Shadow read through the book quickly spell book and found something that looked like it said channeling spell next to it. he read it out loud "Phasmatos Ex Solves omnio ligata soluto. is that your channeling spell?" he asked her as he walked with her.

Ansel nodded and her hands trembling slightly as she had never faced a vampire before but nonetheless drew her shortswords to get ready "I'm scared Shadow, i've never faced a vampire before " She said while attempting to hold back her tears but failing so badly at it, her mind was telling her to run from the house. But she knew had to atleast help Shadow, She quickly tried to change the atmosphere "So did you see Aery when we were sparring ?" She asked Shadow to change the mood and to distract them for what they were about to battle.

Shadow smiled and then said "yes i saw her and i know what your trying to do but let me tell you that its not worth trying to change what we are thinking about. if we do that they we will lose focus on our task and that can get us killed. you have to focus on what it is that you want to do and not let anything cloud you thoughts of success." shadow then drew his lance and gave it the fire enchantment that he had used on his sword before. " lets just get in there and do this."

Ansel nodded fearfully and swung open the door before touching the sides of the door for a boundary spell that would allow them to enter but not let the vampires leave " Kembe Po transi. Come on then" She whispered to Shadow before heading down to basement.

Shadow blocked all distractions from his mind so that if anything got in his way he would be able to deal with it to the best of his ability he knew that death would come some day but for now he would fight just to keep going on in his life. He followed Ansel quickly.

Ansel heard chattering and followed it to find seven vampires sitting down eating normal human and they noticed them walk in but still kept on eating " Shadow take the evil looking one, i'll take the pretty female and we handle the rest ourselves .. " she whispered to Shadow,.

Shadow nodded and the walked to the center of the area and took a stance that would give him the best movement abilities. he drew one of his daggers and threw it into the target vampire's head but he missed as the vampire stood up to charge at him. he countered the vampire by swinging his lance and taking out the vampire's feet and then putting the tip through its head.

She chanted that to target the female vampire killing her but mistakenly weakly harming the other vampires. like nose bleeds, being thrown around the room.

Shadow didn't even take the time to let the first vampire he killed bleed from its wound before he took his lance and charged a few of the others. he muttered "Phasmatos Ex Solves omnio ligata soluto" as he ran forward so that the spell would take effect as he fought the next few vampires.

"Now we channel them." Ansel said and then started chanting the channeling spell, it would take time to this spell due the immense power it takes of the earth and other world magic and they were battling vampire plus aiming to channel them then go off to find or kill Celaena once and for all. @kalinsovrin

Shadow quickly killed one of the three vampires that he had charged but he had to step back from the other two as they started to grow more angry and their attacks grew faster and harder. he spun the lance to block one of their swords and then ducked under the other one.
