Boulders tumbled to the ground below as dust and debris filled the air while the Corrupted Gem tried to make its escape, its long tail slashing at the canyon walls that were already unstable enough before the giant lizard like beast of a monster decided to crash on through. Weak walls were easily smashed to bits as the holes fully lining the maze like canyon made the impact crack out further than usually as the holes made a chain reaction from one to the next. The multiple cave ins along the path being one of the big reasons why the duo of Gems following were having such a hard time retrieving said monstrous gem since every time they moved to attack they would have to dodge falling rocks or Gem relics left behind from so very long ago. It was in this very same place, Kindergarten, what looked like a barren waste land to most was actually the birthplace to many Gems and sad as it was, only a slim few were normal while the others were...different to say the least.
Kindergarten had always been a split feeling for Aquamarine since on one hand, it harmed Earth and caused so much possible havoc to the inhabitants of this beautiful world but at the same time she would not be alive without this place. It was her beginnings and though she never asked for it, at least she wasn't alone. There were others in her same position and they had found each other, made new home in Coast City which they had choose for themselves. It felt right to defend what was theirs, protect Earth from HomeWorld while trying to keep all the mess they left behind in check. She wished there was more that could be done for these other poor Gems but for now, this was the best way. It was with that thought in mind that she focused on the task at hand as the three continued with their chase with the Lizard-ish Gem. She gripped her weapon tighter, gracefully dodging another falling boulder while trying to keep her target in sight. It quickly turned other corner, the maze of walls finally opening up to a clear area but the creature didn't continue forward but spun to attack. Its jagged jaw opened, screeching at them as the jewel studded frill on its neck popped out and it spat out sticky tar like goo at them.
Aquamarine quickly jumped back, grabbing the jewel at the bottom of her harpoon and pulling out the chain as she readied herself for a full on fight with the six legged creature.
