Hours Later

After Kharrn's good or at least best at that moment idea, Jo'ari's fracture poked through the skin when they tried to move her. Soon after she contracted a fever from the open wound being sucked on by blight flies. Since numbers would only draw attention to the tower Ayron went alone to the Tower. He traversed the jungle making his way back from the Morrowindian wilderness. It took an hour or two to make it to the tower, so by the time he arrived the sky was a rainbow of colors from red to a dark purple. There, still jutting into the sky, was the Tower, however it was very unstable. This'll be an adventure huh? Thought Aryon. He had to make it down to his stash in the basement. Ayron walked up to the front entrance and tried to enter. Luck for him it did; however the bad part was that in only opened an inch before it was slammed shut by rubble. Ayron looked around hoping to find another entrance and there it was, a hole in the exterior just in reach of jumping.

He jumped and his manacle clad hands pulled him up slowly as he grunted and pulled himself in. Ayron was net exception the floor he was on to give out, however it did and he did find himself on on the slaves quarter's floor. Lucky me. he thought as his eyes locked on the stash hole. As soon as the imperial got up something clinked down and landed behind him, it was a sword. It seemed like it had a glow around its blade. What a spectacular blade. The blade was old and covered in runes while the handle was covered in simple leather. The hilt seemed special for being just a simple piece of quartz. As he leaned in to pick it up another thing came falling down, it was the sheathe. For being just leather that hurts more than all oblivion. he thought as he rubbed his head and sheathed the sword. Ayron went over to his stash and popped it open and rummaged around before he found a small piece of wire. Ayron quickly unlocked his cuffs and looked at his wrists. They were whiter than day and the edges of the cuffs led to sores. From the stash he grabbed some extra things, including an old curing potion, the bottle of sujamma and a small gold ring from days past. To carry these extra things Ayron was forced to tie his shirt into a pack of sorts.

He looked around, Now to find a way out. Ayron ducked into the hallway and at the end was a few sets of stairs. With no other alternative he traversed up them all the way up to ground floor. Across from him was his initial hole of entrance. All that was between him and heading back to camp was this gap. He walked back to the stairs and ran jumping reaching for the ledge. He grabbed it, but sadly the sujamma and crashed blow. He uttered all of the curses and he slinked out and made his way back to camp, set to arrive in an hour.

Kharmam looked at the khajiit with furrowed brows and a wrinkled nose. Chances were the cat wouldn't make it. The question was whether to grant her mercy and kill her now, and hope for unlikely salvation and let her rot. The redguard found herself staring at the rock Kharrn had discarded earlier. It would do if it came to that. Her brooding was interrupted by Ayron who appeared suddenly.

Good, you're back, Kharmam said, Were you able to salvage anything useful?

Kharrn glanced up from the small fire he had coaxed to life and dropped another twig on the flames. Jo'ari was in a bad way. He had seen similar wounds as a mercenary, even inflicted some with his hammer, and with the fever setting in it didn't look good for the cat. He had noted Kharmam's stare and how it had stayed locked on the rock. It was a grim reality that things might come to a mercy killing, but no one could say for certain.

The Orc rose as Ayron returned and he frowned at the white stripes of skin on the Imperial's wrist along with his shirt tied into a pack, "Someone was successful at least."

"I have this lock pick from a special, as well as, a ring and this old cure potion, but I don't know how old it is." Ayron almost walked away, however his hand brushed the hilt of the sword. "There's one more thing, this sword, it fell from the top of the tower and you used to be a arms master or something like that right Kharmam? So I think this should go to the best. It has runes on it, but I'm still not too sure what it does." Ayron handed the sword to her and started working on her cuffs. He moved on in record time to Kharrn and then to Jo'ari, who wasn't doing well. They all admired their much lighter skin, except for Jo'ari who's fever is getting worse. Ayron pulled the bottle out of his shirt-pack and force fed the potion.

"I guess we wait now, nothing to do, but pray."
