How long had it been since the bus ride to the city on their way to Kyushu after getting off that plane? Days? Who knew exactly. They would've taken a train if the thing hadn't broken down but the bus was the next best thing. The Kiryuins at least were nice enough to handle that much. The road was bumpy and the entire world moved past them as the drove along the cliff side towards the town. The whole area was rocky in general but the skies at least were bright blue. Clouds filled the air and the world seemed at ease. There was a smell of sea water from the nearby ocean and at the end of the day everything seemed to just reek of happiness and life. But it was the underlining subtext that all of this was in one way or another connected to the Kiryuins that haunted the bus atmosphere. At the very least they weren't on their way to Honoji Academy for all it's prestige and worth at the end of the day...it was controlled by a monstrous despot who ran under the guise of student council president. Kyushu...it wasn't much different but at least the atmosphere had cleared up since Satsuki moved on from this place. The bus driver was an elderly man by the name of Simon Takeda and was a fairly friendly sort but he didn't say much as he didn't understand much about the kids in the back other than that he was taking them to their new home.

The bus itself was grey with blue colors on the side and inside of it was a rather small amount of seats. The bus itself was fairly roomy for what it was but most of it's room was being taken up by the cargo being brought along with the group. Ever since the group had gotten onto the island a feeling of foreboding was there in some of them. What they were about to do...some people were lucky to get out alive from such an experience. One wrong move...one wrong motion and their world came crashing down around their feet. Kenta Sanshiro was the man having them do this and though he claimed he could help them if they got caught it was still a long way from the safety of Berlin. And god help them if they run into a three star while in their duty. Sanshiro's last words before leaving were simple ones: "Don't forget to watch each other's backs."

---

Sitting in his seat rolling and unrolling some tape around his hand Aaron couldn't help but feel disgusted in wearing this uniform. It was if he was being judged for simply being new. Of course the school year hadn't started just yet so he supposed it couldn't be helped. Well it had started but in reality class wasn't in session until a announcement made by their teachers. At the very least he had time to clear his head and just well...hope for the best. This would be an unnerving experience for the young Disney but he was certain he could overcome it. "Just one more mountain to over come...just one more rock to climb over. Go hard or go home." he grumbled to himself as he sat down in his seat and looked over the people inside. He hoped his classmates were good and ready for this. "God help us if we're not." he muttered to himself quietly making sure no one heard. He wanted to say something to lighten up the mood inside but he still felt rather...unsettled himself. Odd seeing as he punched people in the face for a good amount of time back home. "So...are you guys doing ok?" he asked hesitantly.

The ride was bumpy and the bus was extremely quiet. Kageta was looking at the window, fairly bored out of his mind, he would be thinking of a plan to try to overthrow Kyushu, but really, apathy had taken him temporarily as the dullness seeped into his sleepy-

"So... are you guys doing okay?" Aaron finally broke the silence.

"Oh holy crap, man, no, we're not, or at least I'm not, that has been the most boring minutes I've ever experienced, or were those hours? I mean damn. Thanks for breaking that silence." He coughed, then smiled. That sentence came out too fast for anyone to say without difficulty.

He knew the people here and was casual friends with most of them. He bet Eika would be the one to save him from the dullness, but it seems he was wrong. He looked over to her, she was uncharacteristically silent, though he was sure that was very temporary. He looked over to Charlotte who was also silent.

He turned back to Aaron. "I guess we're all nervous, huh?" He directed his attention at everyone, his smile grew wider. "Its us, that are nervous... so I guess you'd say we're nerve-US?! EEHH?!" Oh god. That pun was so horrible he might've ended up getting everyone depressed.

"I swear to god Kageta I will punch you in the face so hard that you'll end up in Berlin if you ever decide to make a joke that bad again. I mean did you even put effort into that bro? I don't even think a ten year old could come up with something so mind bogglingly bad that it would make a crocodile roll it's eyes." Aaron said face palming. Just what they needed some lame jokes..."I'm sorry you know I'm just so bored man. Quite frankly I'm surprised were getting close to our destination. Of course the god damn train needed to break down." Disney continued as he stopped rolling his hands in the boxing tape and he gripped the chair. "Sorry sir no offense meant to you." he said to the bus driver in haste not wanting to make him angry. After all they could be forced to walk the next mile. "None taken kiddo I don't like this route either. Why make a town all the way out here is beyond me." the bus driver said kindly. "And if it means anything to you kid I thought that joke was funny." he said to Kageta.

