"Sundan, Aerial Ace on Crobat!" The Mega Scizor put up a display of speed before grabbing Crobat with both his pincers. The move was made more powerful through Sundan's Technician ability.

The Malamar and the Croat were both knocked out. "Now lets go find Lysandre and end this."Liam said.

"You'll find him soon enough, my worthy adversaries," stated Xerosic, "But first, for showing me your amazing skills in battle, I will tell you something very interesting. It happened 3,000 years ago. The ultimate weapon was used to put an end to the war in an instant. If we use that incredible power, we can finally free Kalos of the foolish humans that plague it!

"You may have bested me in battle, but this is far from over!" At that, Xerosic pushed a red button on the wall. "The ultimate weapon is reborn! The poisonous flower has bloomed! All shall perish! Except for Team Flare! Look at Geosenge! It has bloomed in Geosenge Town! The boss's dream of creating a beautiful world will come true! Add it all up, and it equals…a victory for our SCIENCE!"
"Liam, we have to get to Geosenge Town posthaste!" warned Shiranui, "They mean to eradicate us with that thing!"

"I hate leaving Team Flare free like this, but you're right." Liam said. "Sherlock! teleport us to Geosenge Town! Quickly!" Sherlock emerged. Liam grabbed onto the Pokemon and grabbed Shiranui's arm.

Sherlock teleported the duo to Geosenge Town and Shiranui spotted something rising out of the ground to the north. Zygarde—in its canine-like form—was there to greet the heroes. "It's as I feared!" the Order Pokémon stated, "The fiery humans have acquired both the Tree of Life and the Cocoon of Destruction and are using their power to wipe out all of humanity aside from them! My core here has sent out the call to gather. I will need to be complete to put this whole thing right."

"Well, lets go stop Team Flare." Liam said as he recalled Sherlock.

[James Davy]

"Will do," replied Shiranui. The heroes made their way north to Team Flare's headquarters and Shiranui had Yoto break the door open with a move the Doublade had only just learned.

Inside was a small room with a console in the middle. "Shall we press a button?" Liam asked.

[James Davy]

"I say we shall," answered Shiranui, "What could be worse than 99% of humanity and Pokémon being wiped out?"

Liam pressed the button and the floor started to drop down. When it reached the bottom there was a door. On the other side of it ws a bunch of Flare Grunts while Lysandre stood in the back of the room, with his back to the heroes. Liam approached the Flare Boss. The ultimate weapon's flower has finally bloomed above the soil. Don't you find its beauty captivating? As we speak, it draws its energy from the Legendary Pokémon. I apologize that the weapon was unearthed even after you chose correctly in the lab. But conflicting egos drive this world--things don't always go the way you want!"
"Even though resources, space, and energy on this planet are limited, the number of people and Pokémon has increased to an unsustainable level. Whether it's money or energy, the ones who steal are the ones who win in this world."
"So, tell me. The Mega Ring, did you share it?"
"When there is only one of something, it can't be shared. When something can't be shared, it will be fought over. And when something is fought over, some must survive without it. The only way to create a world where people live in beauty, a world without conflict or theft, is to reduce the number of living things."

"Pokémon... Shall no longer exist. Pokémon are wonderful beings. Humans have worked with Pokémon, and we have helped each other flourish. But precisely because of that, they will inevitably become tools for war and theft!"

"Enough of this. You want to stop the ultimate weapons, and I refuse to do so. So, I will keep you busy for just a moment..."' Lysandre then readied his Pokeballs. He called out a Honchkrow and a Meinshao.
Liam sent out Jiriaya.

"Mienshao, the Martial Arts Pokémon and the evolved form of Mienfoo. Using the long fur on its arms like whips, it launches into combo attacks that, once started, no one can stop."
"Hana, I choose you!" Shiranui sent his Florges out. "Use Dazzling Gleam!" The Florges glowed with a bright light.

"Jiriaya! Power Up Punch on Honchkrow!" The fighting move hit the target. Honchkrow used Air Cutter or Jiriaya.

Mienshao used Wide Guard to block Hana's attack. "Hana, use Moonblast on Mienshao!" The Florges gathered some moonlight into an orb and fired a beam of it at Mienshao, who took the super effective hit.

"Ariel Ace on Meinshao!" Liam called. The attack hit.

Mienshao was knocked out and Lysandre sent his Pyroar into battle. "Hana, return; Kohaku, I choose you!" Honchkrow used Pursuit and struck Hana before Shiranui could make the switch. Shiranui switched his Florges for his Aerodactyl. "Kohaku, use Rock Slide!" The Aerodactyl threw a salvo of boulders at both Pyroar and Honchkrow.

"Water Shruiken on Pyroar!" Liam called. It was a five hit attack of priority speed. Both attacks together KO'd Pyroar. Gyarados was sent out and Lysandre Mega Evolved it.
"You have Mega Evolution?" Liam asked surprised. He recalled Jiriya and sent out Anubis and evolved him.

"Kohaku, return; Hana, I choose you!" Shiranui switched back to his Florges. "Dazzling Gleam!" Hana glowed with a bright light again and the attack hit both Honchkrow and Mega Gyarados for super effective damage. Honchkrow was knocked out and now only Mega Gyarados was left.

"Dragon Pulse the Lucario." He ordered.
"Aura Sphere!" Liam called. Anubis jumped to avoid the attack and hurled the ball of power at Gyarados.

"Hana, Petal Dance!" The Florges fired a salvo of petals that started orbiting the Aura Sphere like a planetary ring system. The two-pronged attack struck Gyarados with super-effective damage.

Gyarados crashed to the ground and returned to normal.

"The strength to protect, huh? But what are you really protecting? A tomorrow that will only end up being worse than today? You're as strong as ever. But... It's too late! There's no hope for you now! Go down to the lowest floor, and see for yourself!" The heroes went down there.

What a startling development! I never would've thought you were really a chosen one!"
"So THESE are the mighty Xerneas and Yveltal?! I expected more from Pokémon called legends! You desire help from people? YOU need help from a human?"
"For me, victory is using the ultimate weapons. In order to do that, I need to reclaim these Legendary Pokémon's power and send it to that weapon once again. If that were possible, all wars would have ended long ago! I can only see one future! One where selfish, foolish humans think about nothing other than themselves and steal more and more from one another... It's a tragic future!"
"The original purpose of this device was to bring a Pokémon back to life. But the ancient king transformed it into this ultimate weapon... Hmm. When the Legendary Pokémon awakened, it took back much of its energy--its power--that had been sent to the ultimate weapon. There's not much power left... But there IS enough to use it once..."
'Let us live forever... That's right! I shall grant you eternal life! I'll give you the pain of endlessly waiting for a beautiful world to finally be built! The ultimate weapon is a flower that bloomed to no avail... Just like me... But this ends here! I will show what its remaining power can do!"

Lysandre started to use a machine to suck power from the duo again. "Plasma!" Liam quickly called Rotom out who went into the machine and made the chambers open. "Let's go to the two legends." Liam said.
