Bio:Lon is a jaded man with a past of glory. He has a dark and cynical humour and is quick to let others fall if he can get out with only some scratches. He was born April 15, 1878 to a Civil War veteran and a Nurse of The American Red Cross. At age 22 he had gained notoriety playing music in nightclubs and bars. He had a good amount of money and fame, but he lost his mainstream amount of money when a large amount of people left for WW1. He fell into poverty and had to crawl back up to the top of the middle echelon of people of minor notoriety. He eventually was able to open a small casino in Boston, Massachusetts called Club Sterling and support himself by rigging blackjack games and using Club Sterling as a place to hide booze for local bootleggers.

Bio: Amanda Smith was born 1893 in Baltimore, MD, to a pair of lower-class parents. When her mother died of tuberculosis, she was expected to seek employment at the age of 10 - however, this was around the time pressure was put on factories that hired children, and she was turned down. The best she could do to help her father was beg on the street. During her time, though, she saw quite a few things that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. She had a knack for writing and was able to sell a few articles to local papers under the name 'A. Smith'. When she was old enough, she was hired by one of her publishers to work as a full-time journalist. She was able to begin relaxing then, reading and beginning to study writing and past news articles in an attempt to improve her own work. She's also taught herself how to operate a camera and has been trying to learn Chinese due to the number of Chinese workers in her city. She later received a better offer and moved away from her hometown.

Considering some attitudes to a female reporter, Amanda's learned how to move quietly and keep things hidden, physically and emotionally, from those she speaks to in order to avoid trouble. To her, anything interesting is worth following up on for a news story, even if she can't always explain how it happened.

Currently she works for the Boston Globe.

Bio: Seumas came to America as a child, and has since been swept up in the American culture. He found his living running a small vehicle repair shop and scrapyard on the outskirts of town. Seumas is a known alcoholic, womanizer and ruffian, frequenting pubs and often being removed for violent behaviour. His interests lie in Gaelic folklore, and he spends much of his free time reading books on Scottish myth, and enjoys swinging around a Claymore in the woods behind his shop. Seumas was noticed due to his knowledge of the paranormal within Scottish history, and boasted that he would easily discover whether or not this house in Boston was truly haunted.

Bio: Sofie Meckel is a Blond haired woman about the age of 24, Her father was a former WWI Veteran (don't ask which side) named Wolfgang Meckel and her mother was a cop named Alexandra Meckel,

Sofie had a nice life, Her mother was kind but she was always gone and absent, her father was quite different though.

Her father was always slightly insane, he had a large gun cabinet that he kept in the basement of her house, and he always spoke to himself about "Them" and generally acted weird at times, At the age of 12 her father started teaching her how to defend herself,

how to fire a gun, how to fight off a mugger and how to fight

at the age of 18 however her father snapped and ran into the basement, grabbing the largest Machinegun he could find and running to Sofie's neighbors house and killing the owner and his children, Her father then told her

"They found me, but they're only after me, Don't follow me, remember what I taught you, and take this" and handed her the key to the gun cabinet in the basement and ran off.

Sofie never heard from her father again, and she dedicated her life to finding out what happened to her father, and what "they" are.

She strives to become a Detective in life, But however her fathers disappearance took its toll on her giving her Depression and causing her to fail in school

she was treated however, and lost her depression. but she already dropped out, and was unemployed, but however her skills with a gun and some knowledge of the law she was able to become a cop

and then she heard about the haunted house she immediately took a break from work, and sighed up. hoping to find out what really happened to her father and what "they" are

Bio: Andrew was born in the country city of Warrnambool in the state of Victoria, Australia just before the turn of the century. The youngest of four children in the family (With three elder sisters) Andrew's early childhood years on the family farm were relatively peaceful as it was split between having fun with his sisters and friends, helping around the farm and going to school. Some of his happiest memories of life at the farm was learning how to drive the family tractor with his dad.

When the great war broke out and the call to arms was sounded, Andrew was one of those who answered the call with a bunch of his mates. While he was still somewhat young to join the army, he was rather tall for his age and he knew how to drive; This skill made Andrew an army driver instead of a front line solder. While not the most glorious of roles in the war, he was doing his part and he made damn sure that whatever he was driving got to where it needed to go safely and on time. Despite just being a driver, he still underwent basic training in the event that he was ever sent to the war proper; Something that never happened to him.

While a part of him was rather disappointed that he never got to take part in the war itself, the fact that a lot of his mates never came back put something of a damper on his disappoint.

After the war, Andrew left the army and used some of the pay he had saved up to travel to the US as he felt the need to travel the world a bit. Setting down roots in Boston, Andrew made a living by doing what he had done during the war; Drive a truck and transport things for people. While he mostly works for legit companies, lately he has started moving a couple of things for some rather friendly, well paying gentlemen that would rather Andrew not look all that closely at what they want him to move; In turn, the only question Andrew asks is if it is fragile.

When a friend of a friend asked him to do a favor and check out a house for a bit of quick cash, Andrew shrugged and took the job. To his understanding, his job was to kick out any squatters before the landlord moved in.
