Lori reached out and hugged her. "I'm sorry."

Jackelyn realized she was crying and picked herself up. "No don't worry about it." She hugs Lori back.

"Jackelyn, you can cry if you want to."

Jackelyn was happy that Lori was understanding. "I would rather cry alone then have someone to help me."

Lori looks at her, a bit surprised. "Uh...why?"

I...I can see?
Through the eyes of his new host, Ritter was finally able to clearly perceive the world. The air was cool as it washed over his senses and the color were brilliant as the flowed into his mind. It wasn't his mind however. he could only feel and see what was felt and seen by Blithe. Her mind was cluttered with memories and thoughts, filled with emotions of all kinds. Among them, pain and sorrow. It was here that Ritter planted a single idea. To Blithe, it was too small to notice. To the entity within her, it was the madness from which his powers would now bloom.

What are you....
A question arose from the thoughts of the host in which Ritter now existed. "What am I..." He repeated. His words silently whispered in Blithe's mind, barely distinguishable from her own thoughts. "I am the growing solution to the lies of reality. But a single wave in the tides of peace and war. I am your sword and you are my freedom. Together we are the end and the beginning of the new existence." What was nonsense to most was like a bible to Ritter. His ideas and goals all summed up as madness.

"Its a matter of personal preference." Jackelyn said smiling slightly.

Alison walks onto the campus, noticing Kido sleeping under a tree. This makes her laugh a little bit.

Kido wakes up, a bit surprised to see someone there, and the sketchbook falls from the student's lap. Rubbing their eyes, Kido greets the newcomer, still a bit sleepy. "Oh, hi."

Alison laughs softly. "Hello."

Noctis smirks. "Don't flatter yourself, boy." She shatters the chains with ease. "This type of magic is nothing new to me. I've been fighting and defeating it for years."

Raphael smirks.

"You've activated my trap card," he joked. Upon shattering, the chains released a burst of destructive energy, which up close would cause a heck of a lot of damage and pain. The remnants of the chains writhed as they took on the forms of metallic serpents. They rose up like cobras, quickly lunging at Noctis. If they managed to carry out their attack successfully, they would instead pass through Noctis's body, leaving behind an excruciating pain as their spiritual bodies disseminated within her to spread more of Raphael's debilitating and harmful "poison".

"This reaper is actually stronger than I thought," Raphael thought to himself.

"Which makes this battle all the more exhilarating," responded the demon to his thoughts.

Noctis shook her head. She had seen a trick similar to this. But all it took was one wave of energy from her sword to slice them all clean in half. Her wings sprout from her back, and she flies above them, circling.

Alison looks at the sketch pad that fell out of Kido's lap. "That's pretty good. Did you draw it?"

[Krein]

The demon growled along with Raphael. This Reaper was getting to be a nuisance, and Raphael was going to have none of it. Thankfully though, she had put herself in a rather dangerous position. He pointed to the sky, and immediately the demon flies from his body, grinning.

"Stir the winds, bring the lightning!"

In ethereal form, the demon began to circle the air above and around Noctis, inspiring the winds to pick up and skies to darken. The wind became a battering force, and soon the demon stopped itself to allow the winds to continue their course. It raised its arms and released a dark beam into the sky. For a few seconds, it flashed red, and soon hellish bolts of lightning came crashing down upon Raphael's enemy from all direction.

"Tornado like winds and lightning.... good luck with that."

Everything goes black, and Noctis is gone. In her place, Raphael would just hear her say "This isn't over, Demon."

[Krein]

The demon returns to Raphael's being, looking around along with him for the Reaper. She was gone, cleverly escaping the heavy winds and hellish lightning Raphael had caused through his avatar.

"Shame, I was hoping to taste Reaper flesh again..."

Such an outcome didn't exactly bode well for Raphael. If she had retreated, it meant he was too much for her to handle alone. The next time they met, she would probably have backup. At the very least, she would have undergone more training and maybe even rituals of magic to obtain more power and skill. He'd have to be ready for the next time they'd meet...

Jackelyn walks away from Lori silently she wanted to talk but she also wanted to explore. "Lori I'll see you later." Then she goes and walks around.

Blithe finally gets back to Raphael, and notices that Noctis is gone. "What happened?"

Alison looks at the sketch pad that fell out of Kido's lap. "That's pretty good. Did you draw it?"

"Yeah." Kido smiles and picks it up. "I do stuff like this a lot. It just feels right somehow. My name's Kido, by the way."

Alison smiles. "Alison. Nice to meet you."
