His farewell to Luna out of the way, Jacque began walking towards the cabin at a brisk pace, intent on figuring out the extent of the little girl's wounds now that he'd had a chance to cool off a bit. As he passed by Senka he gave her a brief sideways glance, but said nothing. Jacque may not have been the smartest one of the bunch, but he could be remarkably perceptive at times, and right now he could tell that Senka might be a problem. Though the subject of a second in command had come up several times in the group no official lieutenant had ever been decided upon, however at some point Senka had seemed to take it upon herself to take charge in Luna's stead. It normally wasn't an issue for Jacque, and the man allowed her to -as he put it- "play pretend general", however there where a few times where he felt she'd overstepped a boundary, or was so absorbed in thinking that she didn't act when needed, which put the two at odds on more than one occasion. Unfortunately for Senka, Luna's words to Jacque meant one thing this time: He was in charge of protecting everyone, so he was in charge until Luna got back. As he climbed the stairs of the cabin with his eggs in hand, Jacque decided to allow Senka to tell everyone to hop to, however the moment that the meeting she planned started he had every intention of nipping things in the bud before they became problematic.
Jacque stopped a bit left of the cabin door and slipped off his boots, having forgotten to remove them at the stables, then entered the cabin. Once inside, Jacque wasted little time placing the eggs in the fridge and pulling a juice box from the fridge door. He jammed the straw in and took a few sips of apple juice before using his tail to close the door, "Estelle, I know you're in here, come into the kitchen, we need to have a chat." he said sternly as he began to fiddle with the straps of his overalls. His anger subsided, Jacque felt it was only right to let Estelle know that he wasn't angry at her, but that she needed to exercise more caution. Jacque's talk would have to be quick however, as the smell of his sweat mixed with the muck covering his clothing and skin was making him desperately long for a shower, especially now that he was in an enclosed space.
