Introduction
Welcome to Paradiso Island, an island in the middle of the sea and your new home! On this island, life is very simple and relaxing, much like its name implies. Inhabitants are free to do whatever they'd like on the island that is home to different sporting events, fishing areas and plenty of roommates to ensure that they are never bored. Each islander begins with eight objects of their choice, an apartment of their very own and their choice of clothing.
As relaxing as it may seem, it comes with a few catches, I mean, why wouldn't it? For one, this island is not in the middle of any ordinary ocean, but instead, it is wedged in between the oceans of time and space. This means that islanders are from different universes, eras and timelines! As exciting as this may seem, it comes with a heavy cost -- islanders are not permitted to leave the island after arriving.
Speaking of arriving, it's quite a quizzical experience. Islanders may quickly come to terms with a few facts: they do not remember much about their past life aside from their name, nickname, favorite color, birthday and age. Much of their past life is covered in a haze -- perhaps there is more to this island than one might expect. .
Don't fancy yourself much of a rebel explorer? Then you may quickly find yourself in love with the many different events that happen on the island -- maybe you'll even find a lover yourself! Get married, have a couple of kids . . how strange could that be?
Well, to be fair, anything can happen on Paradiso Island! Just see for yourself. . .

Life on the Island
While on the island, your character's life is entirely customizable for their needs. Their choices are their own, whether it's who to have as a friend, what hobby to pursue or what to eat that night for dinner. While on the island, life is simple and basic: there are no monsters and nobody ever dies, just simply ages.
Time runs differently on Paradiso Island: infants can age to a full-grown children in only a matter of days. Children are considered independent on the island and while they may live near family, they do not live with them. Children can become adults by taking a potion and vice versa.
While on the island, islanders have their own schedule and lifestyle. One may just choose to do part-time jobs in the island's many stores or play on a gaming console or practice for an upcoming tournament.
The Island has a variety of stores that update daily: hats, food, clothing and interior. There is also a cafe, amusement park, observation tower, beach and fountain in Town Square all available for daily events and socializing. Events include a magic show, rap battle and Quirky Questions (hell yeah, we are so doing this). Islanders can also learn a variety of different songs to perform solo or with a group in the concert hall.
There is endless to do on the island! The question is: how will a group of wacky travelers from other worlds handle it?

Rules & Guidelines
- All regular site rules apply, this Roleplay is no exception.
- Relationships are encouraged -- rivalries, friendships, romances. If romance goes past flirting, hugging and kissing, take it to PMs or "fade to black".
- I'm capping character limit at four or five for right now. Might move up to six or get pushed down to three. We'll see.
- Absolutely no OOC drama is tolerated. I'll warn once and then I'll kick. First one to start is traditionally the first one out.
- Meta-gaming, power-playing and godmodding are not permitted and will be called out.
- Quality over quantity is the rule we play by. Meaning, I don't expect a lot, but I expect it to be good.
- We're very democratic! But my word as well as any Co-GMs are both law.
- Third person, past tense, A+ grammar and spelling, a few sentences at least.
- Speed-posting is frowned upon.
- Chaos is allowed! But too much of it causes the story to fall off track, so please acknowledge that.
- Roleplaying is a hobby, not a job. Have fun and if it is stressing you out, take a break or don't be ashamed to drop out.
