@SimplyJohn Thought so, was just checking. I can't wait for this to get properly underway!
Tadah! A post from the doctor!
<Snipped quote by DJAtomika>
Hey, that's my job. Ok, so my job is actually to develop a vaccine to whatever plague kill the crew, something my "employers" are sure of, but I'm still a medical doctor. And the fact that my license was suspended has nothing to do with it.

You can never have too many doctors when heading into hostile territory. After all, who else is gonna patch up Mez after he idly drops a comment about Marga's performance in bed?
Don't worry. You'd be surprise how often I've had to clone certain parts of the male anatomy. I've got good at cloning them.

That's good, but why would anyone need an extra thumb?

Because their "thumb" was lost in a freak "what is physiological compatibility?" accident. I just happened to be the only doctor that wouldn't put the transplant on their official medical record, thereby preventing their wives from seeing it.
I was about to say! Drop a comment like that around Marga and she'll be wearing a pair of suspicious looking earrings and a new pendant.
FYI, she's never had any complaints, thank you very much.

With a reaction like that I can see why.
If everyone has pressurized suits we could still just blow open a hole, or for a cleaner insertion Sevyn could use her Ardie to cut out an insertion point. Would probably take a while though

We still have the problem of not being unable to breath in the long run though, don't we?

Well there's also the possibility of entering through something that would connect to the interior of the ship from the outside that could be fairly easy to pry into like missile bays or something similar like that, assuming the Lone Star has missile bays and that they can be reloaded from inside the ship.
<Snipped quote by TTwoThumbsUp>
You wouldn't really know those kinds of details about the ship unless someone was already intimate with the design, or could get their hands on a schematic of some kind.
<Snipped quote by SimplyJohn>
Guess it's time to crack open an airlock then and take our wonderful chances, unless someone else has a better idea.
<Snipped quote by TTwoThumbsUp>
You could always ask Felix to fly you back to the fleet, report that everything clear and ready to be salvaged and then collect your bounty and skedaddle before the next team get massacred?
<Snipped quote by SimplyJohn>
Clearly you hired the wrong team for this then.
