We could use some of you more experienced at realistic fighting to check our fight every now and then to see if we don't do anything crazy, if you don't mind. Of course if one of us doing the fight is experienced then that would settle that as well, but it wouldn't hurt to get more people's opinions.

My advice to you if you don't have any real world fighting experience is keep it simple. If you're using hand to hand skills don't make it elaborate. Throw punches that are short and crisp, the body is a bigger target than the head. Kicks should never be above waist height. I know in the movies they kick for the head, but in a real fight you want everything low and controllable.

If you're in melee, weapons provide a plethora of attack and counter-attack opportunities that also are best served directly and simply. Never be afraid to employ an elbow, kick even when armed with a melee weapon. You would be surprised how much opens up to you when you do so.

@BartimaeusI need to pay better attention. Just got sucked into reading. The character is Scion and Dennis. Some will know them, but they change a lot, and I have finally just made it part of their character to change. The experiment is that none of there powers, abilities, or even equipment is set in stone. The experiment I wish to run for the first fight is to have my opponent choose my load out. Whatever Powers, Abilities, or Equipment in any quantity you think would make for a fair fight. You could give him nothing and leave him with the base abilities and make it an uphill battle or give him everything if you want to deal with absolute insanity.
