Hider Issues

I could be completely blind, and as a consequence, messed this up. But I've tried putting a quote in a hider, as it was in my signature on the old site, yet it wont work? You can see the results below in my signature. The way code looks as such, with all of the *'s removed.

Seems like it. You can't put quotes in hiders.

The BBCode is incredibly limited right now. I just cobbled together something that works well enough (as long as you don't nest it) so that I could focus on other things.

I'll deliberately try to improve it soon.
