Era: Legacy era - after the Yuuzhan vong war, after the reign of the New Galactic Empire, during the rule of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate. 30 years after the death of Darth Krayt.
[Note: I have been researching star wars history, mostly New Jedi order, Yuuzhan Vong war and Legacy stuff. If any of you know a lot of lore and history feel free to help.]

Story Idea: Galactic Federation Triumvirate wants to create a secret outpost on a remote planet (or moon) in the far reaches of the outer rim. A place that can work as the eyes of the federation in this remote part of the galaxy. The outpost would consist of a few Jedi, a padawan and a small band of troopers. I would also need two imperial Knights to lead the troopers and a Sith with an apprentice for some good PVP action. The Sith and apprentice will be located elsewhere in the outer rim obviously, acting under the dark lord of the sith (Played by me). I will play the role of all NPCs like random people you encounter and the Jedi masters, Imperial leaders and the Sith lords that rank above you guys.

Thirty years after the death of Darth Krayt and formation of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate the galaxy is in a time of temperate hostilities. The unity and peace of the galaxy has given birth to a new bustling economy throughout the territories.
The outer rim that has yet to be fully explored itself is being pushed back as newer worlds are being discovered further and further out. An outpost is needed in the newly discovered widely unknown areas.
That’s 13 open seats by my count. If we can’t fill all seats I’ll have to disband the troops.
So if this looks like fun to you let me know below and if I get enough responses I’ll post the story.

Hmm... Well I can’t really see how a character like that would fit into the outpost and the rest of the open seats. I have looked into this “potentium” type of character and it seems that the Jedi have all but banned this belief from the council. Since it is so far into the future now within this RP I might could let you play as a Jedi who has recently started to study the “potentium” beliefs. As a result has had second thoughts about the jedi ways. Also I would have to suggest that you take one of the Imperial Knight seats, the Imperial Knights are like the Jedi of the Empire. They use only silver colored light sabers and believe in the use of dark and light side powers as long as one is not taken by the dark and stays on the light side.
As for a straight up potentium character that has no job or use at the outpost is a little hard to imagine. Who is this character and why would this character be at the outpost?

The Outpost is made up of the following
Jedi: To report back to the Jedi council
Imperial Knights: To report back to the Empire
Troops: To act as guards and additional support
Main objective of the Outer rim outpost
To keep an eye on the area and make sure no threats to the GFT (Galactic Federation Triumvirate) arise. To keep the peace in the area and settle any local disputes without violence. To keep the best interest of the GFT.
The Outpost will be equip with two R5 droids, three R4 and one R7 as well as one protocol droid and two medical droids, one for active duty and one for back up. There will be a small one man speeder ship for every Jedi / Imperial knight and a large transport for the troops. There will be a large YTA-1300 Freighter as well, capable of holding well over 100 people.

I'd like to take one of the Imperial Knight spots, since it seems to offer up much more leniency than a Jedi Knight spot would, and in all honesty I like to think that the Sith are cooler than the Jedi.

Also, since there will be characters using lightsabers, are we restricted to the standard sabers, or are we allowed to use other kinds, like Darth Maul's double blade, or the tonfa sabers?

Ok cool can't wait to see, like I said before ill post a character sheet for you guys.

As for the light sabers, the Imperial Knights all use the same exact light saber hilt, carry one single saber and they all use silver blades. They also all wear the same red and black imperial armor. But I will allow the Imperial knights to carry custom light sabers when not around superior officers. Often times Imperial knights will carry a custom light saber when under cover.
Yes Jedi may use the double bladed light saber or duel sabers of any color. Tonfa saber is a little strange but I will allow Jedi to carry them in place of a standard light saber if they like and Imperial knights to carry them only as there "Under cover weapon"

I have decided to add some player characters to the story. There will now be open seats for a pirate / spice smuggler crew that will be doing work in the outer rim. some how or another this crew will encounter and interact with the other characters. will it be a positive or negative experience? There will be a Captain and a number of crew members, the captain will assign positions to each of the crew members. The pirate / smuggler captain will be given a large ship to call his/her own. But remember mutiny is always an option for your crew.

Sith: Stationed somewhere in the far reaches of the outer rim a sith and apprentice do the bidding of their master the dark lord of the sith.
The Sith players will be one of the main antagonist of the outer rim outpost and its defenders. One way or another there will be conflict between the two. It could be sooner or later in the story I guess we will find out.
Pirate / smugglers: Working in the outer rim the pirate crew some how come in contact with the characters, interacting with them for the better or worse?
The pirates will be secondary antagonists who could help or hinder any of the characters Jedi, Sith or in between. There goal will be strictly up to the captain and crew.

Sorry about all of the slot changes, but would it be okay to be the sith apprentice instead? I have an Idea for a Twi'Lek character, and as far as imperial knights go, most to all of them seem to be human, and I don't want my character being this extra special snowflake kind of deal.
