The beat was pretty decent, but I wasn't really a big fan of the lyrics or the vocals. Imagery was cool though. 6/10

Raise Hell by (Hed) P.E.

2/10. I feel like if I was 13 again I might like this, but it just has nothing substantial to it. No real meaning behind it, no clever wordplay. Just shouting 'bitch' and 'suck a dick' over and over again. Really not my type of thing. And I do like a lot of metal. Just this really doesn't do it for me.

@OfficerHeadbutt 7/10, I like his voice and the beat. It reminds me of OneRepublic for some reason, sounds like a song they'd do. It's not bad.

@HeatThat ending haha. +1

7/10 I used to play this online rhythm game on another site. The playlist was compiled of a mix of everything really from mostly unheard of songs of old and some new ones from major artists but they were all enjoyable and memorable. This song would easily make the list. It's an easy listen with good lyrics and even managed to get me to head nod a bit. It's also a bit dated and although that's not exactly a negative thing, it lacks... something? that keeps me from leaving the track on repeat. I'd never skip the song but I wouldn't backtrack to it either.

For nostalgia reasons... now you've done it...

I gave it the highest rating I could simply because it's Reliant K. I'm not saying that the song was bad. It honestly wasn't. To be quite frank, there were parts where I found myself rocking out, but in my honest opinion, it's not their strongest show of musicianship — not by a long shot. Still, it was a somewhat enjoyable listen. :)

Ah, 1999. Manson's golden age. Though The Dope Show is longer than it needs to be and the electronic synth-pop drums do it no favors, Manson's reverb-covered anti consumerist lyrics makes this song stand out in this album. Also, it's a neat video.

I wasn't feeling the instruments, and the vocals - sounded a little out of whack.

While the beat was good, I found the vocals to be less than impressive.

@Altered Tundra

Definitely a better singing voice than the one she uses in Flyleaf, and an overall cleaner sound.

@Heat As someone that usually shuns the heavy metal genre, I actually quite enjoyed that song. For some reason, Slayer seems to be on another tier when it comes to heavy metal; their music is somehow more tolerable compared to other bands of the same genre. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

@FleebJuice 7/10, I like it. Sounds kind of trippy, psychedelic.

3/10 Really not a big fan of the singer, I do appreciate the musical eclecticness. I usually love a bunch of instruments. I just didn't like it here. (music aside, ugh jack black)

7/10, while not my style, I can really appreciate the quality of that guitar playing. Really clean playing.

Let's get instrumental up in this bitch.

7.5 Heh, very enjoyable.

I guess I'll throw out one of the most interesting/enjoyable bands I've heard in a while. (Since it doesn't look like this will be posted on.)

8/10; It's nice enjoyable fun, I'll throw it into my mix.

These guys are largely unknown, but include a member of the relatively prominent but short lived pop punk band Autopilot Off and something else I cannot remember. If you like it, force it into other people and spread the word. They're called Dead Ahead.

Video isn't available, I youtubed it and can't find it either. Might have been taken down for reasons :(

But I'll carry this on...

Appreciate THIS

Prog Metal isn't for everyone but I just revel in this guys skill, and whilst the song as a whole isn't great imo it has some beautiful parts to it.

(@nightrunner I'll rate your song since the other person couldn't. 7/10 It's quite simple and very sound like for its genre, but its certainly enjoyable enough.)

6/10 My main gripe is how odd the mix seems to me, the drums do not mix well with the guitar. It's technically impressive like most prog metal is, you cannot deny the talent involved. But as a song as a whole, I've just heard much better prog. (also I do have a slight bias for lyrics in my music. :3)

@SleepingSilence That opening sequence was very heartfelt and heavy. Nice to see the evolution of a man and in this case, a man and his friends. Also have to give props to a song that's stuck in a genre that I don't necessarily enjoy but keeps me engaged anyways. I don't generally listen to metal or music of similar tastes but this was enjoyable nonetheless. I can't really make out what he's saying half the time but the guitars and the drums and the melody are all good enough that it's never really an issue. It just becomes another part of the music and blends in with everything else. Fun stuff. A possible non skip track though to be honest I'd never search for the song out right.

8/10 Think that's the highest score I've given to a metal song so far.

(Glad you enjoyed it so much, makes me feel bad. XD People need to post in this faster, I wait 24 hours but I don't want it die.)
4.5/10 It just sort of seems like the minimalist beat, I could produce in fruity loops. The singer's voice is pleasant and I don't dislike 'chill' music, but I do care about lyrics more than the average person. So those don't help. Wouldn't say it's bad. But, certainly not my thing.

(The artist that got me into rap and take it seriously. Lyrically something I could see as actual poetry.)

6.8/10 reminds me of Linkin Park quite a bit. It's rap but not set in the regular hip-hop which I enjoyed. I too like rap that really shows the lyrical ability of the writer rather than 'make money get bitches' which unfortunately the genre is awash with. I don't typically like rap but this was of a different variety and so I liked it! Having said all that I think the beat could have been better. It's a good platform for the lyrics but to be a really good song I think it needs a really strong beat to go with it.

My next suggestion could be considered 'out there' by some and so I'm really interested what people would think of it, personally a very important song even if it is in German.
