"Well, I can tell you that my Eevee evolved into Sylveon due to her bond with Prof Oak's assistant, Tracy. You see, there was a Fearow that would constantly terrorize her. One day during the two months before the Indigo League Competition we participated in that Fearow attacked Tracy and Eevee jumped in to save him, evolving in the process."

[James Davy]

"Your Eevee also needs to know a Fairy-type move otherwise it would end up evolving to an Espeon or an Umbreon," added Shiranui.

[Flood]

"I'll keep note of that." Ryan said as they navigated the cave. He liked all the reflections, they made sure that they couldn't be ambushed.

"There is a myth that one of these reflective walls leads to a parallel universe." Liam said.

[James Davy]

"I highly doubt there are any Unown around here to spirit us away;" Shiranui stated, knowing about the stories told of the Unown, "And I don't know of any Pokémon that can do that outside of the Creation Trio. I mean, there are anecdotes I heard back in Lumiose City about a djinn, but that's too much of a stretch to believe."

[Flood]

"I agree. If it were a Pokemon doing something like this it would make sense, but no ordinary mirror can take a person to an alternate dimension." Ryan said.

"I personally put no stock in the myth, I am just sharing a story I heard." Liam stated. Liam began to hear a high pitch sound reverberating off the walls. He clasped his hands on his ears.

[James Davy]

Shiranui covered his ears as well. "Zubat! Or worse!" he exclaimed.

Liam began to follow the sound of the screech and found a lavender colored bat.

"Noibat, the Sound Wave Pokemon.They live in pitch-black caves. Their enormous ears can emit ultrasonic waves of 200,000 hertz.Even a robust wrestler will become dizzy and unable to stand when exposed to its ultrasonic waves."

[Flood]

Ryan, Fuma, and Oberon all covered their ears as the insanely loud screech rang throughout the cave. He followed Liam and Shiranui and glared at the Noibat. "Make it shut up!" He yelled as loudly as he could.

[James Davy]

"Bakudan, Sonic Boom!" Shiranui sent his Electrode out and the explosive ball let off a shock wave of air that struck the Noibat and made it stop, whilst being immune to the Noibat's high-pitched sonar.

The Noibat became angry at the Electrode's attack. Liam called out Kirlia. Noibat began to screech again and Kirlia used Disarming Voice, The Noibat fell to the cave floor. It got back up and used Bite. Kirlia took the Super Effective hit. Liam called for Hypnosis. Kirlia's eyes began to glow a soft blue. The Noibat's eye began to close, it eventually fell to the ground again with the cliche snot bubble. Liam used a Luxury Ball. The Noibat was caught. Since Liam's roster was full, the ball shrank to the small form and the center dot constantly glowed red.
"Shall we move on?" He inquired.

[James Davy]

At that point, cracks started appearing on Shiranui's egg. "Hold that thought," answered Shiranui, "My egg's hatching!" The top half of the egg broke off to reveal a lavender and mauve blob with four antennae and a series of green spots along the colour divide. "Goo!" it greeted.
"Well, aren't you a cutie," commented Shiranui before scanning the newborn with his Pokédex.
"Goomy, the Soft Tissue Pokémon. It's covered in a slimy membrane that makes any punches or kicks slide off it harmlessly." Shiranui tapped Goomy with a Dusk Ball and after a few shakes, the newborn was caught. He named the Goomy Numeru.

"Awesome." Liam commented. He hoped to get a Goomy himself one day.

[Flood]

"Praise Lord Goomy." Ryan muttered to himself before shaking his head. "Wait what? Anyways, nice catch. Now let's get out of here before another one shows up." Ryan said as he walked towards where he thought the exit was.

Kairlia was conversing with a Woobat. He then relayed to the humans the path out was around the corner and a hundred meters straight ahead.

[James Davy]

"Sounds like a plan," replied Shiranui.

Liam recalled Kirlia, thanking the Woobat for the information. 'Lets get on to Shalour City."

[Flood]

"Lets." Ryan continued walking while following the directions that were given.

Soon enough, the cave's exit was in sight.
