Kalas "Time to party!"

Member Seen 3 mos ago

Okay, Okay! I'm alive! Goddamn life!

Long story short: I was away, now I'm back (Again) Apologies all around.

However, as a forewarning for the next 2 months, I am going to be stupidly busy enjoying the Summer. Parties here, Holidays there and a smattering of escapades to various other cities to explore and sample the evening culture.

Roll Call

Hundred Kira - @Tenish the Mighty - Docking Bay Control Room - 9 days
Sevyn Spades - @TTwoThumbsUp - Docking Bay Control Room - 13 days
Marga - @Bonjour xx - Docking Bay Control Room - 4 days
Farvis Kren - @TheUnknowable - Docking Bay Access Corridor - 1 day
Mez - @Kalas - Docking Bay Access Corridor - 19 days
Simon Brewer - @DJAtomika - Docking Bay Control Room - 3 days
James "JR" Rourke - @TheMadAsshatter - Retired

@Kalas Do you still want to play, or should Mez take a volley of shots from the defense turret moments after seeing Marga get gunned down?

Same here. At this point I think Mez has gone into catatonic shock after seeing Marga get injured, and both Hundred and Sevyn have realised their operating systems run on Windows Vista 9.32 and have been forced into a software update cycle. There was some information provided by Simon's scan of the control room which might be worth checking out in the meantime.

@TheUnknowable Could you send Farvis to check if Mez still has a heartbeat or not? @Bonjour xx And could Marga use her technical skills to check to see if the cyborgs have anything worth salvaging... err, I meant to see if they have anything wrong with them? :P

Oi, stay away from my shiny bits!

I've just been trying to let the slower creatures play catch-up. I'm certainly not trying to work out runtime errors and an overwhelming urge to devour everyone with the Dust. Most definitely certainly not.

So, hey, unrelated, how opposed are you all to having your skin pulled off molecule by molecule and converted into micromachines?

Posting later.

Um, out of curiosity, what would be the equivalent of a power switch on her.

Um, out of curiosity, what would be the equivalent of a power switch on her.

I tried flicking the little button between her legs a few times, but all it did was make her purr. Then my hand got covered in some sort of lubricating gel which smelt of processed sea creatures. :S

As far as timings go, if no-one's posted for two days or more, feel free to just jump in and continue the story over them. Some players are going to be a little busy in the real world for a while and it's better to keep things moving along so that there's still an adventure running when they come back rather than letting it die while waiting too long.

In-game we can just say the unmentioned characters are following along with what everyone else is doing, that or they've volunteered to let Farvis test his latest crackpot theory scientific breakthrough on them. >D

Speak for yourself, Sevyn's been bugging me for the last four hours to show her how I did it!

Hundred's lubricants smell of sunflower oil and sin... Oh, and everybody's dead because while no-one was watching Sevyn tried to hack the ship's computer to order a milkshake and a crispy bar and accidentally detonated the self-destruct instead. :P

That's not a very well programmed system if you can mix up the replicator and the self destruct. No wonder a door was such a problem. The ship probably thought they were trying to play volleyball in the holodeck.

@TheUnknowable Either someone deliberately set-up the systems in such a way as to act as a booby trap, or one of the maintenance droids went berserk and rewired the entire ship, cross connecting all the systems.

The latter option might explain why half of the corridors were painted gunmetal grey while the others were ocean gray. :D

I assumed since controls were busted there was nothing to do but get down and dirty on Hundred, since Sevyn is cursed and isn't able to open any doors (*secretsobsobcry*), so just waiting for something that's relevant to Sevyn to show up.

In unrelated news, I'm going to be gone over the weekend due to a camping trip so I won't be able to post until Monday.

There's some nice control panels there which could be inspected. Perhaps someone could convince Hundred to let them use her auxiliary power supply port to get them up and running again. That or taking a look at the sealed storage compartments with the unpowered electronic locks on them.

Not to mention the large doors back in the hallway, at the far end away from the hangar, or even the Head, which is just next door. Perhaps someone left their wallet in there for some thief to just come along and pick up?

I was away in the deepest, darkest countryside where the concept of wifi is a distant dream... But back now and will post something tomorrow :)

Edit: Marga would be happy to shoot Mez to see if he's still alive, if you like?

You might want to have a word with @Kalas about that, he was talking about getting busy partying and jetsetting for the next couple of months and I don't think Marga was invited along. :)