...This bus was full of a lot of gear. She wondered what would happen if she tried to go skating next to the bus while it was going...? Could she possibly keep up? Maybe, maybe...If she took the time to tie herself to it with those chords on her legs, she could probably zoom down the street too-

OH WAIT HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE WERE TALKING.

A clearing of the throat and Eika turned her gaze over to Aaron as he asked for everyone's conditions and laughed a bit at such a silly inquiry -- and a sillier reaction from Kageta that spurred on the boxer. Hmm, seemed everyone was bored today. What could she do to try and make everyone a little less bored- ooh, she knew what! A clap of the hands, and Eika sat up on her knees from her seat to grab the attention of her fellow students.

"Guys, guys! Why don't we play a game? It'll pass the time by quicker and I promise it won't involve trying yourself to the bus and trying to outrun it, okay? You can trust me! I'm a professional at these things! Who's up for giving it a shot?"

Unwrapping one of those chords from her legs and sliding it off with a bit of a shimmy, the reinforced material was stretched out and she showed it to them with a grin on her lips as she readied herself for a little bit of wonder. Perhaps they just needed to see something a little unorthodox in order to get them feeling better? She had just he idea!

"See this chord here? What about I show you some tricks with it and you have to figure out how I did it, okay? I won't make it easy on you either!"

"It's only going to be a couple more minutes, but hey I'm fine with doing a quick game even if it is a bizarre idea from the local crazy girl. I'll give it a go and play your game. If only to make sure you don't get out that giant freaking hammer of yours and hit Kageta again with it." commented Disney as he looked over at Eika. She was a pretty girl but that just enforced the stereotype that all pretty women were out of their god forsaken minds. No one just walked around with a giant hammer all day. Then again he spent his time learning how to punch people so who was he too talk really? "And don't worry about taking it easy on me I'm one smooth brother. I like a good challenge so bring it!" Aaron said grinning slightly.

The smile from Kageta's face didn't fade at all, he knew that was just Aaron's personality, and hey, Eika was finally talking. "Hell, I'm down! If anything to avoid the boredom." He didn't care if she was peculiar at the least, this was usually the source of endless, endless merrymaking. He turned to Charlotte who had yet to interact with them. "'Yay-gurl', come over here and have fun with us." He called her invitingly. He also noticed Aaron's grin and thought of the implications of such. Kageta's eyebrow raised and his smile grew sly. "Ohohooo, Disney, bro, if you get that smile any wider you'll tear your ears off." He said as he used his glances to point to Eika.

Jäger sat staring out of the window, watching the scenery as it passed her by through the bus window. The sound of muted conversation filled the air, though she paid little attention to it, a pair of earphones worn over her ears blocking out the majority of the noise. The playlist had finished a long time ago, Jäger so caught up in her own thoughts that she had barely noticed. She was nervous. They all were, though some more so than others. In Jäger’s case it was plain to see as she absentmindedly twirled some hair between her fingers. Anyone familiar with the leader of the Archery Club was familiar with her little mannerisms. For Jäger fear was something that showed not on her face or in her voice but in the way she acted

Even now there was a part of her that regretted agreeing to this plan, however it was far too late to back out now. She was in the country. She was wearing the uniform. ‘That’ uniform. And on her lap sat the instrument that she would soon be forced to put to use, sealed within a cylindrical tube that sat upright on the seat next to her. She turned and looked down at the tube, staring at it for a moment before suddenly becoming aware of the sound of lively conversation. She turned toward Aaron and Kageta and frowned in annoyance.

“Yay-gurl?” she said in a flat tone with an equally flat expression. She sighed softly before removing the headphones from her ears. “My name is Charlotte. Char-lotte, say it with me, Char-lotte. Or Jäger. But not ‘gurl’. I will never answer to that again,” she said with no real enthusiasm before turning back toward the window. They would be arriving soon. Then there really would be no turning back. She smiled softly to herself. “Sorry, I’m just nervous.”

"Don't worry about it Charlotte things could always be worse. There's always a calm before the storm just imagine the eye and make yourself stay there as long as possible. When I get into a fight I always try to find my inner center. Sounds stupid yeah but it works for me. Finding a place where you can keep calm is important to the process of adjusting to something new. I hope that little bit of advice helps but if not well...do what you want. We can't just force you not to be nervous since all of us are nervous too. At least I am." Disney said as he reached across the isle to pat her on the shoulder if she doesn't let him he just sits and shrugs and looks back at Aika.

