Slooga. There's a gunfight breaking out and imperials coming, and Byron wants you to get him to the shuttle. Some of the grunts are trying to clear the path while others are covering your back. He's a hutt, so he's slow as balls, pissed off and bloodthirsty, and probably sexist just going off Jabba, so you should have a great time!

Yes, we're recruiting characters (since we're losing some players it looks like and will be adding a new round of replacements...heh)

As to the Jedi, the short answer is: definitely not a knight. Too high profile for a platoon of infantry. Besides, a Jedi Knight would have been addressed as "General" in the Clone Wars. Rahm Kota had a force big enough to mount operations that had strategic value to anti-Imperial factions. Jedi work on a higher order than some squad of infantry, basically. That's been canonized time and time again.

Most of the "Jedi" that survived Order 66 were like Mercy Corps types that didn't get chosen as padawans or a youngling that got almost no training, but a Jedi Knight would totally overshadow the RP in the sense that it'd become Jedi Knight WavySabre and the attached squad of Poor Bloody Infantry.

So we're trying to avoid that dynamic, whereas force sensitives are allowed but are probably either unaware of their potential or if they are aware of such, they might well be trying to hide it but certainly don't know much about it. If you've ever read "Starship Troopers" by Heinlein, you'll get a feel for the level we're operating on.

I've read, so an apprentice then. Had a former master that was killed. Knows about it, can't use it really well, but definitely tries to hide it.

Keeps her saber hidden on her person, of course. Very well hidden, and only drawn on dire emergencies.

Would a Twi'lek be fine?

I'd honestly prefer the sabre to be buried somewhere and inoperable, and the character to have willfully repressed knowledge of the forcce, particularly since the advanced stuff wasn't even taught if they were taken as a padawan. Perhaps her Master was killed in Order 66 and she was lucky somehow, but you might want to explain such luck as something well beyond Force abilities since the Fett Clones were bred to kill the Jedi -- and were very, very, very good at it. If you want to give her neurotic issues about clones, that'll work too.

Sounds quite good to me.

I like this idea. :D

I'll begin work on a post shortly. Just let me dump this Slowbro and Ditto into the Breeding Pit, and I'll get to work. ^_^

She was barely a youngling when the insidious Order 66 was issued.

Younglings don't have lightsabers, lightsabers is the last thing do they prior to becoming padawans. Could be interesting if the saber is a training saber :P

The LoTR books tho

They're heavy, not physically. Well they are physically if you got the older copies... but bloody hell.

You start reading a paragraph then have to read it again as you're like "Wait, what the fucks going on?"

...(I have the older copies. I got them from my Grandpa. <.<; )

I didn't have that much trouble. ._. I loved how they were written, and I try to emulate that style as much as I can. Well, at least attempt.

Getting in depth to detail, immersive and the like.

My problem is I read really fast, and in a book like LoTR you can't really read too fast or you gloss over a bit then you're like "Wait, who the fuck is this guy again?"

Looks fine.

As a general word, they don't have stormtroopers on site yet...but the backup for the bounty hunters do happen to be COMPFORCE assault troops, who are more enthusiastic than trained. Their 'training' is brutal live fire stuff that favors the lucky rather than the skilled, so they're way more balls than brains.

They do, however, take exception to the way Slooga's offloading their equipment on the black market... ;)

Also later you should have regular Imp infantry.

People always forget about the regular grunts...
