Armaldo grinned, "Surely it can not be that hard." he moved onto the court and quickly moved between Kara and the ball raising his hands to catch it- and have it become impaled on the long sharp claws that served as his fingernails, the ball loosing air with wheezing gasps. Armaldo looked at his claws surprised, "Oh no!" he exclaimed distressed, "I broke it." He worriedly shook his hands dislodging the now deflated basketball from his claws. "Maybe, maybe I just watch for now." Armaldo said somewhat abashed and retreated back to the sidelines still holding the airless wreck. This was why he liked to wait first, he still needed to learn things, needed to learn many things. He looked at his claws considering how best to fix this problem, he did want to play somewhat, it would just be very difficult right now and he did not want to ruin the fun.

@Puffhead Alex blinked and turned to look back at Jerric, "That's it?"
Coming to a stop she shrugged, "Well that doesn't seem that hard...." Although....she wasn't exactly thinking the same hoop Jerric spoke of......more like a hula hoop sized ring standing sideways on the ground.

They came to a pair of large doors, where the noises and thuds came loudest in Alex's ears. Frowning she paused a moment, then reached foreword to lightly shove the doors open.

Inside was a large room, with lines on the floor and two tall stands on either end. At the top of each were tiny hoops with a net hanging from the bottom. THOSE were the hoops? Up there?

Alex blinked and glanced back at Jerric, "You call that simple?" She chuckled, "Those hoops have to be 11 feet in the air....maybe more...."

Jerric chuckled softly and nodded as he looked up at the hoops. "Yup, this are the hoops! Come on, you're part cat... It shouldn't be that difficult."

With that, he looked up at those who were playing the game and raised his arm. "Hey! I found another player for you guys if you're interested!" With that he put his arm around Alex and started to push her forwards slightly .

For the first time since Shadow had gotten here, he stepped foot outside of his trailer. The two guards lifted their weapons in fear. All it took was a quick snarl to get them away. "Ahh sorry sir! We didn't mean to threaten you!" They quickly went away to go about their own business. Shadow wasn't quite sure where to go though. He made his way towards the large building that was behind him. He stopped in front and sniffed out the place. There were many different hybrids around. He hoped that territory wasn't an issue for anyone, specifically the predators. He wasn't sure what would be on the other side of the door. He made his way in and let the door shut behind him. He was unsure of what odd creatures he would see.

Alex blinked when Jerric urged her foreword, holding herself from digging the heels of her feet into the floor. Stumbling foreword onto the open course she froze; eyes staring back and forth between the other 'players' as Jerric had called them.
Standing up she clenched her jaw, glanced back at the sloth man, then smirked and slowly stepped foreword.

She watched their movements and studied their strategies. With each dribble of the ball she grew a little more accustomed to how the game worked. It really was simple.....one team tried to score in the opposite hoop, while the other did the same. Each hoop was a score....or so she assumed.

That was around the time Armaldo stabbed the ball with his claws; a rather funny situation despite the defeated look on the guy's face.

Alex smiled encouragingly to him, then nodded to the others, "So....mind letting me in on a game and guiding me on the first few runs? I'm a little new here."

Armis giggled at Armaldo's failed attempt to catch the ball.
"Well, that was fun while it lasted."
She turned to Kara.
"So, we did something I wanted to do, what's something you want to do?"

"Er, Armis, I think we have more company," Kara looked past the lizard girl to find the sloth boy and someone she couldn't remember. Surely she hadn't missed an entire person, which meant the girl had to be new. She looked very human-like, same as her.

"Er, hey. Sure, you can play. I mean, we've wrecked our ball but I'm sure there's another one here. I'm Kara by the way," she hoped the other girl would take this as an invitation to introduce herself. Kara was bad with faces, but her sense of smell usually made up for that in recognising people. She'd met so many new people in the last few hours though, but she was pretty sure she hadn't introduced herself to everyone.

Alex smiled kindly to the others. The untimely demise of the basketball was unfortunate, but she was willing to look for another if it meant she could try playing.
Nodding to Kara, Alex flicked her spotted tail from side to side and chuckled, "I'm Alex." She stepped closer, curiosity spiking as she studied the odd lines marked over the floor of the room. They must mark the restrictions of the game's perimeter......

