge of how they arrived there. The investigation part would come from trying to learn where they are, and what brought them there in the first place? It would also allow a larger variety of beings that could be accepted into this RP. It would also allow for a mystery of what the true enemy could be. Chaos creatures attempting to issolate them? A sick Xenos Experiment? Eldar Trickery? Whatever it is, it will make itself known, given time.
