"Annabelle!" I cried, catching you as you fell. I shifted you so that I was carrying you bridal style and jumped up to the roof. I made sure not to jostle you as I did so. "We have finished here. Let us go back to the mansion." I said, jumping carefully from roof to roof.

I open my eyes. "Sebastian... I can't take another carriage ride... it's just... too much..." My voice is weak. My current jobs have made my heart rate increase, causing constant pain. "You know of my condition, but I had an injury as a child. I hurt every bump, explaining my flinching." I shudder. "Bring me home."

I look out toward the moon. "How's the spouse search going?" I ask weakly, looking for a changed subject.