"Oi. Robin Hood! That's not nice."

A small pout came to the acrobat before she huffed and let a small smile hit her lips from the way they all spoke of being nervous. Honestly...She didn't know why there were so twisted up in a knot. To her, it was just a field trip to make a new show out of everything. Just one that was supposed to be a secret until the grand finale came along and she could take part in making a huge commotion with her own skills! Regardless, she took Disney's challenge on and sat up in order to show them her hands. The chord was wrapped around her right arm, four secure crosses around the arm to show how tight they were before she looped it around her middle finger once. Holding it up to them all, Eika held up one finger and grinned as she watched to see if any of them could catch on.

"Now. This is secure on my arm. No tricks, you can tug at if it you want to be sure. Now..."

A flick of her right middle finger, and a flick of her left middle finger, and somehow popped right off of her arm and onto her left arm without a logical reason as to how. Holding her left arm up, the same pattern of crosses and the same loop around her middle finger remained intact as she held it up and showed it to the three nervous kiddos. With a confident smile, Eika leaned in for them to see and pointed down at it before showing through her sleeves and jacket that there was nothing there for her to possible trick it with.

"Tadaaa!~ How do you think that I got it to my other arm? I didn't use any chord other than the one I just showed you. Think you can figure it out?"

"I don't know voodoo magic? Look I can dissect a punch or an uppercut or even how someone moves but not how they can do a magic trick. Maybe our other two are more enlightened than I. Sorry Eika I'm going to have to pass on trying to guess what you did." Aaron said giving up and going back to rolling the tape around his hands. "You know though that was a fun trick nice job with that." He said off handed in an attempt to no seem like a complete jerk. "Bus Driver sir! How much longer? I don't think we can take much more of these rocks bumping on this bus." Disney asked politely. The driver grunted out that they should arrive soon after all they had been driving for god knows how long now so it was only a matter of time before they reached their drop off point.

"Eh, its just a sleight-of-hand trick, no big deal... I don't know which trick though, ehehe.." He laughed sheepishly. He was being falsely cocky again, he didn't really know why he pretended, nor for whom. Kageta sat back in his chair only for his eyes to drift outside. "Well guys, its time to suck up our nerves," he said without removing his eyes from the hill. "Kyushu's right on the horizon." And it was, though not really on the horizon more that it was foreboding just behind the hill. It was huge, Kageta did not expect a school to be this large, or perhaps it was just tall. It was definitely time. "Guys, last minute checks! Things and what have you." His classmates' looks indicated that they had no idea what he was talking about, he himself really had no idea what he was talking about.

“Oh, it’s not that. I'm just not used to shooting at things that shoot back,” Jäger said jokingly as Aaron patted her comfortingly on the shoulder. She turned toward him and smiled at him appreciatively before returning her gaze back out of the window. She was not particularly interested in seeing Eika’s little trick. The younger members of her club, especially the girls, would often try to impress her with such sleight of hand tricks. And each time Jäger would smile and laugh and praise them. She was too lost in her thoughts to offer Eika the same consideration.

So many things could go wrong with this operation from the get go. And that was assuming that they weren’t simply walking straight into a trap. Jäger envied Eika her obvious courage, or oblivious mentality. What she wouldn’t give to stop her own hands from trembling in anticipation. Kageta’s excited clamouring did not help either. She tried to find the eye of the storm, as Aaron put it. Which was a good idea in principle, except that in her mind she was at sea and she couldn't swim. The mental image of herself splashing about helplessly made Jäger smile and laugh to herself.

But Kageta was right, they needed to get ready. She grabbed the tube and carefully unscrewed the lid. She reached inside and withdrew a complicated looking piece of equipment, a combination of smooth lines, mechanical joints and wire. In the centre there was a grip made especially for her hand. She gripped the centre and with a strong flicking motion caused the bow to open up, like a crabs pincers recoiling. As the bow unfolded fully the joints automatically locked into place. She tested the tautness of the bowstring, nodding to herself in satisfaction.

Jäger turned towards the others and nodded. “Ready as I’ll ever be,” she said as she began to fold up the mechanical bow. “Let’s all try to die on our first day of school,” she said, only half-jokingly.