Jacky patted Armaldo on the back as the hybrid reached him in an attempt to calm him down. "Hey, I bet it happens all the time. Maybe you could do another sport or something?" he asked, looking around to see if there were any more activities that Armaldo could do. "Maybe you could play badminton or something..."

Alicia - Intro

Alicia stepped tentatively into the facility. She had been dropped off just moments before by the men who had taken her from the barn, not even allowing her to collect what meager supplies she had in the barn she had lived in. "Hello?" She called out, her small voice echoing through the corridors. "Is anyone there?"

Armaldo looked at Jacky thankfully, "No, is fine I find somethin-" he interupted his sentence to take a deep sniff. "Hmmm, new smell maybe find someone." He walked off following the smell and rounded the corner to find another one of the Girl things, this one had large white things sticking out of her back. "Aha found you!" he said excitedly, "What are you? Oh and what are those?" Armaldo asked eagerly pointing at the wings. He knew there was someone else, he was getting good at finding poeple smells.

"U-um, hi..." Her voice was hardly over a whisper. "U-um, they're m-my wings. W-who are you?" Alicia smiled tentatively at Armaldo. "I just got here. I assume this is the facility?" She looks at his features curiously. "W-what are you mixed with? The plates resemble a turtle, but..." She looks a little closer. "...you don't seem like that."

As Matt enters the facility in a long coat with his hood up and sunglasses on. He gets escorted to his room. When he enters the room assigned to him he closes all the windows and curtains leaving the room in darkness.
He then looks up and sees a platform that has a gap in it. He then gently closes the door and unfolds his wings and fly's into the second level.

Jacky shrugged as Armaldo left the room, assuming the armadillo hybrid would return after a while. If not, he would always see Armaldo later, right? He instead looked around the gym area, looking for something he was at least a little good at. "If there was a scooter or something I guess I could try that..." he mumbled, remembering when Gramma explained how they worked after he saw someone passing by their house.

@Asuna Yuuki Armaldo answered the question somewhat puzzled, "I am Armaldo, yes this facility" he wasn't sure what she meant by mixed with but he told her what he was, and he didn't think that there was another place that she could be looking for, although given what he knew about anything that might be wrong. However unlike him the girl did not tell Armaldo what she was, "But um, what you? Oh, and can I touch wings? They look soft." he said excitedly. So that is what wings were. So the things birds used to fly, he wondered if this "girl" could fly as well. Flying seemed like it would be fun, but also scary.

"U-um, my n-name is A-Alicia. T-touch them? I suppose so..." She says, smiling a little at Armaldo's enthusiasm. She thought for a minute, still studying Armaldo's features. "Aha!" She cries suddenly, smiling broader. "You're part armadillo, aren't you?"

@Asuna Yuuki Alicia, another name to add to the list. He replied to her epiphany quizzically, "What is armadillo?" Armaldo had seen all kinds of animals before. Wolves, bears, fish, birds, but he had never seen an armadillo. He moved his hands towards Alicia's wings slowly and barely tapped them making sure to avoid touching them with his claws. As he suspected they were very soft indeed, especially closer to the base. He sniffed around again, he thought he smelled someone else, someone that smelled like... blood. Hmm...

Alicia faltered, confused. "O-Oh, perhaps I was mistaken. Or maybe you don't know what an armadillo is..." He touched her wings, and she jumped a little, not being used to them being touched. "Haha, that tickled a little." She looked around, confused. "What are you sniffing for?"

After his quick snooze at the top half of his room he begins to make his way down. Using his echo location he studies the area he is in with more clarity. After flying down he opens his room door. As he stands at the door he wonders if he should keep his sunglasses on, he paused to think about it before deciding to keep them on.

As he walked into a hallway he stopped and took a sharp intake of breath. two people, hmm they smell tasty...especially the one with wings... he thought as he shook his head to himself as he stood frozen in the hallway. After emitting another high pitched sound he was sure one of them had wings, a girl i think...

Still he stood there, standing still not know what to do or weather to introduce himself. Standing there clad in long coat that covered his wings and sunglass's he wondered what they would make of him.
