Scully "Babyface" Vagabond
While Babyface had admittedly been excited about the idea of the leaf pile- he could've just jumped into it on his way down- he felt slightly guilty at the realization that he may've bruised Scully's pride. It was understandable, there were a lot of kids he knew that bruised their ego easily, but Babyface couldn't help but adore the wild child even more when he didn't... get angry or burst. Then again, maybe he didn't bruise Scully's pride and he was just overthinking. Shaking himself out of his thoughts, the light haired adolescent looked over as the other child started his clamber up- if anything, his face screamed determination. It was captivating, almost, the focus in other Scully's face- the thought that he may not have looked as cool and probably looked really dumb while climbing made Babyface's baby face burn.
The wild child eventually made his way near, and Babyface reached out, the two boys' arms connecting. He wasn't very strong- but the dark haired boy must have pushed himself off the small branch or something because Babyface easily swung him over to share the branch and the small branch snapped under Scully.
Snapping branches weren't exactly rare, but they were few and in between, and having them happen always sent Babyface's heart racing- he didn't even do much and he was already sweating. He tried to calm down with a deep breath, his one hand still holding onto Scully's, the other on his shirt, and after a few steady breaths, he found his heart finally slowing down. Licking his dry lips, Babyface managed a wide smile that made his bruise ache painfully- not that it mattered. That was really cool!
"That was really cool!" he repeated, nodding his head towards Scully. Finally letting go of the boy, Babyface pointed to a tree beside them, slightly above their eye level. His voice dropping slightly, he whispered, "Look. There's the nest. Probably no more eggs. Its fall and all."