As they group cleared themselves around a corner and up a small hill they came face to face with a breath taking view of the city. There was one large bridge surrounded by some train tracks that were held up by steel supports alongside it. There were two smaller bridges to the east and west of the city undoubtedly made as a precaution in case something happened to the main bridge. However the main bridge itself was newly paved and it was a breath taking sight that stretched all the way onto the island which held their too be school and town which was in-bedded into a mountain. There were three levels of the city and what looked like an entrance area where traffic was flooding in and out. The sea and seagulls flew around the city. "Sorry we didn't take the faster routes but those weren't usable by our town unfortunately kiddos. Anyways welcome to Kyushu City the place got a lot prettier since the red skies vanished. Those are all over by Honoji now with Miss Kiryuin." the man said and then asked the group politely not to tell anyone he said that. The group took one of the smaller bridges and were behind a long stream of cars. Disney quickly cut the tape off and then sealed it back in it's case which was in his backpack. "Well at least it's beautiful I was half expecting a dump. Wasn't this place just to be the testing bud for Honoji old man?" asked Disney as the old man shrugged. "I suppose so I heard it wasn't scrapped because of it's usefulness and because Lord Nero wanted a place of his own to represent the other side of the Kiryuin family. But that's all speculation my lad." commented the driver as Aaaron thanked him for confirming what he thought was up with this place. Disney however couldn't take his eyes off the beautiful oceans he ever saw a couple of dolphins jump in and out of the water and a school of fish was nearby.

He was amazed about how clean the water was. Probably some sort of water treatment plant nearby that released chemicals that destroyed the pollutants in the air. He had heard the other branch of the Kiryuins controlled the market on science products related to the environment as opposed to the powerful clothes and other things made by the main branch of their family. Which begged to wonder why they wanted in on this whole business? Was Little Lord Nero so vain he tried to prove the other branch was just as good in management as the main branch?

Regardless of Aarons' own speculation they soon entered the city through a toll gate which the bus driver passed by using a special bus pass of his probably because he was shepherding kids into school. Soon entered a crappy excuse for a shanty town...that they'd probably be living in soon. There was a group of older men conversing by the bus stop and there were even a few no star kids hanging out nearby. The town smelt...bad...like pig farm bad. It didn't help there was still whiffs of the salty sea smell coming nearby. Hopefully it got better the closer they got to one star territory. Disney grabbed his bags and other junk and forced himself up out of his seat cracking his back and knuckles as he let the other kids get off first. Before leaving however he thanked the bus driver for his time and wished him a great week before getting off the bus.

The sight before her might have had the capacity to numb one to pure amazement, but Eika wasn't really caring much for the scenery as her first item of obtaining was her hammer. Long, large, decorated with a plethora of amethyst, and uncanny in its ability to be handled by the woman who owned it. Descending down the steps first, Eika turned and waved to the bus driver with a sweet smile before turning on her heel and marching forth to get to the point of things. Yeah, it smelled bad, but so did rubbing alcohol, bleach, and chlorine -- all chemicals she was intimately familiar with as well. A clap of the hands, and a yank of her luggage bag, and the girl seemed to be quite a little oddball for the oversized weapon on her shoulder and the minor packing on the other side. But hey, Eika was the "resident sociopath", wasn't she?

"Let's get going! I can't wait to see what our new stage is going to be like.~"

She seemed more than happy to go and throw her safe into this mess occurring and unfolding. God have mercy on them all, she might send them all crashing and burning to the ground.

Jäger made doubly sure that the bow case was securely sealed before gathering up her other possesses. These included a travel bag containing among other things a first aid kit and a hunting knife. The first aid kit she knew how to use well enough, the knife was a memento of her fathers. Besides her bag she also had a suitcase, containing mainly clothes, hair products and a replacement set of headphones. With her possessions gathered she awkwardly made her way to the front of the bus, bag on her shoulder, suitcase in hand and her bow case held tightly under her other arm. As she passed the driver she thanked him and offered the man a warm smile to reassure him that nothing he had said would find its way back to him.

With a hop she landed gracefully onto the floor and looked around. The smell was bad but didn't bother her all that much. The area had an aura that put her ill at ease, a mixture of poverty, deprivation and tension. It made the area feel imposing and unwelcoming. The fact that she had already drawn the attention of more than a few individuals did little to alleviate matters. This was how prey must have felt, being salivated over by starving hounds. However Jäger was no frightened little rabbit. Ignoring the onlookers she stepped away from the bus and looked around to get her bearings, though the directions that they had been given were poor at best.

