[IC] Pokemon: Kalos

Ryan looked over at Shiranui and Liam and smiled. "Ahh yes, the Baa de Mer Ranch. You can ride Skiddo all over the place if you want. It's pretty fun." Ryan said as he looked back to the road. "We should make a stop there."

[James Davy]

"That sounds like a plan," Shiranui agreed before consulting his Pokédex.
"Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon. Thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans, it has a placid disposition."
"Am I reading this right?" he asked after seeing a list of Skiddo's moves, "I thought Milk Drink was a signature move."

When Shiranui pointed out the ranch on the map, Liam was immediately imagined a heard Tauros running around while some Miltank slept nearby. A flock of Marrep grazed in the distance. "Should we check out this ranch?" Liam inquired.

[James Davy]

"Yes, we should," Shiranui answered, "From what Ryan told me, it's a Skiddo ranch."

[Flood]

"It is indeed. Only Skiddo in case you were wondering, no Tauros nor Miltanks to be found." Ryan interjected quickly and concisely. He then put some thought into the Milk Drink question. "I see no reason for the act of drinking milk to be a signature move. When you think about it it is rather ridiculous." Ryan put out his thoughts on it. "But I suppose when only one species of Pokemon produces milk it could be a signature move. So it was a signature move, but then the Skiddo was discovered and it became known that it was not. That's my explanation."

"Well, lets go check it out then." Liam said. Soon after, the ranch began to come into view.

Shiranui was astounded to see a lot of Skiddo running around.

[Flood]

Ryan smiled as he observed the duo's wonder at the amount of Skiddo. "Pretty cool right?" Fuma smiled and looked around while Oberon just stood there with his arms crossed. He was not impressed.

[James Davy]

"This region never ceases to amaze me," Shiranui answered.

"Haven't seen too many Skiddo." Liam stated as he pulled out his Pokedex.

"Skiddo, the Mount Pokemon. It is thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans. It has a placid disposition. When a Skiddo has sunshine and water, it doesn't need to eat, because it can generate energy from the leaves on its back."

"That's awesome." Liam noted. He wanted to just stay there for a bit and watch these adorable Pokemon.

[Flood]

Ryan leaned against a wall nearby and just soaked in the sunshine. A Skiddo walked by and he pet it before he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. He loved the fresh air and peace here.

[James Davy]

"Hang on, isn't this place famous for its dairy products?" Shiranui asked, remembering reading on the Baa de Mer Ranch beforehand.

"I'm not sure." Liam replied.

[Flood]

"Yeah, but they cost a lot. Most trainers don't make enough Poke for Baa de Mer Ranch Milk, so they instead ride around on the Skiddos which is free." Ryan explained as the Skiddo that he had pet wandered away. He opened his eyes and looked at the sky. "Is there anything else you wanted to do here? Take your time, I don't mind."

"Not that I can think of." Liam replied.

[James Davy]

"I can't think of anything either," added Shiranui.

[Flood]

"Then I suppose we're leaving." Ryan left the ranch and got back onto Route 12. He walked for a bit and looked at Fuma and Oberon. "So... I liked the ranch. How about you guys?" Fuma nodded and Oberon had an impassive look on his face.

[James Davy]

Shiranui made his way as well and when he caught up with Ryan, a bright glow issued from his back. Shiranui noticed it was Yoto evolving when he saw the Honedge's cloth glow. When the glow subsided, Shiranui noticed two purple and yellow ribbons waving at him. He pulled out his Pokédex and scanned Yoto. "Doublade, the Sword Pokémon and the evolved form of Honedge. The complex attack patterns of its two swords are unstoppable, even for an opponent greatly accomplished at swordplay."
"Well, look at you, Yoto," Shiranui remarked, pulling the two swords out and holding them in both his hands, "You have a twin now." He could tell the two swords apart from the fact only one of the ends of their hilts was pointy.

"Congrats Yoto." Liam praised. "Camphier Town should be coming up real soon according to the map." Liam informed.

[Flood]

"Huh. That doesn't normally happen outside of battle." Ryan commented as they approached Camphier Town.
