Move the non active fighters to an inactive list so it is easier to see who is looking for a fight.

Some are actually about to be moved off, as they either have or haven't responded to my query about their participance in the Rankings, as a whole.

Why an off season?

It would be funny if you can loan someone your points and if they win you share the profits but if they lose they keep your loan to help pay for their loss! So you could get to the top of the leaderboards by being a good loan shark!

I'd advise against the win/loss system unless it was for character rankings to see what characters are the best and try to take them on to dethrone them.

That actually sounds pretty reasonable. It is the kind of system that, after a time, makes it hard to level grind, so it promotes fair fighting. However, I don't think having to fight other people needs to be reinforced. We all agree to our own fights and can deny or accept fights based on our own judgement. It isn't like some jerk is going to suddenly start challenging all the new guys and wooping their buts for easy points. I mean I'd think that most new people won't even participate in ranked matches until they are confident that they can win. Just trust the players to have some common sense on the matter.

On a different note. Who has failed to answer your quarries about the ranked fights?

Several people. I asked everyone who hasn't been involved in a fight at all, or recently, unless they've been around, if they were still interested. 3 people answered, the rest didn't.

OK. That's a relief. Well here is to hoping Barti actually returns today.

So, I've decided I'm going to systematically face everyone in the rankings, in a ranked fight, at some point. So that I have a variety of matches on my list, instead of just the same few people I enjoy sparring.

I think thats a good idea. Having to fight everyone win or lose will make you better. Fighting the same two or three easy opponents don't challenge you. Taking on better fighters actually tests you.

Also, I was thinking of ending my RCC, actually; and just having the judge always pick my character, sheet or not. Just to challenge myself more. Hahah.

Also, what should be the official end date for matches with missing participants? It's only been a day since Barti's stated return date, but she hasn't returned. I'm not worried about it now, but I don't wanna be sitting on a match. I'm a one match sitter, and that is currently occupied by a Jedi.

Your point? The same logic applies. Fighting people who don't challenge you keep you in a rut. Weaker fighters should learn from fighting better fighters.

I suppose I shall also wait at least a week for Barti before starting a fight, but I am still going to try to get involved in the HQ now and work on relations.

So two things:

I think I will always let the judge choose characters for my ranked fights. Even if it means giving them a list of preferences. Whoever is picked wont be on the next list.

And

Tomorrow I'm going to add the current ranked list to my fight card and check off all I've fought going forward.