She turned toward Eika. “I don’t know how you can be so enthusiastic about any of this,” she said, motioning to the immediate area. “This is not the kind of place that I want to stay the night in, or day for that matter. I can feel myself getting dirty just standing here.” She turned toward Aaron who was last to get off of the bus. “So, where do we need to go from here?”

"How is that even a question Charlotte? What do you think that big ass building near the mountain summit is?" Disney said as he pointed directly at the giant building that had numerous windows and a few tram cars linked to it. "Come on was I the only one who did the readings? Whatever it's not that big of a deal...let's just get moving alright? But first any other questions like how to walk in a straight line?" Aaron said in exasperation. "Look I'm sorry Charlotte but come on look at that building it's huge and it fits...the Kiryuin ego so perfectly." Aaron made sure to whisper that last part so as not to piss off any nearby Kiryuin supporters.

“How is that even a question?” Jäger repeated the words with an exasperated tone of her own, rubbing the side of her head as she did so. “You know for one of the smartest people I know you’re really dumb sometimes. I was just trying to make conversation, don’t get your panties in a bunch,” Jäger replied in an annoyed tone before marching off ahead without waiting for the others.

Didn’t Aaron realize that a display of ignorance now would serve them well later? The less they appeared to know the less suspicions they would appear later. After all, new students were supposed to get a little lost on their first day. Of course she couldn’t say any of this out loud, not with so many eyes upon them at the bus stop. “Dumb ass!” she said irritably to herself, not caring who heard her as she headed through the streets towards, as Aaron had so eloquently put it, that big ass building.

"Well screw you too Charlotte hope you fall in a pot hole..." Aaron grumbled in annoyance. As he looked at the other two who were being quiet. "Well come on guys we gotta get moving. Being late on day one is a pretty bad sign." Aaron said looking at his two oddly silent companions. "You know the first one I expected to be shouting and poking people for the next two blocks was you Eika. What gives?" asked Disney as he looked over at a group of one stars march past the no-stars from earlier and shouted at them to get moving more or less shoving them along. Why one stars were here in this part of town was beyond him but hey this was one of the bus stops so it could be they were just passing by or maybe a part of the student council. Whatever the case may be he needed to get moving.

As the others got off, Kageta went last. He looked at the driver with a good smile. "Hey thanks for the ride, since I don't think you're gonna see us for a time, here." He extended his open hand at the bus driver, who was clearly surprised, though in a good way, which was the best way to describe his expression. After a bit, the driver smiled back and took his hand. Kageta nodded and left the bus. The only thing he had was his strap-lock backpack which contained all his essentials, school stuff... and his mask. He shook off the thought.

Kageta got off, stood beside Eika, and cracked his knuckles, ankles, elbows, neck, pretty much all the joints that could were cracked. The first thing that greeted him was a sight of the site, the slums looked unimpressive from behind the bus window and probably smelled really bad. The latter was true. The former though...

He noticed Aaron looking their way probably wondering why they were so quiet.

"You kiddin' man? Look at this place! Tin roofs, Uneven leveled buildings, offshooting walls... this is paradise, man!" Well paradise if one were to really love Parkour, which Kageta did. "I'm sorry, man, I know we're not supposed to attract attention being new students and stuff, but I can't resist! I'll meet you guys at the actual Kyushu." He stated with a grin. And took off sprinting.

Forward he ran, past Charlotte. "Hey, 'Lotte!'" He called out while running.

"Hey hey get out of the way I'mma going to be late for CLASS!!! AHHH!" a brown haired bay said as he pushed past Charlotte quickly running as fast as possible towards the school even slamming through the group of kids from earlier looking. "HEY WHAT THE HELL SENPAI!?" complained one of the no stars as the one stars looked on with annoyance. Disney could only wonder what the heck that kid was smoking as he looked over to Kageta and wondered what he was smoking too. Of course he knew he wasn't smoking anything which only served to make it stranger for him. "What's with you and free running huh? No offense bro I get it's like me and boxing but you look at everything that way. Hmmm should we go to school first or drop off all of our stuff at wherever we're staying? I'm staying at an apartment building my mom managed to get me. How about you guys?"
